1. Of late it has been brought into the notice of the O/o the PCDA(O), Pune by a few
Army Officers that they are receiving frequent phone calls and emails asking for various personal
and other details related to their Claims, PTO & movement of Unit/ formations citing references of
PRO, PCDA (O) Pune.

2. The issue is serious & highly sensitive in nature. In this context, it is stated that O/o the
PCDA (O) Pune does not call up Army Officers for seeking any personal details over phone. Any
such phone calls /emails/SMS might be an attempt to fraudulently use the information provided by
Army Officers for their advantage by our adversaries or it may also be a case of cyber attack.

3. In view of above, all Army Officers are hereby advised to never respond to such
emails/phone calls and not to provide any personal or confidential information.
