What is the purpose of the penalty arc?

The purpose of the penalty arc is to define the area from which goal kicks are taken.

The qualified in 1986. At the World Cup, Canada faced France, Hungary and the Soviet Union and ended
the tournament with three losses and without having scored a single goal.

position did they finish?

In 2016, 2017 and 2018, the Canada women’s soccer team had their best result which was 4 th place.
