Analysis
In Part 1 of this exercise, you will use the roadmap to review an example of Prepare phase
activities and drill down to Project Governance.
You are viewing the content of one SAP roadmap. On the left side of the page, Under
Workstreams, be sure the check boxes are marked for Customer Team Enablement and Project
Management.
On the right side of the page are several branches that go to activities for the Prepare stage. Read
through these. Click each Prepare branch to investigate.
In Part 2 of this exercise, you will review two possible solutions for different stakeholders.
Remember the factory manager from the video who valued flexibility? Access this link and read
over a possible solution for this type of stakeholder.
Remember the accounting stakeholder who valued legal compliance? Access this link and read
over a possible solution for this type of stakeholder.

After reading the following scenario, discuss how you might identify your
customer's pain points and close the delta. You are welcome to search the
internet for clues about business pain points – a wealth of information is
available.
You are working with a locally owned, neighborhood, full-service retail grocery
store. In addition to groceries, they have a butcher block, deli, and bakery. The
store's sales and inventory processes are not automated, and they have no way
of tracking sales. They manually count their inventory, and if an item is not on
the shelf, they log onto the vendor's website and order it.
