Terminal Objective : At the end of the semester, Shane will be able to
demonstrate improvement in joint attention by
exhibiting sustained attention on toy/goal while
having an activity with Teacher.
Criterion : 80% correct responding in 3 consecutive
sessions

1. Exhibit joint attention. Exercise joint attention by doing
the following activities together:
1. Use a toy and play with
Shane.
2. After playing, instruct
Shane to put the toy back
in the basket.
Note: Start with instructing Shane
to put back a single toy in the
basket. As the sessions progress, 12 sessions
increase the number of toys or
items she will put back in the
basket. Do it until the objective is
achieved. Moreover, integrate
teaching joint attention in other
play activities.
