SESSION GUIDE

Session 9: Finalization of GAD-based iC CEBU Lesson Exemplars

Duration of 2 hours
Session

Key  The Lesson Exemplar Evaluation Tool helps the teachers to assess
Understandings lesson exemplars for the improvement of their teaching practices,
to be developed and to develop strong reflective habits to meet the needs of the
learners.
 The Lesson Exemplar Tool includes the following:
Lesson Exemplar Information, Content, Learning Context,
Teaching Learning Strategies, Assessment /Evaluation and
Learning Enablement.

Learning At the end of the session, the participants are expected to:
Objectives ●discuss the key features of the Lesson Exemplar Evaluation
Tool;
●assess the crafted GAD-based iC CEBU Lesson Exemplars
using the Lesson Exemplar Evaluation Tool; and
●exhibit teamwork in refining the GAD-based iC CEBU lesson
exemplars.

Activity Proper Individual Activity: Self Evaluation


(40 minutes) NOTE: Using the GAD -based iC CEBU Lesson Exemplar,
assess it using the Evaluation Tool.

Analysis ASK:
(10 minutes) 1. How did you feel doing the activity?
2. What made it easy?
3. What made it difficult?
4. What new insights have you gained?
5. What other suggestions can you give for the improvement of
the lesson exemplar?
Possible Answer:
1. I felt happy, excited, surprised, amazed, challenged
2. It was easy because our group followed the instructions given
and worked collaboratively.
3. It was difficult due to the limited time given. (Answers may vary.)
4. It was very possible that we could integrate one lesson into
different learning areas. (Answers may vary.)
5. In making the lesson exemplar we have to consider the time
allotted, congruency and alignment of the activities to the
objectives. (Answers may vary.)
Abstraction/ NOTE: Using slide decks, discuss the key points of the GAD-based iC
Generalization CEBU Lesson Exemplar Evaluation Tool.
(20 minutes)

Application SAY:
( 40 minutes) ● Based on the results of the evaluation, refine the lesson
exemplar.
● Submit the refined copy of the lesson exemplars to the Personnel
Management Team .
