"Narrative Report

On December 16, 2023, a Photo Exhibit was held at Jamiatul Philippine Al-Islamia organized by
the 3rd-year college students taking BSSW, as part of their requirements in SW11 - SW
Communication and Documentation.

The theme of our Photo Exhibit was "Digital Narratives: Unveiling the Gen Z Story." It explored
the unique experiences, perspectives, and stories of Generation Z (Gen Z) through the lens of
digital media and technology. This theme aimed to capture and showcase the ways in which Gen
Z, typically defined as individuals born between the mid-1990s and early 2010s, navigate the
digital landscape and engage with various digital platforms to express themselves.

Before the event, we cleaned up the venue for our Photo Exhibit. Johary Sunggod and Saaminah
Saripada volunteered to paste the newspaper on the higher level of the wall. Raquesah Aratoc,
Tahema Dida-agun, and Ainie Sominangcad were the ones putting the double-sided tape on the
newspaper. Sohaya Saidamen, Asrifah Pundogar, and Wahida Dida-agun were the ones assisting
Johary and Saaminah in pasting the newspaper on the wall.

Later, some classmates arrived. Alfarah Omar and Mofedah Manalundong took the lead in
creating the Photo Booth, assisted by Norhanah Taher, Sahara Jalil, Esnihaya Cairoden, and Sittie
Nor Asminah H. Yasser.

Then, more classmates arrived: Raifah Dalomangcob, Yasmin Arafat, Arabely Amil, Nailah Camad,
Raimah Cali, Sittie Aisha Cosain, and Aljomen Sangcopan. They helped with other parts of the
photo exhibit that had not yet been finished.

During the event, in the early morning at 7 AM, we completed some of the unfinished tasks at
the venue. Around 8:30 AM, we were all finished and ready, just waiting for the participants or
audience to arrive. At 9:30 AM, Ma'am Rama arrived at the venue of our Photo Exhibit, but there
were still no audience or participants.

We had our meeting first to remind everyone of the tasks they were assigned to. The program
flow was not able to be followed due to some issues that were not addressed promptly. The
audience we had included Criminology Students, Second-year BSSW Students, Senior High School
Students, and First-year BSSW Students from the campus. Additionally, some friends of our
classmates also visited our Photo Exhibit.

We finished the event around 11:40 AM, so we wrapped up early. The students who were not
able to help yesterday in preparing the event were able to assist with the cleaning today. They
were Japar Salong, Alfahad Diso, AbdulNasheef Domaraya, and Rofaisah H. Jamel.

Nevertheless, the event went well. We have pictures and documentation for our requirement to
Ma'am Rama."
