As Japan, a nation deeply committed to peace and stability in the international

community, we stand deeply concerned by the ongoing conflict between Israel and
Palestine. This complex and longstanding issue continues to inflict suffering on
both sides, and its resolution remains a critical priority for the global
community.

For decades, Japan has consistently supported a two-state solution as the only
viable path towards lasting peace. We believe that both Israelis and Palestinians
deserve to live in security and dignity, within recognized and secure borders.

We urge both sides to exercise maximum restraint and avoid actions that could
further escalate tensions. We encourage them to return to the negotiating table and
engage in meaningful dialogue aimed at achieving a two-state solution.

Japan remains a committed partner in the region. We provide substantial

humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people, addressing their critical needs
in areas such as healthcare, education, and infrastructure development. We also
actively contribute to economic development initiatives throughout the region,
believing that prosperity can be a powerful driver for peace.

Japan recognizes that resolving the Israel-Palestine conflict requires the

collective efforts of the international community. We remain actively engaged in
multilateral forums and work closely with partners who share our commitment to
peace.

While the path ahead remains challenging, Japan maintains hope for a peaceful
future in the Middle East. We believe that through sustained commitment to
dialogue, compromise, and international cooperation, Israelis and Palestinians can
achieve a lasting and just peace.

We demand the deployment of UN peacekeeping forces to stabilise the situation

because we are extremely disturbed by the terrorist activities in the Middle East.
