I take this opportunity to acknowledge all the support and guidance received
from various sectors without which this project would not have been completed
and meaningful. I would like to particularly thanks Mrs. Neha our faculty
member for their perpetual guidance and suggestions. I hereby declare that the
major project work being presented in the title “Comparative Analysis of Jio
and Airtel in the Telecommunications Industry” submitted in SBA department
of Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology [BPIT], IPU, in the authentic
work carried out by me under the guidance of Mrs. Neha, professor, SBA,
BPIT.
Synopsis:
The project aims to conduct an in-depth comparative analysis of two major players in the
Indian telecommunications industry, namely Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel. The study will
focus on various aspects such as network infrastructure, services offered, market share,
financial performance, customer satisfaction, and technological innovations to provide a
comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape.

The research will employ a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, including:
Data collection from official reports, financial statements, and regulatory sources.
Surveys and interviews with customers to gather insights into their preferences and
experiences.
Comparative analysis of pricing models, promotional strategies, and service
portfolios.
Expected Outcomes:
The project aims to provide a comprehensive comparative analysis that will contribute
valuable insights into the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by Jio and
Airtel in the highly competitive telecommunications market. The findings will be presented
in a detailed report, offering stakeholders, industry experts, and the general public a better
understanding of the dynamics between these two major telecom operators.
