1.1. Background
Jafurah gas plant expansion-gas processing facility will expand the raw gas
capacity to 3.2 BSCFD raw gas total capacity, by adding 2.1 BSCFD raw gas
processing capacity. This Plant will include two (2) parallel trains (Trains 3/4),
each with a raw gas feed flowrate of 1057 MMSCFD and feed condensate
capacity of 234 std MBD per train.
Jafurah gas plant expansion-gas processing facility will expand the raw gas
capacity to 3.2 BSCFD raw gas total capacity, by adding 2.1 BSCFD raw gas
processing capacity. The objective is to complete this project mechanically
within the targeted schedule and budget, as per Aramco’s defined quality and
safety norms.
For more details refer to GES+ SOW and Project Scoping Paper.
The LLI workshop was conducted on the 6th of March 2024 for Jafurah Gas Plant
Expansion – Gas Processing Facilities at Detailed Design Phase. The session reviewed
lessons applicable based on cost and schedule impact. The workshop involved examining
the project scope using different areas of focus, emphasizing items with significant
impact and urgency, to develop preventive actions and avoidance strategies. The team
captured applicable lessons in the implementation worksheet (Appendix A).
