Many of those who earn a degree in Entrepreneurship or any business-related

course do start their own businesses. However, for some who do not want to start
their own company at all or at least not quite yet, there are other career options to
pursue where they can still apply their learning about entrepreneurship. The
possible options include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Business Manager: He/She is involved in planning, directing, and overseeing

the business operations as well as supervising the work of employees.
2. Corporate Recruiter: He/She helps corporate firms in locating, researching for
job-matching, interviewing, and hiring employees.
3. Human Resource Manager: He/She supervises aspects of employee relations
and professional development.
4. Management Analyst: He/She evaluates operating procedures and makes
recommendations based on findings.
5. Not-for-profit Fundraiser: Understanding the importance of business
management and networking relationships is needed to be able to raise funds.
6. Teacher: He/She can teach a core competency (like applied math) but teach
students the entrepreneurial side (like the benefits of math to business).
7. Research and Development (R&D). Deep knowledge of business concepts,
company procedures, management practices, market trends and forecasting
is needed to work in R&D.

Question:
Can you think of other career opportunities enhanced by solid knowledge in
Entrepreneurship? Give two and describe how training and education in
Entrepreneurship is applied in that career.
