 The teacher is neat and well-groomed.
 The teacher is free from mannerism that tends to disturb the student’s attention.

 The teacher has a well-modulated voice.
II. LESSON PLANNING (20%)
 Lesson plan is well-prepared.
 There is congruence between:
 Objectives and subject matter
 Objectives and teaching procedure
 Objectives and formative test
 Objectives and assignment
 Has clearly stated learning objectives based on the curriculum guide.
 Has a SMART objective.
 Lesson exemplar has clear and logical format.
 Lesson exemplar executes seamless flow and narrative.
III. CONTENT (20%)
 The teacher demonstrates in depth knowledge of the subject matter.
 He/she is able to relate lessons to actual life situations.
 Keeps abreast of new ideas and understanding in the field.
 Gives sufficient and concrete examples to create meaningful learning experience.
IV. TEACHING METHODS (25%)
 Method/s used was/were suited to the needs and capabilities of the students.
 The teacher was creative enough to adapt his/her method to the students’
capabilities.
 Visual aids and other examples were used to illustrate the lesson.
 The teacher made effective use of formative test after teaching.

VI. QUESTIONING SKILLS (15%)

 promote risk-taking and problem-solving
 facilitate factual recall
 encourage convergent and divergent thinking
 stimulate curiosity
