Worksheet 9.3
Correcting the passage
The passage contains some mistakes. Copy the passage, correcting the mistakes.
Underline any corrections that you make.

A bar magnet has two poles: a north pole and a north pole. A bar magnet is surrounded by an
electric field. You can draw the shape of this field by using lines that point from south to north.
The lines should always cross over each other.

If you wrap a core of wire around an iron nail, you can make a permanent magnet.
Water must flow through the wire to make the nail magnetic. When this happens,
the nail will repel paperclips.
