ACTION PLAN

The analysis will involve the use of a regression so as to predict variables and explain the

dependent variable from the independent variables.

Data Preparation.

The preparation will begin by removing all the N/A values. The N/A values are present in the

Case study part 1. The final three prices for the top price were empty and since the top prices

have increased from the previous years the top prices were calculated by finding the average of

the previous three years.

The next preparation is in the Case study part 2 the dependent variable No of movies seen will be

moved to the first column.

The analytical tool that will been used for the analysis will be Microsoft Excel with the PH stat

Add in.

The regression model will be:

y=c+ ax 1+bx 2+dx 3+ex 4+ fx 5 … . .

The number of terms will be dependent on the number of variables.

The regression will have an analysis of variance, analysis of the standard error, P-Value and the

95% confidence interval test.
