APPLICATION FOR EXEMPTION OF THE PERSONAL APPEARANCE OF THE
ACCUSED NAMELY SURRESH BABU ATHRAMANGALAM SRINIVASAN
It is respectfully submitted as under:
1. That the above noted case is pending before this Hon’ble court and is now fixed for
06.04.2024.
2. That, the accused person is a law-abiding citizen.
3. That, the accused person could not mark his presence for the hearing on 06.04.2024 as
the accused person is suffering from Disc prolapsed due to which he could not travel such
a huge distance of 2500 km . Medical prescription is annexed as ENCLOSURE I
5. That it is further submitted that this Hon’ble Court vide order dated 16..1.2023 was
pleased to admit the accused applicant on bail on furnishing the surety tot he tune of Rs.
2,00,000/- 3 days before the next date of hearing. However, due to his medical condition,
the applicant accused was unable to comply with the said order and undertakes to furnish
the same on or before the next date of hearing.
7. That the absence of the accused is neither intentional nor deliberate but due to the
aforesaid bonafide reason.
8. It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that the personal appearance of the above-named
accused may kindly be exempted till the normal function of the Hon’ble Courts resumes
ex debito justitiae.
PRAYER
In view of the above stated facts and circumstances it is most respectfully prayed that this
Honorable Court may be pleased to
 a. Exempt the accused above named from personal appearance
b. Pass any other such order as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of
justice.
