Alex escorts the girls to their seats and take their orders.

INT. KATH’S HOUSE-BEDROOM. DAY.

KATH is vocalizing, hitting the highest notes she can hit, fixing herself.
fixing her hair, looking at the mirror checking for imperfections.

She continues to pose in front of the mirror.

Her mother walks in

KATH’S MOTHER
Baka naman mabasag na ang salamin kaka-pose mo diyan.

Kath turns around

Kath Turns to face the mirror again. AND NOW FIXES HER DRESS AND poses.

Her mother approaches her and hug her from the back, also facing the mirror.

K’S MOTHER

Kath’s accepts the embrace.

Mother, remember. Di kita iiwan katulad ng ginawa saten ni Papa. mananatili
akong inyong munting dalaga.

KATH’S MOTHER
Ligo-ligo din tayo ha, bago mag posing sa salamin, tanghali na oh.

Kath

She turns her head and faces her mother.

(CONT’D)

Grabbing her mother’s arms, she turns and turns her mother like a proncess.
Then faces her.

K’s mother
Oh siya, mag ayos ka na ng sarili mo, kung ayaw mo malate sa school
Her mother exits. And she continues to fix herslf.

INT. CLASSROOM. PAST NOON

The classroom was quiet though it is half full. KATH enters the room with her
best friends chit-chatting and laughing. They look for the best place and
seat there.

Teasing Jen. Kath and Cassie look at each other.

KATH AND CASSIE

The three laugh and continue to chat.

The professor enters the room.

and booth.

The class is intrigue.

Kath and her friends started to plan their agendas.

Students are exiting. KATH and JENNY are waiting for Cassie. Alex walks pass
them in a rush-on her phone, texting.

Kath said hey.

Alex faces them, Alex is confused and just continues to walk.

INT. KATH’S HOUSE-DINNING AREA. NIGHT
Kath and her mother are eating.

MOTHER

KATH
Okay naman po, may bago din kaming kaklase.

KATH remembers what happened. She answers.

(CONT’D)
Medyo weird siya or tahimik lang siguro.

MOTHER
Kaibiganin mo, kung bago lang siya, Maganda yung may nakaksalamuha kang bago.

KATH
So nag aamoy luma na ba sina cassie at jenny
Both laugh with nostalagia

Mother
Nanliligo pa kayp sa kanal magkakakilala na kayo. Para naman madagdagan ang
friends mo.

KATH
Naku mother di ko na kailangan ng bagong friends. Jowa na ang kailangan ko.

MOTHER
Mag aral muna bago yang mga love love na yan. distraction lang yan.

KATH
For inspiration nga po diba. Pampagana sa magana ko ng buhay.

MOTHER.

Kath answers sarcasticly

KATH

Ginagabayan lang kita dahil minsan ang ating mga kagustuhan ay imbis na
makabuti sa atin, ay mapasama pa tayo lalo.

KATH
May hugot na namna si mother. Yes mother. Alam ko naman yon. And maiba ako.
Saan ba nang gagaling mga hugot niyo naganito ma?

KATH teases her mother

MOTHER
Sinasabi ko lang yan kasi alam ko na makakabuti yan sayo.

Kath agrees ”okay”

INT. CAFETERIA. DAY

KATH enters the CAFETRIA and seats at a vacant chair. Alex is sitting across.

ALEX

Kath faces her then answers.

KATH

JENNY AND CASSIE then call for Kath’s attention.

CASSIE
So the about sa event how about mag jail booth nalang nga tayo?

KATH
Super common naman niyan what if photo booth?

An upbeat music suddenly blasts out of nowhere. The cafeteria crowd is going
wild and as the music gets loud the crowd opens and kath sees Alex dancing to
the music. They are in slow motion. As if they are the only people in the
cafeteria.
Spotlight the two. (tech)
(CONT’D)
Swabe naman yan
The music was fading, and there, they see each other’s eyes again. As if they
are talking with only their eyes.

they notice they are looking at each other again and reality hits them.

Kath rushes to exit the cafeteria.

CUT TO:
EXT. HALLWAY. DAY.
KATH is walking, confuse and some butterflies in her stomach. She bumped into
alex. And kath slipped and fell

And there it is the feeling.

Spotlight the two. (tech)
ALEX extending her arm to KATH.

ALEX

KATH gasps

INT. KATH’S HOUSE-LIVING AREA. DAY
KATH enters and introduces Alex to her mother.

KATH

K’S MOTHER

K’S mother looks at alex

MA siya yung sinabi ko sayo na bago naming classmate.

K’S MOTHER

Kath can’t take his mother. Alex is entertained by kath and her mother

Punta na lang po kami sa kwarto mag gagawa lang po ng school works

K’S MOTHER
Sige. Pero kakain na din tayo mga mamaya-maya

INT. KATH’S HOUSE-BEDROOM. NIGHT

THEY ENTER THE ROOM. As Kath closes the door and turns to Alex. ALEX teases
Kath

ALEX
Ah werdo pala ha

KATH
Well first day palang naman yun. First impression.

Kath roams the room and removes her jacket. Alex stares at kath. KATH sits at
her bed

(CONT’D)
Umupo ka kaya dito
Alex nervous. She sits.

ALEX
Cut niyo ng mother mo

KATH
Well kami nalang din kasi mag kaagapay kaya super close namin

ALEX
So parehas pala tayo. Pero ibang usapin na yun

Kath place her hand to alex’s thigh

ALEX looks at kath’s hand and then look at her eyes. And music suddenly
surround the two. Alex grabs her hand and lead her to a slow dance.

They dance, twirls and feel each other’s emotions.

And before the situation settles kath’s mothers knocks and calls for dinner

K’s mother
Kakain na nak

They remove each other’s grasp and exits the room awkwardly.

CUT TO:
EXT. CAMPUS GROUNDS. DAY
KATH and her besties are wearing their best outfits. They are in their booth
and people are crowding it. While the ceremony is being held at the side of
the booth
 JENNY
Kalma maiikasal kayong lahat.

Crowds are piling up and making a huge noise.

(CONT’D)
See I’m so smart

Hair flip and fixes her pretend glasses

KATH
Well….

Kath notices she forgot her glasses and

(CONT’D)
Hala na iwan ko pala glasses ko

The pretend priest announces the new couple.

CASSIE
Okay, for our next wedding, we have…

Cassie pauses, and read again the name in her mind

(CONT’D)
We have alex and…

KATH
And?

CASSIE looks at Kath. Kath’s confuse.

And a voice appears speaks behind Kath.

ALEX
HI
KATH turns around

KATH

Alex reached for Kath’s hands

ALEX
WILL you marry me?

KATH
YES

Alex bring her to the ceremonial area and the priest Sagawa the wedding. Alex
fixes her clothes .
The wedding ended.

PRIEST
You may now kiss your bride.
AND as they kiss a shattered glass blasted from nowhere.
THE crownd turn to find where the sound came from.

Kath and Alex turn around too and they see kath’s mother. Face of
disappointment and heart broken.

Kath approaches her mother. Alex follows her.

KATH
Mag papaliwanag ako ma.

Kath’s mother can’t believe what she witnessed.

(CONT’D)
Ma. alam ko sabi ko, tatagtagin ko muna sa isip ko ang mga ganitong bagay.

MOTHER
Akala ko din

KATH
Galit ba kayo?

MOTHER
Sinuway mo ako. Ano ba dapat ang magiging reaksyon ko. at hindi mo lang ako
basta sinuway. Nak, si ALEX yan kaibigan mo yan, na ‘bababe”.

DEEP BREATHS
(CONT’D)
Kelan mo pa nalaman

KATH
Naramdaman ko lang ma

K’S MOHER STARES ATHER DAIUGHTER

MOTHER
Tama nga ang papa mo, parehas lang tayo.

KATH
Ma?

MOTHER
Hindi pa din ako makapaniwala. ALL THIS TIME nag sisinungaling kayo saken.

KATH
MA hindi ganun.

MOTHER
Kaya ba kayo lagi nasa kwarto mo. Ano ginagawa niyo dun? Nak hindi lahat ng
kagustuhan ay dapat sinusunod dahil hind lahat nakakabuti sa atin. Nak, si
alex yan. Si alex yan.

KATH
Ma hindi ko din agad nalaman na gutso ko siya. Ngayon lang and dahil laging
kong nararamdaman yung feeling.
 MOTHER
Hindi lahat ng kagu-
