Kelsie explains the expectations of each assessment, classwork, and their behavior in general throughtout the building. She has
established a transition time for students. Kelsie times students when they are changing subjects, lining up to travel somewhere in the
building. The kids loved it, because now it has become a contest to see if they can beat thier times and they get on each other for not
doing what they are suppose to be doing. It has a positive in our class. Kelsie has also established the scratch paper bucket. Students
earn pieces of scratch paper for doing good deeds, being kind, and showing thier work for math. They put their names on the paper and
put it into a bucket. At the end of the week, 5 names are drawn and the studetns earn a prize or homework passes. The kids love this
too. Kelsie is always thinking up ways to encourage good work and good behavior.
