Mr. F has been diagnosed with an Acute Coronary Syndrome, extensive anterior ST
elevation myocardial infarction (extensive anterior STEMI), Killip I
The ECG indicates that Mr. F should be treated urgently with a view to reperfusion
therapy. The cardiologist has decided to take Mr. F to the cardiac catheterization laboratory
(cath lab) to undergo a primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).
The patient was transferred to the cath lab for primary PCI which revealed total occlusion of
the proximal LAD. He got 1 stent at proximal LAD artery.
