Throwing and Catching:
To develop the students throwing and catching skills, provide them
with a variety of suitable items for practice, such as a small chiffon
scarf, beanbag, balls of different sizes, a small soft toy, balled-up
socks, and a shuttlecock. Explain to the students that they will be
engaging in activities to enhance their throwing and catching
abilities. Offer some coaching tips to assist them in their practice:
Encourage them to throw the objects up in front of their face rather
than away from their body, promoting better control and accuracy
in their throws.
Guide them to position their hands in good shape to catch the
object as it descends, ensuring they are prepared to catch it
confidently and securely.
Closer:
Hoop Avoidance: Hoops are set up around the gym, and players must skill fully avoid both the hoops and other participants
while moving around the space, promoting spatial awareness and quick decision-making.
Resources: Scarf, Bean bags, Balls of varied, sizes
