Stuff. Change color to yellow.

7-9 rnd: 6 sc (3 rows)

Don’t stuff the yellow part. Cut the yarn, leaving a long

end enough for sewing.

Crochet the boy's and girl's horns similarly.

DESIGN OF THE HEAD
Sew the muzzle between 14th and 24th row of the head. Stuff the detail in the course of crocheting.

(look at the link how I do it https://youtu.be/c9e20C6Nsjs).

Make the tightening for the eyes. To do this mark the points 3 and 4 between the 17th and 18th

rows in the immediate vicinity of the muzzle and the points 1 and 2 between the 15th and 16th rows directly

over the points 3 and 4 (as it is shown at the photo). In my case the space between points 1 and 2 is 9 sc.

(look at the link how I mark the points https://youtu.be/xec57WUir4s)

Now insert a needle in the head, fasten off a thread and take it out in the point 1, then insert in the

head in the point 3 and take out in the point 2, tighten a thread. Again insert a needle in the head in the

point 4 and take it out in the point 1, tighten a thread. Repeat this action 2-3 times, fasten off, cut a thread

and hide inside the head (look at the link how I make the tightening https://youtu.be/tiTLa_xzbXA).

If you insert the eyes with stalks, make the tightening the same way (insert a needle in the immedi-

ate vicinity of the eye).

The next step is gluing the eyes with the help of a glue gun.
Then embroider the whites of the eyes with white thread, the eyelids, eyelashes for girl, brows with

black thread, the nostrils with brown thread, the cheeks with red thread. For the nostrils and cheeks i split

the Alize thread and embroider by 2 threads (out of 4).

Sew the horns between 7th and 10th row of the head as it’s shown at the photo.
Count down 5 rows and sew the ears (between 14th and 15th row).

If you want you can glue or sew the brown stains into the ears. Crochet them according to the

scheme:

1 rnd: 6 sc in MR

2 rnd: 6 inc (12)

Cut the yarn, fasten off. Sew or glue the stains (I glue).
DESIGN OG THE GIRL’S BODY
Skirt
Start to crochet the skirt. To do this attach blue thread to the last front loop of the 14th row of the

body and crochet according to the scheme:

1 rnd: 2 ch, 2 dc in each loop, sl st to join in the end (96)

Change thread to white

2 rnd: 2 ch, (1 dc, 2 dc in 1 loop)*48, sl st to join in the end (144)

Change thread to blue

3 rnd: 2 ch, 144 dc, sl st to join in the end

Change thread to white

4 rnd: 2 ch, 144 dc, sl st to join in the end

Change thread to blue

5 rnd: 2 ch, 144 dc, sl st to join in the end

Change thread to white

6 rnd: 2 ch, 144 dc, sl st to join in the end

7 rnd crochet for the bk lp: 2 ch, 4 dc in the next loop, skip 1 loop, 1 sc, skip 1 loop, (5 dc in 1 loop,

skip 1 loop, 1 sc, skip 1 loop)*47, sl st to join in the end

8 rnd crochet for the fr lp of the 7th row: 1 ch, 144 sc, sl st to join in the end

Cut the yarn, fasten off, hide the ends of the threads.
Collar
Attach blue thread to the 1st front loop of the 31st row and crochet according to the scheme:

1 rnd: 1 ch, (5 sc, inc)*3, sl st to join in the end (21)

Cut the yarn, fasten off, hide the end of the thread.

If you didn’t attach the arms during the crocheting of the body then sew them now. Sew the arms

between 28th and 29th row of the body.

Try on the head to the body and begin sewing. In the course of sewing stuff the neck very tight, so

as the head does not dangle because of its heaviness.

Tail
To make the tail attach yellow thread to the 20th loop of the 10th row of the body (look at the photo).

Make chain 8 ch, insert the hook in the 2nd loop from the hook and crochet 7 sl st. Pull the thread. Use a

needle to pull the ends of the threads into the body at one point, tie a knot, hide the ends of the threads

into the body.

Twice attach the brown thread to the end of the tail as it’s shown at the photo and video (look at the

link https://youtu.be/950WVh1VONY). Fluff.

Scarf
Crochet with red yarn. Make chain 61 ch and insert the hook in the 2nd loop from the hook.

1 rnd: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 7 dc, 1 hdc, 40 sc, 1 hdc, 7 dc, 1 hdc, 3 sc in 1 loop, further crochet on the other

side of the chain 1 hdc, 7 dc, 1 hdc, 40 sc, 1 hdc, 7 dc, 1 hdc, 2 sc in the last loop, sl st to join in the end.

Fasten off, cut the yarn, hide the end of the thread. Try on the scarf to the giraffe and admire the

result!

DESIGN OF THE BOY’S BODY

If you didn’t attach the arms during the crocheting of the body then sew them now. Sew the arms

between 28th and 29th row of the body.

Collar
Attach light blue thread to the 1st front loop of the 31st row and crochet according to the scheme:

1 rnd: 1 ch, (5 sc, inc)*3, sl st to join in the end (21):

Cut the yarn, fasten off, hide the end of the thread.

Twice attach the brown thread to the end of the tail as it’s shown at the photo and video (look at the

link https://youtu.be/950WVh1VONY ). Fluff.

Overall
Begin crocheting with the pants. Make chain 24 ch and close the ring by 1 sl st. Crochet the overall

for the back loop.

1-5 rnd: 1 ch, 24 sc, sl st to join in the end

Cot the yarn. Crochet the second pant similarly, don’t cut the yarn.

Join the pants. To do this insert the hook in the 1st loop of the 1st pant and crochet according to the

scheme:

6 rnd: 24 sc on the 1st pant, 24 sc on the 2nd pant, sl st to join in the end (48)
When joining the pants I don’t make ch, so as not to enlarge the hole between the pants, therefore sl

st to join in the end of the 6th row in the 1st loop of the row.

7 rnd: 1 ch, 1 sc in the same 1st loop, 47 sc (48)

8-15 rnd: 1 ch, 48 sc, sl st to join in the end (8 rows)

In the next row I suggest to make the hole for the tail. If you don’t want to do this, then in 16th-17th

rows just crochet 48 sc as in the previous rows.

16 rnd: 1 ch, 46 sc, 2 ch (skip 2 loop), sl st to join in the end (48)

17 rnd: 1 ch, 46 sc, 2 sc on the chain, sl st to join in the end (48)

18 rnd: 1 ch, 3 sc, dec, (6 sc, dec)*5, 3 sc, sl st to join in the end (42)

19 rnd: 2 ch, 42 dc, sl st to join in the end

20 rnd: 3 sl st, make chain 40 ch, insert the hook in the 16th loop and crochet 25 sl st, after that

crochet sl st in the same 3rd loop of the last overall’s row (it will be the 1st strap), 35 sl st, make chain 40

ch, insert the hook in the 16th loop and crochet 25 sl st, after that crochet sl st in the same loop of the last

overall’s row (it will be the 2nd strap), 4 sl st.

Fasten off, cut the yarn, hide the end of the thread. Sew the hole between the pants (I use the

same Alize thread). Sew the buttons. The overall is ready!

Scarf
Make chain 5 ch with red thread, insert the

hook in the 2nd loop from the hook.

Crochet in back-and-forth rows for the back

loops.

1-70 rnd: 1 ch, 4 sc

Cut the yarn, fasten off, hide the end .

STAINS. DESIGN OPTIONS

At your discretion, I offer 3 options for the design of giraffes in terms of stains on the body.

1. Leave the body without stains

2. Embroider the stains. I divided the brown thread Alize Cotton Gold and embroidered in 2 threads

out of 4

3. Sew the crochet stains

Crochet small stains according to the Crochet big stains according to the

scheme: scheme:
