Budhanilkantha School, known for its academic excellence and cultural enrichment

celebrated its 51st School Day. The event, held on the auspicious date of 6th
Falgun, 2080 was a great success.

With a respected Member of the Provincial Assembly as the Chief Guest, the program
of the grand program of the school day turned out to be more anticipated. Different
departments showcased their talents with interesting displays.
The physics department showcased a variety of fascinating experiments that excited
the audience. Among the highlights were the impressive Tesla Coil, demonstrating
the wonders of electricity, and the Levitating Ball, which illustrated magnetic
principles in action. Additionally, visitors were fascinated by exhibits such as
the Soil pH Value Detector, which revealed and showcased details related to the pH
of the soil. Additionally, the prototype of the Anti-Thief Laser Security System
showcased, taught about the practical applications of light. These engaging
displays not only entertained but also educated attendees about the fascinating
world of physics and its relevance in our daily lives.

The Biology department drew a significant crowd(most crowd) with its engaging
exhibitions. Attendees were particularly fascinated and attracted by the BMI
calculator, blood group identification station, and oxygen level measurement tools
where every attendee was provided with their blood group and oxygen levels. The
terrarium display also grabbed the attention, which offered valuable insights into
ecosystems and biodiversity in a captivating manner.

The Chemistry department showcased diverse experiments. Visitors witnessed a Copper


to gold experiment, Electroplating demonstration, and Anion cation displays. They
were also amazed by the color-changing properties of transitional metals through
oxidation/reduction. Additionally, an experiment highlighting the importance of
handwashing was also showcased which provided the practical knowledge of chemistry
in day-to-day life.

Moreover, the Maths Club delighted the audience with different exhibits including
the Abacus, Mobius strip, and demonstrations on Polar Coordinates. These displays
showcased the practical applications of mathematical concepts, sparking curiosity
and appreciation for the subject among visitors.

The integral school day program included captivating performances like dance, flute
melodies, and different sort of music featuring traditional instruments like the
madal and violin. These cultural displays showcased the school's diverse talents.

School honored subject toppers from grades 5-9, 11, and A1, along with top scorers
in SEE, AS, A level, and NEB examinations. Additionally, teachers received
recognition with awards for long service and outstanding performance during the
School Day, highlighting academic excellence and dedication within the institution.
