Practical Research LP 6 15
Practical Research LP 6 15
Schedule: MTTHF
Date: November 6 and 7, 2023
Objectives At the end of the lesson, students are expected to: NOTES
a. Analyze if the research objective and scope and
delimitation of the study follows the correct format;
b. Make corrections; and
c. Discuss revisions.
Admission The teacher will ask the students to form a line
(5 minutes) before they get to enter the classroom.
The material person of each research group will get
the call cards on the teacher’s table and separate the
call cards of the absentees.
The students will be reminded to answer the posted
bell work every time they enter the classroom.
The teacher will set the mood with a prayer.
Bell Work Instruction: Each research group shall present their output
(5 minutes) for the research objective of the study.
Questions:
How closely related are the research objectives to
your identified research problem?
How well-defined and clear are your research
objectives?
Are the research objectives realistically achievable
within the scope of the study?
How does the scope and delimitation help the
reader understand the focus of your study?
How comprehensive is the scope of the research?
Does it cover all relevant aspects of the topic?

(5 minutes) for the significance of the study and definition of terms.
Questions:
Why is it important to know who can benefit your
study and how it can benefit them?
How do these operational definitions contribute to
the precision of your research?

Objectives At the end of the lesson, students are expected to: NOTES
a. Analyze the content and follow the format in
making a theoretical framework; and
b. Research and make a theoretical framework that is
relevant to your study.

Stem Question:
How does this principle align with the process of
constructing a theoretical framework in research,
where the goal is to gain a deep and insightful
understanding of the phenomena under
investigation?
Tip No. 1
1. Get the highly relevant theory to your study.
Tip No. 2
2. Do not copy everything.
Tip No. 3
3. Connect or justify the theory that you have
considered in your study.
Tip No. 4
4. Be sure that it is a theory and not a mere literature.
Format 1
5. Introduction of the theory and the theorist.
Format 2
6. Contents of the theory.
Format 3
7. Connection of theory.
TSS: Round robin
What are the tips in making a theoretical
framework?
What are the formats in making a theoretical
framework?
How does a theoretical framework enhance your
research understanding?
What is the foundational purpose of a theoretical
framework in research?
How does a theoretical framework guide the
overall research design?
Activity:
Instruction: Within your research group. Discuss and
answer the following questions. Read carefully the sample
theoretical framework in the given learning material.
Questions:
First Paragraph: What is the theory of your study and who
is the theorist?
Second Paragraph: What is the content of the theory?
Third Paragraph: What is the connection of your considered
theory to your current study?
Activity:
Instruction: Within your research group. Read a lot of
existing published studies and identify the theory that is
highly relevant to your research study. Follow the correct
format in making a theoretical framework.

Integration of Faith and Learning
In Proverbs 4:7 this verse underscores the value of wisdom and understanding,
which can be seen as aligning with the foundational principles behind constructing
a theoretical framework in research. A theoretical framework serves as the
intellectual foundation that guides the study, helping researchers to gain a deeper
understanding of the phenomena under investigation.
