Today, I'm going to talk about Dwayne Johnson, also known as "The
Rock".

Dwayne Johnson was born on May 2, 1972, in Hayward, California, USA. His full name is
Dwayne Douglas Johnson. His father, Rocky Johnson, was a professional wrestler, and his
mother was a writer named Ata Maivia.

He began playing football at Bethlehem High School, one of the most competitive schools in
the country. Before receiving many invitations to play for universities, he chose the University
of Miami, where he became a member of the football team. In 1991, he won the National
Championship with the Miami Hurricanes. However, in 1995, he left the team due to a back
injury. That same year, he graduated with a degree in Criminology and Physiology.

In 1996, he decided to pursue a career in professional wrestling. As the grandson of Peter

Maivia and the son of Rocky Johnson, he initially competed under the name Rock Maivia, but
later adopted the moniker "The Rock". During his time in WWE, he won a total of 17
championships.

As a fighter, he achieved a lot of popularity and was invited to participate in “The Mumy
Returns” but was just after “The Scorpion King”, that he afirmate as an actor.

Dwayne Johnson has 3 daughters Taiana Gia, Jasmine and Simonne Alexandra, actually he is
married to Lauren Hashian

Also, Dwayne Johnson started his own company called Seven Bucks Productions and made his
own brands like Project Rock clothes and Teremana tequila.
