HUZOOR TAAJUSH SHARIAH IS INDEED
‘A SAINTLY PERSONALITY’
Ja-Nasheen e Huzoor e Sadrush Shariah, Huzoor Sayyidi Muhad’dith e Kabeer
Hazrat Allama Ash Shah Mufti Zia ul Mustafa Qadri Amjadi Qibla
﷽
ﻧﺤﻤﺪہ و ﺼي ﻋي رﺳﻮﻟہ اﻳﻢ ۔ اﻣﺎ ﻌﺪ
Huzoor Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis, indeed, a Saintly Personality. In fact, it
should be said that Huzoor Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہwas the True
Inheritor to the sciences of knowledge, the blessings and the
benedictions of Huzoor Sayyiduna Aala Hazrat Mujad’did e Deen o
Millat ر ضی الہ ضنہ, and in distributing these blessings and benedictions, he
was a unique Fountain of Blessings.
The sight of Hazrat e Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہreached those in-depth
intricacies of knowledge, erudition, Fiqh, Ifta and other sciences of
Ilm e Deen, which others are unable to reach or grasp. Such was his
focus and alertness. He also held a distinct position in his era, when it
came to Na’at Compositions. After listening to his Na’atiya Kalaams,
one is left in a state of suspense, feeling that this is either a certain
Kalaam of Sayyiduna Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہor the Na’at Composition of
Huzoor Sarkaar e Mufti e Azam ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
It is the Grace of Allah, that his Na’at Collection has already been
published. However, there are also many Kalaams which he
composed even after the publication of his Na’at Collection. My
deeply revered and respected beloved, Hazrat Maulana Mufti Afthab
Cassim, who resides in Durban, South Africa, has presented the
explanations and interpretations to some of the couplets from the
Collection of Huzoor Taajush Shariah’s Na’atiya Kalaams, and he
7
intends to launch this publication on the upcoming Shab e Bara-at.
May Almighty Allah accept his efforts. Maulana Afthab Cassim is well-
known as a great guide of Deen and as a steadfast and very powerful
preacher of Maslak e Aala Hazrat in his region, and he is also
successful in this service of his. We have trust and confidence in him.
Allah accept this effort of his, and bless him with futher Divine
Guidance towards further research and pursuit, and may He bless
him with bliss in this world and in the hereafter, and may Almighty
Allah bless us with His Mercy as well.

BLESSED WORDS OF INSPIRATION
FROM THE ISLAMIC CHIEF JUSTICE OF INDIA
Huzoor Sayyidi Qaa’id e Millat Ja-Nasheen e Huzoor Taajush Shariah,
Hazrat Allama Mufti Asjad Raza Khan Qaadiri Qibla
﷽
ﻧﺤﻤﺪہ و ﺼي ﻋي رﺳﻮﻟہ اﻳﻢ
You have before you the book ’50 RAYS OF LUMINOSITY FROM
SAYYIDI TAAJUSH SHARIAH’S POETRY’ which has been compiled by
my dear Maulana Afthab Cassim Qaadiri Razvi Noori of Durban, South
Africa, who is the Mureed, Khalifa and Wakeel of my Noble Father,
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
In doing so, he has added another important literary work to the list
of works which he has done in the love of Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush
Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ. I request all of you to read through this entire book and
to pay special attention to the points of Aqaa’id and the refutation of
Sulhe Kul’liyat which have been mentioned in the book.
9
Also carefully read the closing article in the book which is a very
important discussion on the grand position of Sayyiduna Aala Hazrat
Azeemul Barkat ر ضی الہ ضنہas the ‘The Sign of Recognition of The Deen’.
He has also included a poem at the end of the book called ‘Taajush
Shariah’s Poetry’ which summarises the beauty and eloquence of the
Na’atiya Kalaams of Huzoor Waalid e Giraami Sayyidi Taajush Shariah
ر ضی الہ ننہ. Indeed Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah lived in the Love of Nabi
Regarding His Beloved Devotee Who Passed Away, Earlier That Night,
What Are The Heavenly Servants & Maidens Whispering In Delight

A CONCISE COMMENTARY OF FIFTY COUPLETS FROM THE
SAFINA E BAKHSHISH OF SAYYIDI TAAJUSH SHARIAH
Hazrat Maulana Muhammad Shakeel Saaheb Qaadiri Ridawi Qibla (U.K.)
Founder & Head of Zia e Akhtar Islamic Academy
Issues such as these have been spoken about by our elders for years,
Huzur Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہalso speaks about this and other such
issues in many of his couplets about sticking to the righteous Ulama
who warn and guide towards the path of truth.
11
We live in a time where without doubt Hadrat Mufti Afthab Cassim
Saahib is amongst those who warn and guide towards the path of
truth. When many celebrity scholars said we are only Muslims, when
some said we are only Sunni and nothing more, when others
objected to being known as Qaadiri, Bareilvi or Razawi this Mard e
Mujahid is heard proclaiming “Maiñ Qaadiri Hooñ, Maiñ Qaadiri
Hooñ” and at times saying “Hai Shukr e Khuda, Maiñ Razawi Hooñ
Sunni Hooñ, Bareilvi Hooñ“.
12
‘A RADIANT LAMP OF PROPHETIC PRAISE'
Hazrat Allama Maulana Mufti Quaiser Ali Razvi Misbahi Qibla
Head Mufti, Amjadi Darul Ifta, Masjid e Khalid, Durban, South Africa
Murshid e Kareem Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah یی ہ رہis that brilliant
personality, who needs no introduction. We all know that Hazrat یی ہ رہ
spent his entire life in the service of the Madhab and the Maslak.
He inherited such a vast share of the true and profound Love for
Beloved Mustafa ﷺthat he continuously distributed this Love
throughout his blessed life, which did not decrease in any way.
Rather, this love constantly increased as the days went by.
13
In other words, it would not be misplaced to say that, in the Sacred
and Religious Sciences, Murshid e Kareem Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush
Shariah یی ہ رہwas the Radiant Reflection and Splendid Manifestation of
his Noble Forefather, Imam e Ahle Sunnat Sayyidi Huzoor Aala Hazrat
Imam Ahmed Raza Khan ر ضی الہ ننہ.
The Na’ats written by him are a reflection of the fact that he wished
to enlighten and enrich every Sunni Sahih ul Aqida Muslim with the
exquisiteness and the sweetness of the Pure Love for The Beloved
Rasool ﷺ. In brief, his poetry splendidly manifested
the use of figures of speech, such as metaphors and similes, while
incorporating quotations filled with eloquence and pure rhetoric.
14
It is not an easy undertaking to present an ad-lib and spontaneous
interpretation and explanation of the ‘Na’atiya Couplets’ of Murshid
e Kareem Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah یی ہ رہ. However, when
Almighty Allah showers His Divine Grace upon someone, then
nothing is impossible.
15
In brief, I must say that when you read from the depths of your heart,
the exemplary interpretations and explanations in the light of the
Qur’an and Hadith, of the Pure Spiritual Poetry, in other words, the
thoughts and the couplets of Murshid e Kareem Huzoor Sayyidi
Taajush Shariah یی ہ رہas presented by Huzoor Afthab e Millat Saaheb
Qibla, you will realise that Huzoor Afthab e Millat Saaheb Qibla has
accomplished this task after making an immense effort. The effort
and hard work which he has put into this book is evident from every
page.
When one looks at the life of Huzoor Afthab e Millat, and when one
observes how immensely busy and occupied he is, you will realise
that his aim and objective is to propagate and spread the thoughts
and the ideology of ‘Raza’ on an international level, and to cause the
minds and the thoughts of the people to be perfumed with the
beautiful fragrance of Raza’s Knowledge.

Saaheb Qibla, his Respected Father had taken very ill and is currently
in hospital. Hazrat Maulana Shakeel Saaheb was also unwell
afterwards, but he still completed the work and wrote some blessed
words, even though I asked him not to exert himself. This is a true
sign of his sincerity and his zest to serve the Deen. Allah grant Shifa to
his Respected Father and to him as well. Aameen. I must also
sincerely thank and acknowledge the support and efforts of Hazrat
Allama Maulana Mufti Quaiser Ali Razvi Misbahi, the Founder and

through the Wasila of Nabi Kareem ﷺkeeps us all steadfast on
Maslak e Aala Hazrat and saves us from the fitna of the deviants,
especially from the strife of the Sulhe Kullis (the agents of unholy
unity). Aameen. I pray through the Sadqa of Nabi Kareem ﷺthat
Almighty Allah grants all our Masha’ikh especially Huzoor Sayyidi

THE FIRST RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽
ت ببن ن ن
و نن ھم با نان ی ینوم ّ یدننن، و ٓہ و ببہ رام ا بن نین،دہ ونّی و م ی روہ ییرم
Attempted Explanation: I must say that Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
was indeed totally absorbed in the love of Almighty Allah and His
Beloved Rasool ﷺand this was visible throughout his life, in his final
moments on this earth and after his Wisaal. We can sense this deep
love which he possessed, even after he has journeyed from this
physical world.
24
One should keep in mind throughout this book that the couplets are
translated in a poetic format and are in an explanatory sense, and
that poetry can be explained in many ways and each couplet holds
numerous interpretations, based on the one who is interpreting it.
This could be understood in two ways; The first being that this was
written close to the time when Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
had lost his physical worldly vision by Allah's Will. So, in the apparent
sense he is asking for his sight to be returned and restored.
However, if one looks at the second line of this couplet, one will
notice that his request and his plea is more spiritual, and he is asking
for a special illumination and radiance in his eyes from Sayyiduna
Rasoolullah ﷺ.
Here, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis referring to Rasoolullah ﷺas
Shamsud Duhaa, in other words, ‘The Glowing Sun of Illumination’,
meaning, the morning sun which removes darkness.
25
In making this plea, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis also showing the
Aqida of the Ahle Sunnat, that we believe in asking from
Rasoolullah ﷺ, even if it is for restoring our vision or for anything
else, for to ask from Him ﷺis to ask from Almighty Allah.
Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہthen says that in the heat and intensity
of my sorrows, shade me with Your Sacred Zulf e Mubaarak, Ya
Rasool’Allah ﷺ.
It can also mean that Ya Rasool’Allah !ﷺWhen I get to see You ﷺon
the Day of Hashr (Resurrection), may my eyes be glowing and ready
for this blessed moment, and when all are in a state of apprehension
and fear on that day, and when the sun on that day is intense and
right above us, then, O Glowing Sun of Illumination ﷺ, Protect and
Shade me and all those who truly love You, in the Shade of Your Zulf
e Mubaarak (i.e. Sacred Hair).
As this juncture, I must say that Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
was indeed blessed with what he requested from the Sacred Court of
Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ, for his sight had become so powerful that
while sitting in Bareilly Shareef, he observed the condition of the
hearts of his Mureeds and those who truly loved him throughout the
world. Till this day, I believe that with his sight of Wilaayat he sees us
and blesses us daily.
26
THE SECOND RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽
ت ببن ن ن
و نن ھم با نان ی ینوم ّ یدننن، و ٓہ و ببہ رام ا بن نین،دہ ونّی و م ی روہ ییرم
27
Here, it must be noted that this blessing which Huzoor Sayyidi
Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis acknowledging and which he is so proud to
announce, is that Special Blessing of Sarkaar e Ghareeb Nawaaz ر ضی الہ ضنہ
which he has received through the connection of his Grand
Forefathers and his Masha’ikh to Sultan ul Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہ, for indeed the
connection of the Masha’ikh of Bareilly Shareef to Hazrat Sarkaar
Khwaja Ghareeb Nawaaz ر ضی الہ ننہis a very powerful and uninterrupted
connection, because this connection is through the Blessings of
Sarkaar e Baghdad, Hazrat Sayyiduna Shaykh Abdul Qaadir Jilani ر ضی الہ ضنہ
who appointed Hazrat Khwaja Ghareeb Nawaaz ر ضی الہ ضنہas The King of
India.
In the second line of this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
is relating to the first line and in doing so, he is saying, O Akhtar! Such
are the Blessings which you have received through your Masha'ikh
from Khwaja e Ajmeri ر ضی الہ ننہthat your star of destiny is glowing brightly
in the world. Now, this was the apparent sense and interpretation of
this couplet.
After mentioning the apparent sense of this couplet, I must say that
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis indeed glowing in the eyes of
the people today, through the Special Blessings of Sultan ul Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
28
From this, I have understood that this is not only in the apparent
sense, but it is in the spiritual sense as well, because this is that
Exalted Galaxy wherein the Blessings of Sultan ul Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہis being
granted to the Chosen Stars.
In other words, this Burj e Rif'at in the spiritual sense is the Galaxy of
Wilaayat and since Sultan ul Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہis the King of the Awliya in
India, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہhas been blessed with such
blessings by Huzoor Khwaja e Paak ر ضی الہ ضنہthat his star of fate and
destiny is not only glowing in the physical world, but it is shining
brightly in the Spiritual World as well, and this is because the King of
Saints in Hind, Sarkaar Ghareeb Nawaaz ر ضی الہ ضنہhas accepted
and included Huzoor Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہin the Galaxy of the Awliya
of Hind and hence Huzoor Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis not only glowing in
Hind, but he is glowing throughout the world, for indeed he is now
that star, who is glowing in the Galaxy of the Stars of Wilaayat.
So, through the Blessings of Huzoor Khwaja e Paak ر ضی الہ ضنہI have also
understood that our Murshid e Kareem Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
is humbling himself in the Court of Sultan ul Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہ, and thus we
are seeing that he is not only Akhtar e Burj e Rif'at in the apparent
sense but through the Spiritual Grant of Sultan ul Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہhe is also
Akhtar e Burj e Wilaayat.
29
THE THIRD RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽
ت ببن ن ن
و نن ھم با نان ی ینوم ّ یدننن، و ٓہ و ببہ رام ا بن نین،دہ ونّی و م ی روہ ییرم
In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us that
this life which we have has a very special significance and it is not
something which should be taken lightly. He is explaining in the first
line that this life is not for anyone else, and in the second line he tells
us what he means by this. In other words, he is telling us that today,
30
people waste their lives sinning and in the love of the world, and
people have become so lost in the love of this world, that they have
started to think that this life was given to them so that they may only
enjoy the pleasures of this world.
Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis thus telling us that, this life was not
given to us for this reason, but it was given to us, for the sake of the
Beloved Nabi ﷺ, and he is also telling us that this life which has been
given to us by Almighty Allah, belongs to the Beloved Nabi ﷺ.
Today, there are people who for the sake of the world, compromise
their Deen and befriend the deviants, because they want to please
their business partners, bosses or their associates etc., but they
should understand that this life which we have is not for anyone else,
but it is for the Beloved Rasool ﷺand the love of the Beloved
Nabi ﷺis paramount, and thus this love should never be
compromised, for we are what we are, because of the Beloved
Nabi ﷺ.
In a way, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis also manifesting the words of
his blessed forefather and the Imam of the Ahle Sunnat Sayyidi Aala
Hazrat Ash Shah Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Qaadiri Barakaati ر ضی الہ ضنہin
this couplet. Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam e Ahle Sunnat Ash Shah Imam
Ahmed Raza Khan ر ضی الہ ضنہsays,
31
We Have Come Here Indeed, For You, My King
In The Hereafter As Well, For You We Will Be Rising
So, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis conveying to us this very
same message of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہ. In other words, we were
granted this life so that we may live our lives in accordance with the
Sunnah of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis explaining that we have arrived in this
world so that we may be tested in the True Love of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
In other words, we have been given these lives so that we may
honour the Grand Message which our Beloved Nabi ﷺbrought to us.
In other words, The Grand Message, which commands us to believe
in Allah Alone and to worship One Allah. On the day of reckoning,
Almighty Allah will show the entire creation that Nabi Kareem ﷺis
the Most Beloved and the Most Exalted in His Divine Court, and that
the entire creation was indeed created to honour His Beloved ﷺon
the Plains of Reckoning. There is no doubt that Almighty Allah
created us for His Ibaadat and we know that Almighty Allah says in
the Holy Qur’an,
And I Only Created Man And Jinn So That They May Worship Me.
[Surah Az Zariyat (51), Verse 56]
(O My Most Beloved )ﷺIf You Were Not, I Would Have Not Made
Apparent That I Am The Rab’b.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہstated in his Malfooz
Shareef, I have not seen it in the Hadith, but it has come in the books
of the Noble Sufis,
So, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us that all of this is
because of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, and it is because of Nabi Kareem ﷺthat
we were blessed with Imaan and it is through Him ﷺthat we
became the believing servants of Almighty Allah, and it is through
Him ﷺthat we have received Allah’s Mercy. Thus, it is a fact, that
this life is for Nabi ﷺand He ﷺis the Master of our lives, and it is a
fact, that our lives belong to the Beloved Nabi ﷺ, and when one truly
realises this, then he will never befriend and associate with deviants
and the agents of unholy unity (Sulhe-Kullis), but he will keep away
from them, for they are nothing, and our Beloved Nabi ﷺis
everything.
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis teaching us to realise that, the
one who is detached from the Nabi ﷺhas nothing, and the one who
believes that the Beloved Nabi ﷺis the Master of his life, is the one
who has attained success and passed the test of life. The True
believers are those who regard the Beloved Nabi ﷺas the Owner of

their lives and this is why the Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا ج ين ضنalways said,
34
THE FOURTH RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽
ت ببن ن ن
و نن ھم با نان ی ینوم ّ یدننن، و ٓہ و ببہ رام ا بن نین،دہ ونّی و م ی روہ ییرم
In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us that,
in order to show the world that the Beloved Rasool ﷺis Peerless and
to show the world that even Nature as it is known, is submitted
beneath the Beloved Rasool’s Sacred Feet, Almighty Allah allowed
the people to see the uniqueness of the Sacred Feet of Nabi
Kareem ﷺ.In other words, the nature of a rock is that it is hard and
35
does not naturally melt by itself. However, it was the Blessed Miracle
of the Beloved Rasool ﷺthat when the Beloved Rasool ﷺwould
place His ﷺSacred Foot on a rock, then many times the rock would
become soft and the Sacred Footprint of the Beloved
Rasool ﷺwould become embedded in the rock very easily and
comfortably.
Shaykh Abdul Haq Muhad’dith e Delhvi ر ضی الہ ضنہ says in Madarij un
Nubuw’wat Shareef that,
It also means that even though a rock is regarded lifeless, it still was
blessed with knowing that this is the Sacred Foot of Nabi Kareem ﷺ,
and due to this, the rock exhibited such love and honour to
Nabi ﷺthat it took the Sacred Footprint of Nabi Kareem ﷺinto
itself and became a Blessed Exhibit and a Blessed Relic for the
Believers.
36
Other examples of nature submitting to the Beloved Nabi ﷺ, is the
example of the tree which uprooted itself and dragged itself towards
the Beloved Rasool ﷺ, the already set sun which returned on
His ﷺCommand, the moon which split in two by the Gesture of
His ﷺBlessed Finger, the moon which would move, following the
movement of His ﷺBlessed Finger, while He ﷺwas still a Baby in
the cradle, animals speaking to him and other such incidents. All of
this was to show that nature is the slave at the Sacred Feet and upon
the Sacred Command of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
37
THE FIFTH RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽
ت ببن ن ن
و نن ھم با نان ی ینوم ّ یدننن، و ٓہ و ببہ رام ا بن نین،دہ ونّی و م ی روہ ییرم
38
Murshid e Kareem ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that the brightness and the radiance
which you are seeing in the moon, the sun and the stars, is in fact the
glow and radiance which has been blessed to them from the Pure
Radiances and Manifestations of the Beloved Rasool ﷺ.
أﹷﻧ ﹷﺎ ﹻﻣ ْﻦ ﻧ ﹹ ْﻮرﹻاﷲ ﹻ
What Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis trying to explain to us, is that we
as humans become so astonished and are so taken aback by the
radiance and beauty of the full moon, the intense brightness of the
sun when it is at its zenith, and the glittering of the stars on a clear
night, and there is no doubt that the full moon, the sun at its zenith
and the stars twinkling in the sky are all so beautiful and beneficial to
us.
However, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us, we should
understand that, if they are so beautiful and they are so bright and
radiant, and if they are so beneficial, then think about how beautiful,
how blessed and how radiant the Blessed Countenance of the
Beloved Rasool ﷺis, for the Moon, the Sun and the Stars are not
glowing by their own light, but they are glowing through the blessings
of the Noor of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, and it is His ﷺManifestations which
are causing them to glow so brightly and radiantly.
39
So, we are being told that when the sun emits so much of light in the
day, that it brightens the entire earth, then what can be said about
Him ﷺ, Who is the ‘Sun Which Brightens’ and ‘The Brightest Lamp’,
which even gives radiance to the sun.
‘If you had seen him, it is as if you saw the sun rising.’ [Anwaar ul
Qur’an with ref to Daarmi and Mishkaat]
It Is mentioned in the Hadith of Tirmizi that Hazrat Abu Hurairah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
said, He was so beautiful that it seemed like the sun was revolving in
His ﷺBlessed Face.
40
This couplet of Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis also the reflection of a
couplet which his noble forefather Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle
Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہwrote in the world renowned Qasida Me’rajiya, wherein
he said,
Wohi To Ab Tak Chalak Raha He, Wohi To Joban Tapak Raha Hai
Nahaane Me Jo Gira Tha Paani, Katore Taaroñ Ne Bhar Liye Thay
Upto Now The Splashes of Sacred Droplets Are Flowing Within Them
By This Sparkling Beauty, They Have Indeed Been Anointed
In other words, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us in
veiled manner, that when the sun, the moon and the stars are not
able to glow without the Beloved Nabi ﷺ, then how is it possible for
us to be successful here and in the hereafter without the Wasila of
our Beloved Nabi ﷺ. He is telling us that if we wish to glow here and,
in the hereafter, then we should become the true slaves at the
Sacred Feet of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.

We are being taught in this couplet that there is no doubt that our
Beloved Nabi ﷺhas been blessed with such Grand Authority by
Almighty Allah that He ﷺmay give what He ﷺWills to whomsoever
42
He ﷺWills. In other words, Almighty Allah has granted such power
and authority to Nabi Kareem ﷺthat he may grant whom He ﷺ
wishes authority over the kingdoms of the earth and He ﷺmay grant
Jannat and the bounties of Jannat to whomsoever He ﷺwishes. This
has been proven numerous times, and The Beloved Rasool ﷺgave
glad tidings of Jannat and admission into Jannat to whomsoever He
ﷺwished and He ﷺalso announced this for whomsoever He ﷺ
wished.

This is because the Beloved Rasool ﷺhad been blessed by Almighty
Allah with Distinctive Authority.
In other words, the Beloved Rasool ﷺhas been granted the power of
being the total Grand Legislator and He ﷺmay rule and command as
He ﷺsees fit.
In this couplet, Huzoor Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us that our Nabi
ﷺhas been blessed with such distinctive authority that He ﷺmay
give and take as He ﷺwishes, and at the same time, we as the
Ummah are commanded to take what He ﷺgives (i.e. commands)
and abstain from whatever He ﷺforbids.
Huzoor Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis portraying in this couplet that which is
in accordance with the command of the Holy Qur'an. Almighty Allah
says:
And Whatever The Beloved Rasool Gives, Take It, And Whatever He
Forbids, Abstain From It. [Surah Hashr (59), Verse 7]
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis in fact telling us that we should
remain as mendicants at the Sacred Feet of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, for He
ﷺhas the authority to grant you whatever you wish.
44
An example of this is the well-known narration of Hazrat Abu
Hurairah ر ضی الہ ضنہ. He says,

In other words, Hazrat Abu Hurairah ر ضی الہ ضنہtold the Beloved Rasool ﷺ
that he would hear the Ahadith e Mubaaraka from the Most Beloved
Rasool ﷺin abundance, but would forget all of that which he
heard. In other words, Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
mentioned this predicament of his to the Beloved Rasool ﷺ.

We all know that the grave is a very dark and constricted place. We
are all aware of the condition in the grave, and the lonely situation
therein. Every Muslim is anxious about his or her time in the grave.
To better understand this, think about how lonely and restless you
feel when in a room which is completely dark and small, and when
you are unable to find a way to brighten it.
47
We all know that until we remain in this darkness, we are troubled
and fearful, and the only consolation is to have some light enter, so
that the darkness fades away.
It is this which Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis in fact
reminding us about, in the veil of this couplet, and without
mentioning the darkness etc. in an open sense, he is presenting the
solution for this time in our graves. Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی
الہ ننہis telling us that the solution to the darkness of the grave is to take
with us the ‘Spot of The Love of The Beloved Rasool ’ﷺto our
graves.
He is telling us to fill our hearts with the love of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, for
it is this love, which will become ‘A Lamp of Radiance’, which is so
bright that it will illuminate our graves. He is telling us that this spot is
not just any spot, but it is the Lamp of Love, and it is this Lamp of The
Love of Nabi Kareem ﷺwhich will keep our graves bright. So, Huzoor
Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis encouraging us to fill our hearts with
Ishq e Mustafa ﷺand to take with us this ‘Spot of Love’ in our
graves. However, if we truly wish to take with us this Radiant Spot
and Lamp of Love, we must protect it. So, how do we protect this
Spot of Love, so that we may take it with us into our graves?
48
The answer is simple, we should remain firm on the path of Truth,
which today is known as Maslak e Aala Hazrat.
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ننہhimself says, In Maslak e Aala
Hazrat, the greatest and most important thing is the Love for
Rasoolullah ﷺ, and the other important thing in Maslak e Aala
Hazrat is that the one who is not for the Beloved Rasool ﷺ, is not
for us, and we should have no relationship to any such person.
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush ر ضی الہ ضنہalso says, This is what Maslak e Aala
Hazrat is. It is the spot of the Prophet’s Love that we will take with
us into the dark grave. It is His ﷺlove and His ﷺBlessed Name
that will be beneficial and helpful to us. This is the Imaan of those
who believe that Mustafa ﷺand His ﷺCompanions and Family
and the Awliya of His ﷺUmmah are our helpers (Aids), and when
the time comes for us to travel from this world into their hereafter,
then too, they will be of assistance to us.
It must also be noted that in this couplet, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
is also presenting a manifestation and reflection of a couplet written
by his noble forefather Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam e Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہin
which the great Imam said,
49
This couplet of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہis in fact being explained by
Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہin his couplet.
It also shows that Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis indeed the heir to
the knowledge, wisdom and piety of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہ, and if
we wish to understand Aala Hazrat Imam e Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہand his
works, we should do so in the shade of the teachings of Huzoor
Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ.

He is asking, who made the Holy Kaa’ba the Qibla? In other words,
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying this to remind us that
the Holy Kaa’ba became the Qibla through the Blessings of Nabi
Kareem ﷺand the Kaa'ba became the Kaa’ba due to His ﷺLove for
the Kaa’ba and His ﷺLove for Makkah, and it became the Qibla
through the pure wish of the Beloved Nabi ﷺ.
51
In the second line, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہthen presents
the response in the words of love by saying that, the Kaa’ba of the
Kaa’ba is the Sacred Face of Nabi Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ, and in
saying this, he has presented the response to the question in the first
line of the couplet, that being, that when the Sacred Face (i.e. the
Countenance of Nabi )ﷺis the Kaa’ba of the Kaa’ba, then most
certainly the Kaa’ba became the Qibla through His ﷺBlessings.
It must be further noted that the Baytul Maqdis was the original
Qibla, and the Beloved Nabi ﷺinitially faced the direction of
Baytul Maqdis when performing Salaah and this was regarded the
Qibla.
We are Seeing You repeatedly directing Your Face towards the sky,
so surely We will turn You towards that Qibla (Direction), with
which You are pleased. [Surah Al Baqarah (2), Verse 144]
This, thus proves two important points, one being that the Kaa’ba
was made the Qibla through the Blessings of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, and
the other being that Nabi Kareem ﷺis indeed the Kaa’ba of the
Kaa’ba, because all the Believers are directed towards the Kaa’ba and
the Kaa’ba is admiring the Sacred Face of Nabi ﷺ.
In other words, even the deviants are being told, that you argue
about the Grandness of Nabi Kareem ﷺand about Him ﷺbeing a
Wasila (intermediary), but you fail to see that the direction to which
all the Believers turn in Allah’s Ibaadat, is even through the Sadqa of
Nabi Kareem ﷺ, so why then will it be wrong to present Him ﷺas a
Wasila in the Court of Almighty Allah, when He ﷺHimself is the
Wasila through which the Holy Kaa’ba became our Qibla?
In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہhas refreshed and
strengthened our belief that indeed the Greatest in Allah's Creation is
Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺand His ﷺNobility is even more Exalted
than the Holy Kaa’ba.

Huzoor Sadrush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہfurther says, One will pass over Pul
Siraat as per his deeds. Some will pass over with the swiftness of
the flash of lightning. Some will pass over like wind travelling at
high speeds. Some will pass over as fast as birds whilst others will
pass over with the speed of a fast horse. Some will pass over with
the speed of a running man whilst others will do so dragging
themselves on their bottoms. There will also be those who will pass
over as slow as ants.
Huzoor Sadrush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہthen says, There are two massive iron
rods with curved ends like hooks on either side of Pul Siraat. They
will seize whomsoever they have been commanded to seize. Some
of those seized will be severely wounded, but will still manage to
cross over Pul Siraat, whilst others will be plunged by them into the
fire of hell. Whilst all will be struggling to pass over Pul Siraat, our
pure master, the intercessor for the sinful, Hazrat
Muhammad ﷺwill be waiting on the other end of Pul Siraat
praying for his Ummah to pass safely. He will be saying, Rab’bi
Sal’lim, Sal’lim. In other words, ‘O Allah grant them safe
passage.’ [Bahaar e Shariat, Volume One]
After reading the above, we would have understood well about what
a worrying and terrifying moment this is for every person, when he or
she will have to walk over Pul Siraat. However, in this couplet, Huzoor
Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis addressing his heart and he is saying to
it, yes, I am aware of the difficulties and the apprehension on that
day, but O’ my heart there is no need to be troubled, for there I will
55
find the Beloved Rasool ﷺon the other side of Pul Siraat, making
Dua for the safety of His ﷺUmmah, by saying, ‘Rab’bi Sal’lim’.
So, when the Beloved Rasool ﷺis there making Dua and presenting
a plea for us to pass over with safety and with peace, then O’ my
heart why are you so troubled and why are you allowing yourself to
be troubled by the malicious whispering (i.e. the evil whispering of
Shaitaan), because our Nabi Kareem ﷺis the Most Beloved of
Almighty Allah and He ﷺwill be there, making Dua for the safe
passage of His ﷺUmmah. So, O’ my heart! Be confident, for in the
entire creation, the word of none other is more accepted than the
words which come from the Blessed Lips of Our Aaqa ﷺ.
Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہthen says in the next line that, we are
those who will pass over the Bridge of Siraat swaying ecstatically in a
state of ‘Wajd’ (i.e. in spiritual ecstasy, not even paying attention to
anything else except the Dua of the Beloved Nabi )ﷺand we will not
slip or slide on the bridge, but we will pass in the state of Wajd, and
we will be in this state of Wajd because we will be drowned in the
Dua and the Beauty of the Beloved Rasool ﷺ, Who will be waiting for
us on the other side of Pul Siraat.
Therefore, O’ my heart! Live with Imaan and die with Imaan and keep
away from the thieves of Imaan, and we will surely be deserving of
the Dua of Nabi Kareem ﷺon that day, and we will cross over the
Bridge of Siraat in ecstasy and in the profound love of our
Nabi ﷺand through the Special Aid of the Dua of Nabi Kareem ﷺ,
for in reality, it is not us who will be crossing, but it is the Dua of the
Beloved Rasool ﷺwhich will take us across towards His ﷺMercy,
and to enter us into Holy Paradise.
In other words, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہsaid the same thing, and
used the word ‘Wajd’ because he has so much of confidence in the
words of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہ, and this is not only because Sayyidi
Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہis his noble forefather, but it because he truly
regards Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہThe Imam of the Ahle Sunnat and as
the great Aashiq e Rasool ﷺand the Imam e Ishq e Muhabbat.

When one looks at this couplet of Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہwith
the eyes of true love, and when one listens to it with the ears of his
heart, then he will notice that the great Aashiq e Rasool ﷺ, Huzoor
Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہhas written this couplet while in a state
of deep spiritual ecstasy. He is speaking to his own heart, while
reflecting the message of love upon the hearts of every Aashiq e
Rasool ﷺ. He is saying, you have been waiting restlessly to visit the
Sacred City of Madina and now Madina Shareef has finally come. You
58
have journeyed so far and throughout your journey, you looked for
only one thing. All you looked for is Madina Munawwarah.
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis then saying to his ecstatic
heart and to the hearts of all the true lovers of the Beloved
Rasool ﷺ, when you finally reach the boundary of the City of Light
and you know that you are now approaching the Grand Entrance of
Madina Shareef, then you should divorce yourself from all the vices
and all the thoughts of this world and you should empty your heart
from the thoughts, the love and the feelings for everyone and
everything else.
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis teaching us a great lesson of
love here, and in a state of spiritual ecstasy, he is speaking to his own
heart and to the hearts of all of us, and in doing so, he is saying, what
are you waiting for and why are you so absorbed in the world?
Swiftly empty your hearts, for the Holy City of the Beloved
Rasool ﷺis here.
59
He is saying that this heart has been the residence to so many things,
so now swiftly clear this heart, and let it only be the residence of
Madina, for if Madina resides in your heart, then the Master of
Madina ﷺwill reside in your heart.
If one looks at this couplet in a more spiritual sense, then it can also
be interpreted to mean that, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis
saying that, be it physically or spiritually, and no matter where you
are, if you truly love the Beloved Rasool ﷺand you spend your
nights and days remembering Him ﷺsincerely, then keep your heart
pure and keep it free from wrongs and detach it from the vices of the
world and detach it from the deviants, and you will see that when an
Aashiq e Rasool ﷺreaches this degree of grand excellence, and he
becomes accepted in the Court of Nabi Kareem ﷺthen even before
he enters Madina Shareef, the City of Madina will enter his heart, and
when this happens and when he finally physically journeys to Madina
Shareef, his heart will enter into such a state of spiritual ecstasy, that
apart from Madina Shareef the heart will recognise nothing else, and
this is why he is saying, keep your heart pure and do not delay and
waste your time in the vices of the world and in the love of the
worldly entities which will all perish, but rather absorb yourself in the
love of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
In other words, he is saying, keep your heart pure at all times, but
when you finally do arrive in Madina Shareef, then once again remind
yourself to empty the heart and prepare it swiftly, for when Madina
enters the heart, it will glow with the love of the Master of
Madina ﷺand it will become fragrant with the most beautiful
fragrance in the universe, and that is the fragrance of the love of the
60
Beloved Rasool ﷺ. This is because there is no place on earth more
beautiful and more blessed than Madina Shareef, for in it resides
Allah's Most Beloved ﷺ. To enter into a more profound state of
spiritual ecstasy, observe this beautiful couplet of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat
Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہin which the Great Imam says,

Illumination, my and your Beloved Nabi Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa
ﷺ, The Master of Our Intercession, is expressing his yearning and
wish to once again see the blessings of the Blessed City and The Holy
Surroundings of Madina Shareef.
In doing so, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis not only asking to
see Madina Shareef, but he is asking to see the Special Blessings and
the Special Radiance of Madina Shareef, because he is saying, O
Allah! Show me Madina Shareef but show me it’s Special Blessings
and Radiances as well, for Madina Shareef is not just any place or just
any city, but it is that Most Blessed Station, where day and night
Mercy descends abundantly, and where not only Mercy descends,
but it is that beautiful place where the oceans of Mercy are flowing
continuously.
In other words, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that,
there is no place in the universe where Allah's Mercy and Blessings
descend more than it descends in Madina Shareef, for there, is
resting Almighty Allah’s Most Beloved ﷺ, Who is the Mercy unto the
Worlds ﷺ.
63
If one reads between the lines, it is being said that the Mercy is
descending endlessly in Madina Shareef, and thus, Madina Shareef is
The Grandest Treasury of Mercy. In other words, this is the Most
Exalted Court of The Mercy unto the Worlds ﷺ. Here, descends
Allah's Special Mercy, and from here the Mercy unto the worlds
distributes this, Mercy. So, day and night, upon the Beloved Nabi ﷺ
the Mercy of Allah is descending, and the Grand Distribution Station
of Mercy is this Sacred Court of Mercy.
By the Aashiq e Rasool ﷺHuzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
mentioning the Merciful Radiance of Madina Shareef, he is also
telling us that when we enter Madina Shareef, we should be
conscious of where we are, and we should know that we are at the
Most Exalted Station in the Universe, where day and night the Special
Mercy of Allah descends.
Allah bless us all with being respectful in Madina Shareef and grant us
life in the True Love of Nabi ﷺand death with Imaan when He Wills,
in Madina Shareef, with a place in the Sacred Baqi e Paak. Aameen.

complete devotion, and if he makes every effort to live in accordance
with the Sunnah, then it means, he is doing everything to please the
Beloved Nabi ﷺ, and it is clear from the Holy Qur'an and the Ahadith

one who truly obeys Almighty Allah.
The best way to understand this, is to look at the lives of the Sahaba

sacrifice everything in the love of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, and upon the
Command of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
A splendid example of this is Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ

snake had bitten him. Another glowing example is that of Maula Ali ر ضی

And Do Not Even Think of Those Who Have Been Slain (Martyred) In
The Way of Allah To Be Dead, But They Are Alive. [Surah Aale Imran
(3), Verse 169]
66
Now, the question which comes up here is, what made them give
their lives in the Way of Allah? It was, in fact, their profound love for
Nabi Kareem ﷺ, and so Almighty Allah promised them a never
ending life, and this is why we believe that the Shuhada (The Martyrs)
are alive.
As for those who cannot see this, then such people are dead in the
real sense, while those who die in His ﷺlove, are blessed with a
special life, and this is why Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis
saying, when dying in His ﷺlove gives one an endless life, then why
should those who desire this, fear death? Rather, they are amongst
those, who love death, for death is the bridge, which takes the
Beloved towards the Beloved.
Once, whilst on a journey, Hazrat Ma’ruf Shah Khushaabi یی ہ رہ was
confronted by bandits.
Assuming that he had riches with him, the bandits killed him and
then drowned him in the Jahlam River. When the bandits went a bit
further away, they found him standing alive on the other side of the
river. On seeing this, all of them immediately repented and
mended their ways.
67
This incident is an indication to the verse of the Holy Qur’an,
And Do Not Say Those Who Have Been Slain In The Way of Allah To
Be Dead, For They Are Alive, But You Are Unaware. [Surah Al
Baqarah (2), Verse 154]
Hazrat Ibn Umar ر ضی الہ ضنہreported that, On returning from Uhud,
Rasoolullah ﷺstopped at the graves of Hazrat Mus’ab bin Umar ر ضی الہ ضن
and his companions. He ﷺsaid, I bear witness that, By Allah! You Are
Alive. O People! Meet with them and convey Salaams to them,
because they reply (to you), until Qiyaamat. [Sharhus Sudoor of
Imam Suyuti]
This couplet of Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis also the reflection of a
couplet of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہwherein he
says,
68
THE THIRTEENTH RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽
ت ببن ن ن
و نن ھم با نان ی ینوم ّ یدننن، و ٓہ و ببہ رام ا بن نین،دہ ونّی و م ی روہ ییرم
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis portraying this conversation to
show that the stars are probably looking at their own glitter and glow
and then looking at the Sacred Dust of the Holy Court of Nabi Kareem
ﷺfrom the sky, and thereafter concluding that, the Sacred Dust of
the Majestic Court of Nabi Kareem ﷺis indeed more radiant than
the glow in the stars and in the skies, for on that Sacred Dust is
resting the greatest of Allah's Creation, Who is the Noor of Almighty
Allah, so when that Sacred Dust which is connected to His ﷺSacred
Body is more exalted than the Arsh, and when the Noor of the
Beloved Nabi ﷺis the means to the creation, then indeed the stars
are concluding that, the source of Illumination for them and for
everything, is the Sacred Dust of His ﷺMajestic Court.
Hazrat Jaabir ر ضی الہ ضنہonce respectfully enquired from the Beloved
Rasool ﷺ, Ya Rasool’Allah !ﷺMay my parents be sacrificed upon
you. What is the first thing which Almighty Allah created before
everything else?
70
So, based on this, the closest thing to be connected to the Nabi ﷺis
the Sacred Dust of the Majestic Court of Nabi ﷺand hence it is most
radiant and even more radiant than the stars, and hence the stars are
saying that the Sacred Dust of The Majestic Court of Nabi ﷺis the
source of their radiance and Illumination.
I must say here that the second sense is one which can be attributed
to this couplet of Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ننہat a greater
level, for Huzoor Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہsays with confidence in this
couplet, that the stars are having this discussion and conversation in
the Galaxy of The Stars.
71
So, even though in the apparent sense the stars in the sky are
mentioned, it can be interpreted in the spiritual sense as well, for all
the Beloveds are glowing through the blessings of the Sacred Dust of
The Majestic Court of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
However, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis also saying that the
stars are in conversation. From this word conversation, I have
understood that Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis basically
telling us that when these stars are twinkling, then to our eyes they
are twinkling (and no matter what the scientific reasons may be),
spiritually, this twinkling which we are seeing is not just twinkling, but
it is the conversation of the stars.
He then says, that the conversation which they are having is about
the Sacred Dust from the Grand Court of the Beloved Rasool ﷺ,
because we stand on earth and are able to see the stars glowing in
the sky, but from the sky, the stars are able to see the Sacred Dust
Particles of Madina Shareef glowing even brighter than them, and
thus the stars are saying to one another that, this brightness which
we have attained, is through the Sacred Dust of Madina Shareef, for
it is there, that the Beloved Rasool ﷺis Resting, and it is He ﷺ, Who
is the Source of all the Illumination, and even the glow which is found
in the stars. This is the other apparent sense of this couplet.
72
However, by the Karam of Murshid e Kareem Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush
Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہI have understood a few more interpretations to this
couplet, which unveil some of the secrets which are veiled in the
poetry of Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
Who Knows How Many Stars Glowed & Hid Away Secretly!
But The One Who Neither Set, Nor Will Ever Set, Is Our Nabi ﷺ
In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہis referring to The

Ambia e Kiraam يم مas ‘The Stars’. In other words, they are the
Glowing Stars of Nubuw’wat. Now, if we keep this couplet in mind
and now look at the couplet of Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ,
we will further understand the hidden sense of the couplet.
In other words, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that in

The Grand Galaxy of the Ambia e Kiraam يم مall the Ambia e Kiraam

ي م مare conversing amongst themselves, and they all believe that
whatever Blessings and Brightness they have received, and even their
Grand Excellence, is all through Imam ul Ambia Muhammadur
Rasoolullah ﷺ, and they all believe that the Source of this Radiance
and Illumination which they have, is through Nabi Kareem ﷺ, Who is
in Madina Shareef, and thus they too honour and revere the Sacred
Dust of The Sacred Court of Nabi Kareem ﷺfor on it is the Grand
Palace of Their Master ﷺ.
73
Another interpretation which can be understood from this couplet is
that Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that the Beloved
Rasool ﷺsaid,
74
THE FOURTEENTH RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽
ت ببن ن ن
و نن ھم با نان ی ینوم ّ یدننن، و ٓہ و ببہ رام ا بن نین،دہ ونّی و م ی روہ ییرم
NABI SE HO JO BEGAANA
USAY DIL SE JUDA KAR DEÑ
75
In other words, be they our parents, our children or anyone else. The
moment they become deviants or support and promote the deviants,
we should immediately distance ourselves from them, for the safety
of our Imaan is in this.
In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis teaching us
about true love for the Beloved Rasool ﷺ. The best explanation of
this couplet can be found in the blessed words of Huzoor Sayyidi
Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہwhich he personally mentioned. The Grand
Shaykh himself says, The greatest and the most important thing in
our Deen is the true love for Rasool e Akram ﷺ. The great benefit
and great blessing in this, is when the one who truly falls in love
with the Beloved Rasool ﷺin this world, loves the Beloved
Rasool ﷺin such a manner, that he keeps his connection and
relation only to the Beloved Rasool ﷺ, and to those who love the
Beloved Rasool ﷺ. In other words, he keeps his connection to the
Sahaba of The Beloved Rasool ﷺ, and through this, he keeps a
special connection and attachment to the Awliya e Kiraam; but at
the same time, he does not keep any connection and association
with anyone, who is not loyal to the Beloved Rasool ﷺ. In other
words, he disassociates from the company of those who are not
truly connected to the Beloved Rasool e Akram ﷺ.
In other words, he should detach himself from all the deviants and
those who are the sympathisers of the deviants, like the Sulhe Kullis
(the agents of unholy unity) of this era. He should regard their
company as detrimental, for this will erode the love which he has for
the Beloved Rasool ﷺ.
In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis clearly warning
us about the dangers of keeping ties with the deviants and with the
agents of unholy unity. He is emphasising that we must keep away
from the deviants and from anyone who shows even the slightest
disrespect to the Beloved Rasool ﷺ. He is explaining that we should
not keep any association with them.
In other words, do not sit with them, do not eat with them, do not
visit them, do not marry them, do not pray Salaah behind them and
do not pray Salaah over them when they die, and this advice is in
accordance with the Hadith Shareef and this is how we should handle
the deviants.
77
This is why Sayyidi Taajush Shariah’s noble paternal grandfather,
Ghaus ul Waqt Huzoor Mufti e Azam Hind Ash Shah Imam Mustafa
Raza Khan Qaadiri Barakaati ر ضی الہ ضنہsays,
Much Worse Than The Enemy of Your Life, Is The Enemy of The Deen
Meeting With His Enemies; His True Servants You Will Never Find

It is this same message of the Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن ضينwhich
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis conveying in this couplet. In
other words, his message is further emphasised in the second line of
the couplet when he says that we should be willing to sacrifice
everything, be it our parents, our children, our wealth or our lives, for
the love of Nabi Kareem ﷺand upon Him ﷺ.
78
THE FIFTEENTH RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽
ت ببن ن ن
و نن ھم با نان ی ینوم ّ یدننن، و ٓہ و ببہ رام ا بن نین،دہ ونّی و م ی روہ ییرم
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us that, the Kings are
those who are proud of their crowns and regard it as their mark of
honour and respect, but when the same kings visit the Court of the
King of Kings, The Greatest and Most Exalted King in Allah’s Creation,
Sayyiduna wa Maulana Muhammad ﷺ, then they are humbled and
79
they do not regard themselves as kings there, but they regard
themselves as beggars at His ﷺCourt.
So, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis also teaching us a very
important lesson of love and humility. He is teaching us that no
matter how powerful, how wealthy and how influential you may be,
but when you visit the Grand Court of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, you should
realise that you are a mere mendicant and slave at the Grandest
Court in the universe, and when you go to Madina Shareef and
present yourself in the Sacred Court of Nabi ﷺyou should do so with
respect and humility.
80
In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis thus telling us
that, when the kings come to the Court of the beloved Rasool ﷺthey
come as mendicants and regard their crowns which is a mark of
respect as their begging bowls, and they too announce that being a
mendicant in the Court of Nabi ul Ambia ﷺis greater than the
kingship of the world.
In doing so, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis advising us to
always go towards the Court of Nabi Kareem ﷺwith humility and
respect and to know how fortunate the true mendicants of the
Sacred Court of Nabi Kareem ﷺreally are, for even the Kings want to
sacrifice their crowns at His ﷺSacred Feet. The message of Huzoor
Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہin this couplet, is also the reflection of a
couplet of his Noble Grandfather and his Murshid Sarkaar Mufti e
Azam e Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہ. He says,
81
THE SIXTEENTH RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽
ت ببن ن ن
و نن ھم با نان ی ینوم ّ یدننن، و ٓہ و ببہ رام ا بن نین،دہ ونّی و م ی روہ ییرم
82
Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis then telling us that, we should look to
the past and turn towards the pious predecessors who are indeed
closer to the Golden Era of The Beloved Rasool ﷺ, and we should
convey the message of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہto the people,
because he is a Rose from the Gardens of The Pious Predecessors
from which flows the sweet fragrance of the Love of The Beloved
Rasool ﷺ.
Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis teaching us to hold firmly to the
teachings, the rulings and the thinking (ideology) of Sayyidi Aala
Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہand he is saying to us, look behind you and refresh your
devotion. In other words, look towards the past and you will see that
the greatest Imams of that time regarded the teachings and Rulings
of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہto be the yardstick for the people.
He then says, Sarkaar Noori Miyañ ر ضی الہ ضنہused to also say to me, Son!
This is our constitution and handbook, that the moment Maulana
Ahmed Raza Khan Saaheb confirms any ruling, my heart
immediately becomes content upon it.
83
Subhaan’Allah! Sarkaar Noori Miyañ ر ضی الہ ضنہis from amongst the Grand
Masha’ikh of Marahrah Shareef and the Murshid e Kaamil of Ghaus ul
Waqt Huzoor Mufti e Azam Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہ. What a beautiful view he has
about Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
Here, I must say that Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہdid not only
encourage and command us to convey the Message of Sayyidi Aala
Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہ, but he personally spent his entire life doing so, and was a
practical example of this. He did not move even an inch from any
ruling or teaching of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہand he directed his
attention towards the works of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہwith
complete sincerity, and he always shared that which was as per
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہ. One example of this is that Sayyidi Taajush
Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہonce stated,
84
and when they do this, they will be able to observe the beauty and
the individuality present in Kanz ul Imaan.
This couplet of Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah’s ر ضی الہ ضنہis also the
reflection of the message of Ghaus ul Waqt Huzoor Mufti e Azam e
Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہin which he said,
85
THE SEVENTEENTH RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽
ت ببن ن ن

86
This couplet is one which causes the hearts of the Aashiqaan e
Mustafa ﷺto blossom with the Love of The Beloved Rasool ﷺ,
causing the hearts to become fragrant gardens of Ishq e Mustafa ﷺ.
It is well known that the ‘Rose’ is known as the Queen of the flowers
and the most beautiful and the most fragrant in the garden. Even
here, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis implying that the entire
world knows that roses are the most fragrant and the most beautiful
flowers, and that they are exclusive in their fragrance, but then
Murshid e Kareem ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us that, let me tell you how these
roses became so fragrant.
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us that every flower in
the flower garden is indeed fragrant, but the roses have a special
fragrance, and they are regarded as the flower amongst flowers, and
this is because these roses attained their fragrance through the
Blessed Perspiration of the Beloved Rasool ﷺ, for He ﷺis the
Essence and Soul of every garden.
Now, the question which arises here is that, did Huzoor Sayyidi
Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہjust say that the roses are so beautifully fragrant
because they have been blessed by the Sacred Perspiration of Nabi
87
Kareem ﷺ, in reality, or is this just his way of showing his immense
love for the Beloved Nabi ﷺ, and him saying this in a universal
manner, because every blessing is indeed through Rasoolullah ?ﷺ
The answer to this is that it is in both the first and the second sense.
In the second sense, it is indeed true that every blessing is through
the Beloved Rasool ﷺand it is also in the first sense. In other words,
the roses are indeed augmented by the Sacred Perspiration of Nabi
Kareem ﷺ.
Shaykh Muhaq’qiq Shaykh Abdul Haq Muhad’dith e Delhvi ر ضی الہ ضنہhas
presented a beautiful discussion on this topic. To explain this couplet
and to prove that when the Masha’ikh write Religious Poetry, every
couplet is fragrant and glowing either in the light of The Qur’an or the
Hadith, or in the glow of the thoughts and the spiritual aspirations of
the pious predecessors, I will present here some narrations.
After reading the above narrations, one would now be able to better
understand this couplet of Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہand
one would be able to appreciate the true spiritual beauty and the
true spiritual fragrance of this couplet which Sayyidi Taajush Shariah
ر ضی الہ ضنہhas penned in the love of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, Who is indeed The
Essence and The Soul of every garden, and this includes the Gardens
of Paradise.

Rasool ﷺsays, If this world had any worth, even equivalent to the
wing of a mosquito, then Almighty Allah would never have given it
to the unbelievers.
In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis teaching the
Muslims that this world has no real value and worth and it is
something which will one day come to an end and it will perish like
everything else which perished in it.
This is why our Beloved Nabi ﷺsaid about this materialistic world, in
comparison to the Hereafter, this materialistic world does not even
have any worth equivalent to the moisture (i.e. the wetness) on the
finger of a person, when he dips it into the largest ocean and then
removes his finger.
91
pleasures of this world, and we should hold firmly to the Sacred
Mantle of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, for in reality, our living and our dying are
for the Beloved Rasool ﷺ.
We should also keep away from all those who try to divert us from
the Beloved Rasool ﷺ, for the reality is that our life and our death is
for Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ, and on the day of reckoning we will be
risen by Almighty Allah to answer for our life’s doings. So, we should
hold firmly to Nabi Kareem ﷺhere, so that we may rise in
His ﷺShade of Mercy, in the hereafter.

Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہwrote an entire Kalaam on the
Blessed Occasion of the Urs of Huzoor Sadrush Shariah یی ہ رہand this
couplet is the opening couplet of that Kalaam.
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہwrote this Kalaam a few years
before leaving this physical world, and in this first couplet, he is
encouraging the Ahle Sunnat to attend the Urs of Huzoor Sadrush
Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہso that they may attain the rare gifts of Huzoor Sadrush
Shariah's ر ضی الہ ضنہgreatness and blessings.
The message in this couplet seems very simple, and very easy to
understand. In other words, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis
saying, let’s go to Sadrush Shariah’s Urs and attain his blessings.
However, through the blessings of Murshid e Kareem ر ضی الہ ضنہ, I have
understood that there are also some hidden messages in this couplet,
and in the entire Kalaam, which I would like to share with you here.
The messages hidden in this couplet include:
2. Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis not only telling us to attend
the Urs, but he is also personally inviting us to attend the Urs Shareef
of Huzoor Sayyidi Sadrush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
3. Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہwrote this Kalaam just a few
short years before leaving this physical world. It seems as if he was
giving a sign to his devotees that, soon I will depart in the same
month, only a few days after the Urs of Sadrush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ, so
before you attend my Urs, come to the Urs of Sadrush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
and attain His blessings.
94
4. There are many blessings of Sadrush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہto attain, when
attending the Urs, but the rare gift that you will attain, is that you will
be in the company of Huzoor Sayyidi Muhad’dith e Kabeer Qibla, who
is the rarest gift and the reflection of the knowledge, sagacity, piety,
integrity, nobility and spirituality of Sayyidi Sadrush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
95
THE TWENTIETH RAY OF LUMINOSITY

96
The answer to this is in the second line of this couplet, wherein
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that Holy Paradise is
wide open for every Qaadiri.
Hence, Murshid e Kareem ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying, O Akhtar Raza! Jannat is
open for every true Qaadiri, and since you are Akhtar the Qaadiri,
you have already been allocated your place in Jannat. In saying this,
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis inspiring and encouraging us to
strengthen our connection to Huzoor Ghaus e Paak ر ضی الہ ضنہ, so that
Jannat will also welcome us with open arms.
Who are the true Qaadiris? They are those who are Sunni Sahihul
Aqida and those who are truly absorbed in the love of Almighty Allah
and His Beloved Rasool ﷺand those, who when they hear the Grand
97
Name of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, send Durood and Salaams in abundance
upon Nabi Kareem ﷺespecially on a Friday, as they ecstatically
convey Durood and Salaams upon Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
Hazrat Anas ر ضی الہ ضنہreported that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺsaid, The
One Who Recites 1000 (One Thousand) Durood Upon Me On A
Friday Will Not Die Without Seeing His Final Place In Jannat.
So, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying to himself that it is
through the blessing of being a Qaadiri, O Akhtar Raza, that you are
destined for Jannat.
98
THE TWENTY-FIRST RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽
ت ببن ن ن
و نن ھم با نان ی ینوم ّ یدننن، و ٓہ و ببہ رام ا بن نین،دہ ونّی و م ی روہ ییرم
From the manner in which this couplet has been written, one is able
to see that Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہhas written this
couplet and the entire Kalaam which this couplet is part of, in a state
of deep spiritual ecstasy.
99
Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہthat he is saying to the one who is trying to
explain to him about what love feels like, and to those who are trying
to define love to him, that do not give me an explanation and do not
tell me about what love is.
100
Therefore, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہsays in another one of
his Kalaams:
Being So Far Away From Madina, Caused Me Such Grief & Pain
If It Were To Fall Upon A Mountain, It Would Tremble Under Strain
So, it feels like Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling those
who talk to him about love, that you are telling me about love based
on your knowledge and what you know, and I am telling you that I
have already experienced this love personally. In other words, Hazrat
is saying that, I already know what it feels like to yearn in the love of
Mustafa ﷺand till this day I am still yearning.
In other words, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis politely saying
to those who speak about love, and only make claims of love, that
speaking about love is one thing and truly loving is something else.
101
Therefore, from what I have understood, Huzoor Sayyidi wa Murshidi
Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہin this initial couplet, is telling those who are
speaking about the love of Madina Shareef and the love for the
Beloved Rasool ﷺthat, yes I am sure you are claiming this love and
you are speaking about this love sincerely, but you need to truly
experience this love, and if you wish to cherish it in the true sense,
and if you claim true love, then you should be willing to sacrifice
everything for this love, and you need to refute and stand firmly
against the deviants in the most difficult circumstances, and then
only will you truly know what true love is, and only then will the claim
of love be true.
So, it seems that in this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
is speaking about the love for Madina Shareef and the profound love
for Nabi Kareem ﷺand he was doing this whilst in a state of deep
spiritual ecstasy. This interpretation is also evident from the closing
couplet of this Kalaam wherein Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
says:
102
THE TWENTY-SECOND RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽
ت ببن ن ن

103
If I were to explain this briefly, it could be said that the Father of
Mankind is Nabi Adam يي ه مand he is thus known as Abul Bashar, and
He is the first man (human-being) and He was created from dust,
and, in reality, dust is something which generally is not regarded as
having grand value.
However, the fact that Almighty Allah created the ‘First Man’ from
dust means it is indeed valuable, but it is the kind of value, which is
not realised by every person. This is because when one looks at dust,
he only sees dust and simply says, this is dust, but it is undisputed
that the ‘First Man’ was created from dust. This which Huzoor Sayyidi
Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis mentioning here, is a reflection of what
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہsaid in this beautiful couplet of his:
In order to, grant true honour and a greater value and excellence to
this dust, Almighty Allah placed in this mixture of dust and in the
physical mould (body) made from dust, the most valuable and the
most splendid creation, which is the means to every creation. In
other words, Almighty Allah placed in it, the Noor of Nabi
Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ. Therefore, it is mentioned in the Hadith
Shareef that Nabi Kareem ﷺsaid,
104
From this, it is evident and as bright as day, that Huzoor Sayyid e
Aalam ﷺwas in existence even before the physical body of Hazrat
Adam يي ه مwas created, and even then He ﷺwas a Nabi. This is why
it is mentioned in the Hadith Shareef,
ﹹﻛ ْﻨ ﹹﺖ ﻧﹷب ﹻ ﹱﻴﺎ ﹷو ا ﹻ ﹽﹷن آدﹷ ﹷم ﻟ ﹹﹷﻤ ْﻨ ﹷﺠﺪ ٌﹻل ﹻي ﻃﹻ ْي ﹷﻨﺘ ﹻه
In other words, when the Beloved Rasool ﷺalighted at the Arsh and
when the Arsh humbled itself before Him ﷺin its profound love, the
entire Arsh was lit up (i.e. it was glowing) as expected. However, this
glow was not really from the Arsh itself or from the chandeliers of
Noor which are all around the Arsh, but this glow and brightness was
from the Noor of the Beloved Nabi Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ.
The beauty and the embellishment and the Radiance of the Arsh is
indeed Nabi Kareem ﷺand this is the message which Huzoor Sayyidi
Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis conveying in this couplet.
106
He is telling us that, from the time of the creation of ‘The First Man’
and ‘The Father of Mankind’, the beauty and the adornment right up
to the heights of the Arsh, is The Noor of our Beloved Nabi Hazrat
Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ.
In other words, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that,
While The Beloved Rasool ﷺis The Garb, The Honour, The Beauty,
The Radiance, The Adornment and The Embellishment of dust, He is
also The Garb, The Honour, The Beauty, The Radiance, The
Adornment and The Embellishment of The Exalted Arsh.

Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us about how Bright and
how Radiant Madina Shareef is. He is telling us that at night, the only
light which gives true radiance, and that light which gives true
beauty, is the light and the glow of the moon.
108
Thereafter, he is telling us that, no matter how dark a night it may be
in Madina Shareef, there is really no need for the Moon, for in reality,
Madina Shareef is never dark, for even the darkness of Madina
Shareef is light, for this is indeed The City of Light, it is Al Madinatul
Munawwarah.
This is a fact. You will witness this when you go to Madina Shareef,
that even on the darkest night, Madina Shareef is glowing. Its nights
are radiant like its days and its days are radiant like its nights. The
night sky of Madina Shareef has an amazing matchless glow, and why
should it not be so, when seventy thousand Angels descend over it in
the morning and seventy thousand Angels descend over it in the
evening, forming a ‘Canopy of Light’.
Hence, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us that, this is
not any ordinary place or ordinary city we are talking about, but we
are talking about the City of Light and Radiance, We are talking about
Madina Shareef. So, what need will Madina Shareef have for a moon,
when the entire Madina Shareef is glowing and Radiant because of
the Radiance and the Manifestations of the Brightest Moon in the
entire Universe, and that is the ‘Moon of Madina’, Who is our
Beloved Nabi Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ.
He is That Nabi ﷺ, Who is the ‘Light of Almighty Allah’ and He ﷺis
resting in Madina Shareef, so Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis
saying that what need is there for the Moon in Madinah Shareef,
when the entire Madina Shareef is glowing through the
Manifestations of The Moon of Madina?
109
because the Moon does not rise over Madina Shareef to give light,
but it rises over Madina Shareef to beg for the charity of light, for the
Moon too receives its radiance and glow from Nabi Kareem ﷺ, and
this Moon comes to Madina Shareef to make Ziyaarat of Nabi
Kareem ﷺand to pay its respects at the Greatest Court of Light in
the Universe.
So, do not think that Madina Shareef needs the Moon, but it is the
Moon which indeed needs Madina Shareef, and Madina Shareef does
not depend on the Moon to be bright, but the Moon depends on the
Moon of Madina’s ﷺManifestations to spread its light over the
entire world.

I saw Huzoor e Akram ﷺonce on a moonlit night, adorned in a
reddish (striped) set of clothes. The moon was shining brightly in
the sky and its moonlight was lighting up the earth. I would
sometimes look towards the moon and sometimes look towards
Sarkaar ﷺ, to see who was glowing more, and I exclaimed,
According to Me, The Blessed Face of Huzoor e Akram ﷺIs More
Radiant And More Beautiful Than The Moon. [Shama’il e Tirmizi
Shareef]
So, when Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہsaid that Madina
Shareef does not need a Moon, for, everywhere and in every
direction are the Manifestations of the Moon of Madina ﷺ, then my
Shaykh e Kaamil and this Aashiq e Rasool ﷺwas not only telling us
about the Radiance of Madina, but he was conveying to us the Aqida
(i.e. The Belief) of Hazrat Jabir bin Samura ر ضی الہ ضنہand all the Sahaba e
Kiraam ر ضی الہ ضنہ, and he was telling us about the Aqida of the Ahle
Madina.
111
Sacred Face of Nabi ﷺ, and this proved his Aqida, that the moon
light was overcome by the Radiance of the Face of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
So, if we observe with the eyes of love, we will see that in this
couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis presenting the
annotation and the Sharh of the Hadith of Hazrat Jaabir bin Samura
ر ضی الہ ضنہand in doing so; he is expressing the Aqida of the Ahle Madina.

In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis explaining the
condition of the Ibaadat of a True Believer, and at the same time he
is reminding us of the Aqida of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jama’at. It must be
noted that the Badmazhabs (the deviants) try to deceive the laymen
and they try to confuse the unsuspecting Muslims by saying that we
113
worship graves, and that we make Sajdah to Rasoolullah ( ﷺAllah
Forbid) and to the Raudha e Mubaarak. The Belief of the Ahle Sunnat
is that which is the foundation of the Belief System of Islam. In other
words, There Is None Worthy of Worship Except Allah,
Muhammad ﷺIs Allah’s Rasool. So, the Sunni Muslims, who are the
true Muslims, make Sajdah only to Allah Almighty.
In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us that,
no matter how deep your love may be for Nabi ﷺ, you cannot
transgress the limitations of the Shari’at e Mustafa ﷺ, for true love is
when you hold yourself back from transgressing and strive to be one
who is truly obeying.
Thus, when you are in front of the Holy Kaa’ba, and when you
remember your Creator Almighty Allah, you also remember the
Beloved Rasool ﷺ, through whom the Holy Kaa’ba received the
honour of being the Qibla of our Sajdahs in the Court of Almighty
Allah, for without His ﷺLove, no Sajdah will be accepted in the
Divine Court of Almighty Allah.
When one looks at the Holy Kaa’ba and he makes Shukr for being
able to stand before the Holy Kaa’ba, and in fact, no matter where he
may be, he knows well, that my Sajdah is in the direction of the Holy
114
Kaa’ba, for the Kaa’ba is the Qibla of my prostrations, but he also
remembers that this is the same Holy Kaa’ba which became the Qibla
because of the wish of Nabi ﷺ, and that, this is the same Holy Kaa’ba
which prostrated towards the Sacred Home of Nabi Kareem ﷺupon
His ﷺBlessed Birth, but then, he still needs to remember that, the
direction of every Sajdah of the head, is the Holy Kaa’ba, no matter
how much his love overwhelms him.
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہthen gives the solution to this
situation, and in this couplet, he is basically saying that no Ibaadat is
accepted without the love of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
When the true Aashiq makes Sajdah, then he knows that the Qibla of
the Sajdah of the head is the Holy Kaa’ba, but he also knows that the
Qibla of the heart is The Beloved Rasool ﷺ, so when your head falls
in Sajdah for the Ibaadat of Almighty Allah, while facing the direction
of the Holy Kaa’ba, the heart falls into prostration in the love of the
Beloved Rasool ﷺ, Who is the Qibla of the Heart and Who is also the
Kaa’ba of the Kaa’ba.
They do so with their heads falling in the direction of the Qibla, while
their hearts are falling in the direction of Muhammadur
Rasoolullah ﷺ. In this couplet, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis also
explaining the couplet of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہin which Sayyidi
Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہsays,
115
Pesh e Nazar Wo Nau Bahaar Sajde Ko Dil Hai Be-Qaraar

This couplet of Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہcan also be understood
as a concise poetic commentary of this couplet of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat
Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Qaadiri Barakaati ر ضی الہ ضنہin which he says,
O Yearning Heart, If This Sajdah Is Not Allowed For Him, Let's Improvise
Let’s Perform Such A Sajdah, That Even Your Head Does Not Realise

In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that the
Beloved Rasool ﷺis The Foundation of Life and that life has
originated from Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ.
117
In saying this, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis presenting an
annotation of numerous Ahadith e Mubaaraka in a short yet dynamic
line of poetry.
To substantiate what Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying in
this couplet, I will present here a few narrations:
The Beloved Rasool ﷺsaid, The very first creation which Almighty
Allah created was My Noor. [Tafseer Nishapuri, Tafseer Rooh ul
Bayaan, Madarijun Nubuw’wah]
The Eminent Sahabi e Rasool ﷺHazrat Sayyiduna Jaabir ر ضی الہ ضنہ
respectfully enquired from the Beloved Rasool ﷺ, Ya
Rasool’Allah !ﷺMy parents be sacrificed upon You. What is the
first thing which Almighty Allah created before everything else? The
Beloved Rasool ﷺreplied, O Jaabir! Undoubtedly, before creating
anything else, Almighty Allah created the Noor of your Nabi ﷺfrom
His Noor. [Mawahib ul Laduniyah Shareef, Zarqani Shareef, Sharah
Dalaa’il ul Khayraat Shareef]
118
Except for these narrations there are numerous other narrations
which prove that the Beloved Rasool ﷺis the ‘First Creation’ and the
means to the creation of the entire universe.
Hence, in this couplet, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that
Huzoor e Akram Noor e Mujas’sam ﷺis the ‘Foundation of Life’, for
He ﷺis the First to be created in the form of Light, and from
Him ﷺcame the rest of the creation, and thus He ﷺis indeed The
Foundation of Life, for Life received Life through the Beloved
Rasool ﷺ, and thus, the universe and everything in it, is living and
breathing through the Beloved Rasool ﷺ, for the life of mankind and
the entire universe originated from Him ﷺ.
Therefore, life itself is saying that the Heart and Soul of Life, is the
Beloved Nabi Kareem ﷺ. In other words, whether we hear it or not,
it is an undeniable reality, that the sun, the moon, the stars, the skies,
the earth, the Angels, Hazrat Nabi Adam يي ه مand all the Ambia e

Kiraam ي مم مand all else, have been created by Almighty Allah Alone,
but their existence is by itself announcing that, the life within us is
through the Nabi e Akram ﷺ, Who is indeed The Foundation of Life
and The Heart and The Soul of Life and the Most Beloved of Almighty
Allah.
It is simple to understand that when it was said to Hazrat Adam يي ه م,
If it were not for Muhammad ﷺ, I would have neither created you,
nor the earth or the skies.
119
So, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis not only fortifying the
Aqida of the Ahle Sunnat in this couplet, but he is conveying to us,

the Aqida of Hazrat Adam يي ه مand all the Ambia e Kiraam ي مم مand
he is conveying the Aqida of the Skies and The Earth and the Aqida of
the Sun, the Moon and the Stars, and in fact he is presenting the
belief and the Aqida of Life itself.
In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis presenting the
reflection and manifestation of the couplet of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat
Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہin which he says:
120
THE TWENTY-SIXTH RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽
ت ببن ن ن
و نن ھم با نان ی ینوم ّ یدننن، و ٓہ و ببہ رام ا بن نین،دہ ونّی و م ی روہ ییرم
From this it is clear, that Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہwas
even following in the blessed footsteps of the pious predecessors in
this regard, and that he was not in love with this world and the
materialistic entities of this world, but rather, he was continuously
121
preparing for his journey into the hereafter, because the pious
servants of Almighty Allah are always conscious of death and this
manner of theirs, is based on the guidelines from the Ahadith e
Mubaaraka.
In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis addressing the
moment he leaves this world even before that moment comes, and
he is doing this because the mystics have said, Die before your
death, for the death of a materialistic man gives birth to the
spiritual man.
So, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہwas always suppressing his Nafs and
reminding himself and us that none will live in this world forever.
Hazrat Abu Dardah ر ضی الہ ضنہreports, you live for death. You populate
(places) so they become barren and you have greed for that which
will end, yet you do not acknowledge what will remain always.
Listen! There are three things which you regard bad, which are
actually good (for you): Death, Poverty and Illness. [Sharhus
Sudoor]
Hence, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying, that when he
passes from this world, why will you all be sad and devastated? In
other words, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہknew that when he
passes from this world, his beloved family and all his mureeds and
the entire Ahlus Sunnah will be grieving and devastated, and in this
couplet, he is giving all of us solace and saying, why are you all
devastated?
In other words, he is saying that death is not really the end, but for
the true believers it is the beginning.
122
This is why Imam Jalaalud’deen Suyuti ر ضی الہ ضنہsays, It should be noted
that according to the laymen, death means to perish and this is
incorrect. In fact, the Ulama have mentioned that Death does not
refer to mere non-existence or only total destruction (end). Death is
actually the withdrawal of the soul from the body, and it is merely a
veil that is established between the Rooh (soul) and the body. It is
actually just moving from one home into another home. [Sharhus
Sudoor]
Hazrat Umar bin Abdul Aziz ر ضی الہ ضنہreported a narration that, ‘You have
been created to live forever. You only move from one house to
another house.’ [Sharhus Sudoor]
Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Amr ر ضی الہ ضنہreports that, the world is a prison unto
a Believer and Paradise unto the unbeliever. When a believer
passes away, then his path is opened. He travels to wherever he
wishes in Jannat.
There are similar narrations in Muslim Shareef, Ibn Majah and Jami’
ut Tirmizi etc.

It Is Reported From Hazrat Abu Hurairah ر ضی الہ ضنہThat Rasoolullah ﷺ
Said, The World Is A Prison Unto A Believer, And Paradise Unto The
Unbeliever. [Muslim Shareef]
So, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہin this couplet is telling us
that, when I leave this world, then know that even though I have
gone, but I have just gone from one place to another.
123
However, the place to which I have gone, is more exalted than where
I was, but still, do not be aggrieved and know, that everyone has to
pass away one day. In this line of the couplet there is a secret. In
other words, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying, that when
I leave, you will all be sad and grieving, but why are you devastated,
for who is it that death did not visit?
In other words, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that the
devastation and sadness of those who love me will be because of my
separation from you and from this world, but who is it that death
does not come to?
Hazrat Sa’eed bin Jubair ر ضی الہ ضنہreported, ‘When a person passes away,
his elders (parents) and his close ones welcome him, and they get
together and become even happier than when someone comes
over (to visit after a long time).’ [Sharhus Sudoor]
So, in this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis reminding
us of death, by foretelling his journey from this world into the
hereafter.
124
Further, by him saying that death will come to all, he is saying that I
will leave before you, but when you do come, then I will be there,
waiting to welcome you into the hereafter.
Subhaan’Allah! How vast are the oceans, which flow in the words of
these pious servants of Almighty Allah! Hold firmly to them and do
not allow this powerful connection to be disrupted.

126
In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis more
specifically discussing the patience and perseverance of Sayyiduna
Imam Husain ر ضی الہ ضنہ. Here, the first line of the couplet has two
meanings; the first is an apparent meaning which means that in the
Garden of Submission and Devotion, Sayyiduna Imam Husain ر ضی الہ ضنہis
one who causes flowers, more specifically roses to blossom.
Then, there is Hazrat Am’maar Ibn Yaasir ر ضی الہ ضنہand his parents Hazrat
Yaasir ر ضی الہ ضنہand Hazrat Sumayyah ر ضی الہ ضا, who were persecuted by the
Kuf’faar e Makkah, to the extent that Hazrat Sumayyah ر ضی الہ ضیھاwas
made Shaheed by Abu Jahl and she became the first female to be
made Shaheed (martyred), but in all of this, they remained patient
and submitted to the Pleasure of Allah. They are all thus flowers from
the Garden of Submission
So, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying, that this Garden is already
in full bloom, with Flowers which exhibited amazing patience, and
then ultimately sacrificed their lives for the Pleasure of Allah, and just
when one thought that this Garden of Submission was full and there
was none who could enter this garden with such levels of patience
and submission, Hazrat Sayyiduna Imam Husain ر ضی الہ ضنہdid the
unexpected (in the eyes of the ordinary people).
127
In other words, he caused such Roses of Patience, Perseverance,
Submission and Devotion to blossom, that the Garden of Submission
welcomed his sacrifice with open arms, for he gave such a sacrifice
for the Pleasure of Almighty Allah, that in order to uphold the Flag of
Truth, he sacrificed even his beloved son Sayyiduna Ali Asghar ر ضی الہ ضنہ
whilst holding him in his arms.
So, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis painting a beautiful picture in this
couplet, of the patience and the zeal of Sayyiduna Imam Husain ر ضی الہ ضنہ
and his willingness to remain patient and to submit totally to the Will
of Almighty Allah, and to give his Sacred Head for the pleasure of
Allah, as he smiled upon his destiny (i.e. he submitted to Allah's Will
happily), for he knew that, no matter what he and his Noble Family
faced on the plains of Karbala, they would finally enter Jannat, in the
shade of the Mercy of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺand that they would
be blessed once more with the blessed company of Sayyidatuna
Faatima Zahra ر ضی الہ ضا, Sayyiduna Ali Sher e Khuda ر ضی الہ ضنہand Sayyiduna
Imam Hasan ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
128
The other hidden sense of this couplet is that Sayyiduna Imam Husain
ر ضی الہ ضنہ, by his patience, caused Roses to Bloom in the Garden of
Thus, when he saw those Roses like Sayyidush Shuhada ر ضی الہ ضنہand the
other Martyrs Blooming with excitement, he smiled through this
difficult situation, for he was able to see his place in Jannah in the
Shade of Nabi ﷺand in the company of the Noble Ahle Bayt and the
Martyrs who had entered this Garden before him.

THE TWENTY-EIGHTH RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽

In the first line of this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis
giving the example of Sayyiduna Imam Hasan ر ضی الہ ضنہand thus the first
line of this couplet has gathered the essence of the Hadith of
Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ.
130
It is reported from Ibn Ab’bas ر ضی الہ ضیھاthat once, Imam Hasan ر ضی الہ ضنہ
arrived in the Exalted Court of the Beloved Rasool ( ﷺas a child) and
he ascended the Sacred Shoulders of the Beloved Rasool ﷺ. On
seeing this (beautiful sight), one of the Blessed Companions of Nabi
Kareem ﷺsaid,
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis describing this beautiful
moment with such beautiful words, and he is telling us that it was not
just Imam Hasan ر ضی الہ ضنہwho was ascending the Mubaarak Shoulders of
Rasoolullah ﷺ, but Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us in
this line of the couplet that apparently it seemed that Hazrat
Sayyiduna Imam Hasan ر ضی الہ ضنہwas climbing onto the Blessed Shoulders
of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, but the reality of the matter was the Beloved
Rasool ﷺwas granting him special honour and granting him an even
131
more exalted status, for it was the Beloved Rasool ﷺwho was
affording him this honour as a child, to sit on His ﷺSacred
Shoulders, and in doing so, the Beloved Nabi ﷺwas showing the
world until Qiyaamat, that this is the status and the grandness of my
Beloved Grandchildren. Also with the use of the words ‘Do Baala’
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us that Imam Hasan ر ضی الہ ضنہ
and Imam Husain ر ضی الہ ضنہare already exalted, for they are the Noble
Grandchildren of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, but Nabi ﷺBlessed them with
such love and affection that it enhanced their grandness even more.
In the second line of the couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
used the plural form. In other words, as per this narration, Sayyiduna
Imam Hasan ر ضی الہ ضنہwas on the Blessed Shoulders of Nabi Kareem ﷺ,
but Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ننہis saying that, Upon The
Beloved Grandchildren of The Nabi, All Prominence Itself Is Proud.
In other words, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis presenting a
very important fundamental rule that, at times one is mentioned but
all are included, and here it was Imam Hasan ر ضی الہ ضنہthat was granted
this apparent honour of being on the Mubaarak Shoulders of Nabi
Kareem ﷺ, but in reality this honour was being granted to both
Imam Hasan and Imam Husain ر ضی الہ ضیھاand the Beloved Nabi ﷺwas
showing us how He ﷺloved both his grandchildren, for the love of
Hasan is the love of Husain and the ascending of Hasan is the
ascending of Husain.
So here, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis showing the
application of this rule and is teaching us that even though this
narration mentions Imam Hasan, but both the Beloved Grandsons of
Nabi Kareem ﷺare so exalted that all prominence, all virtues and all
splendours are proud and gushing over the honour which has been
bestowed upon them.

of Huzoor e Mufti e Azam e Hind’s piety, for in this time and age, if
one diverts from the path of Sarkaar Mufti e Azam e Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہ, he
cannot really claim piety.
In other words, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis challenging
those who saw Sarkaar Mufti e Azam e Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہand those who
know about Huzoor Mufti e Azam e Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہ, but they try to carve a
path in Deen different from that of Sarkaar e Mufti e Azam Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہ,
and then they still claim to be pious.
What Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying is that, how can
you claim piety when you have left the way of that personality who is
the Imam of Piety in his era?
In other words, by diverting from their path, your claim of piety is just
a claim with no substance, and this is in accordance with the Holy
Qur’an as well, for Almighty Allah commands the Allah Fearing to
keep the company of the pious.

134
In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis in fact
presenting a concise commentary of the above mentioned verse of
the Holy Qur’an, and he is telling us that we have been commanded
to hold firmly to the pious, in order to become Allah Fearing and so
that we remain Allah Fearing, and then he is telling us that, the most
pious personality of our era was Huzoor Mufti e Azam e Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
This couplet of Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis also the reflection of
the famous couplet of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہin which the Imam
says,
So, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah is telling us that, the Leader of the True
Servants of our era is Huzoor Mufti e Azam e Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہ, and if you
wish to remain pious and if you wish to attain nearness to Almighty
Allah and if you wish to be protected from going astray, then hold
firmly to Sarkaar e Mufti e Azam e Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہnever wrote a Fatwa which was
different from the Fatwa of Huzoor Mufti e Azam e Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
135
In other words, he never gave any ruling which contradicted the
ruling of Huzoor Mufti e Azam e Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہand he lived his life as the
image and representation of the life and the way of Sarkaar e Mufti e
Azam e Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
He knew better than all of us that, true piety and being a truly
miraculous person is not about claiming to have supernatural abilities
and claiming piety, but true piety and miraculousness is in following
the Shari’at e Mustafa ﷺwith steadfastness and holding firmly to
the Commands of Almighty Allah and His Beloved Rasool ﷺ.

We, the Banu Hashim say that, undoubtedly Muhammad ﷺsaw His
Rab’b twice. [Munab’bih ul Muniyah of Imam Ahmed Raza With
Reference to Tirmizi Shareef]
138
Now, after saying this, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہsays, what
is there in the universe, that can be hidden from You? In other words,
he is saying, Ya Rasool’Allah !ﷺ
When Almighty Allah, Who is The Greatest Unseen is not hidden from
You, then how can anything else be hidden from Your Sight!
So, in this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ننہis saying, this
is that Nabi ﷺWho Saw Almighty Allah, so how can anything in the
creation ever be unseen to him.
This couplet of Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis also the reflection of
the famous couplet by Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہ, in
which he says,
Regarding the Ilm e Ghaib of Nabi ﷺ, Khalifa e Aala Hazrat, Allama
Mufti Mahmood Jaan Peshawari ر ضی الہ ضنہso beautifully says, Without
Doubt, Almighty Allah Blessed The Most Exalted, Glorified And
Blessed Rasool, The Means of Distribution, The Means For The
Creation of The Universe, The Beloved of Almighty Allah And The
Leader of All The Ambia, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa ﷺWith All
The Knowledge From The Beginning Until The End. Not Even An
Atom Has Been Hidden From His Blessed Knowledge. This (Ilm e
Ghaib) Is Only One Gem From The Unlimited Pearls of Knowledge
139
Which Have Been Bestowed Upon Muhammadur Rasoolullah ﷺ.
The Rays of Which Have Brightened And Enlightened The Hearts of
The Muslims. Those Who Reject This Knowledge Are As Blind As
Bats. The Lightning Bolt of Allah’s Wrath Fell Upon Them,
Destroying What They Had, For They Questioned And Protested!
[Eedha e Sunnat]
This is the power of the words of Allah’s Wali and there is no doubt
that Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis Allah’s Wali. Thus, we
always advise those who recite Na’at and Manqabat etc. to recite the
Kalaams of those who are Maqbool e Bargaah, in other words, those
who are accepted in the Court of Almighty Allah and His Beloved
Rasool ﷺ, for when they are accepted, then indeed their Kalaams
are accepted.

Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہwrote this Kalaam after the
Wisaal (Passing away) of Huzoor Amin e Shari’at ر ضی الہ ضنہ. He was a very
blessed and pious personality and spent his entire life in the love of
Almighty Allah and His Beloved Rasool ﷺ.
141
Huzoor Amin e Shari’at ر ضی الہ ضنہis the beloved son of Hazrat Hasnain
Raza Khan ر ضی الہ ضنہwho is the son of Ustadh e Zaman Shahanshah e
Sukhan, Hazrat Hasan Raza Khan ر ضی الہ ضنہ, who is the younger brother of
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahmed Raza Khan ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
Hazrat Amin e Shari’at ر ضی الہ ضنہis also the brother-in-law of Huzoor
Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہand the father-in-law of Huzoor Sayyidi
Qaa’id e Millat Qibla. However, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
did not love him and honour him only because he was such a close
family member and such a wonderful person, but his love for him
was for the sake of his love for Almighty Allah and His Beloved
Rasool ﷺ.
In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying about
Huzoor Sayyidi Amin e Shari’at ر ضی الہ ضنہthat, he is a marvellous and
fragrant flower. In other words, he is a beautiful rose and flower from
the Garden of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahmed Raza ر ضی الہ ضنہ, and he is
saying that he passed from this world and left this world smiling.
In other words, he left this world successfully and thus he left the
world smiling and happily, because he left this world with the love of
the Beloved Rasool ﷺ. This happiness and leaving the world smiling
is because he had in his heart the true love of Nabi Kareem ﷺand
this has also been mentioned in another couplet, wherein he says,
In His Heart He Always Preserved The Spot Of The Love Of The Nabi,
Taking This Radiant Lamp Of His Grave, Blissfully He Has Gone
142
In the above couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ننہis
mentioning the honour and the virtue of Huzoor Sayyidi Amin e
Shari’at, while at the same time, he is telling us that he is not only a
rose from the Garden of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہbecause he is a
family member, but he is also a rose in the garden of the hereafter
with Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
A point to be noted here is that Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
was born on the 26th of Muharram and the Wisaal of Huzoor Sayyidi
Amin e Shari’at ر ضی الہ ضنہwas on the 26th of Muharram and Huzoor Sayyidi
Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہalready knew before leaving this world that
from the elders of the Family, he will be next to pass from the world
after Hazrat Amin e Shari’at ر ضی الہ ضنہ. This is why in the final couplet of
the same Kalaam which he wrote in tribute to Hazrat Amin e Shari’at
ر ضی الہ ضنہhe said,
143
THE THIRTY-SECOND RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽
ت ببن ن ن
و نن ھم با نان ی ینوم ّ یدننن، و ٓہ و ببہ رام ا بن نین،دہ ونّی و م ی روہ ییرم
With these words, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis in a way
saying to Huzoor Ghaus e Paak ر ضی الہ ضنہthat my heart is so aggrieved due
to the attacks of the oppressors and the mischievous ones, that I do
144
not even know what to say and where to start, so all that I am saying
is, Ya Ghaus Al Madad.
Now, the question which arises here is that Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush
Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis not mentioning the grief and the details regarding the
unjust and mischievous ones, but rather he is just saying that they
are extremely mischievous and their malice is extreme.
So, why is he not mentioning any details about the extreme malicious
acts of the unjust to Ghaus e Paak ر ضی الہ ضنہand just saying that they are
extremely malicious?
Why is it that after saying this, he is instantly seeking the aid of Ghaus
e Paak ?ر ضی الہ ضنہ
This is because Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہknows and
believes that the Awliya are those Chosen Servants of Almighty Allah,
upon whose hearts the special Manifestations of Almighty Allah are
inspired, and they are aware of the condition of their followers and
their devotees even after they have left this world.
Further, it must be noted that Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis
presenting this plea in the Court of Ghaus e Paak ر ضی الہ ضنہbecause he
knows that, when the unjust and the enemies of the Deen and the
agents of unholy unity cause you distress, then go to the Court of
145
Shahanshah e Baghdad and seek his aid against them, for he knows
Ghaus e Paak ر ضی الہ ضنہhas said to those who love him,
Huzoor Ghaus e Paak ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling his mureeds, that those who
come against me will fail and cannot bear my offensive. This is why
one of the commentators of the Qasida Ghausiyah Shareef says,
Huzoor Sayyidi Sarkaar e Ghaus e Paak ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that, O my
Mureed! Do not fear any backbiter (or enemy) because I am
steadfast and a slayer of the enemy in battle. Ghaus e Paak ر ضی الہ ننہis
saying that his enemies have no courage and power before him and
they have no standing before him, for in every battle, ‘The Army of
Almighty Allah’ is always victorious.
146
Huzoor Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہalso says,
Why Should The One Upon Whom Is Your Hand, Feel Defeated?
When Even By A Lion, Your Dog Is Not Intimidated
So, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ is taking the support of this
word of Ghaus e Paak ر ضی الہ ضنہ,
Further, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis reminding us that, it is the
Aqida of the Ahle Sunnat that we seek Istimdaad, in other words, we
seek out the Special Aid from the Beloveds of Almighty Allah and we
believe that they can hear us and assist us and they are observing our
condition. Therefore, Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہquotes this statement
of Imam Sha’raani:
ﻤﺔ اﻟﻔﻘﻬﺎء واﻟﺼﻮﻓﻴﺔ ﻠﻬﻢ ﺸﻔﻌﻮن ي ﻣﻘﻠﺪﻳﻬﻢ و ﻳﻼﺣﻈﻮن اﺣﺪﻫﻢ ﻋﻨﺪ ﻃﻠﻮعÒان ا

Indeed, All The Imams, The Awliya And The Ulama (Fuqaha)
Intercede For Their Followers Respectively. When The Souls of Any
of Their Followers Depart (From This World), When Munkar And
Nakeer Question Them, When They Are Resurrected, When Their
Book of Deeds Are Unveiled, When They Are Called To
Accountability While Their Deeds Are Being Weighed And When
They Walk On Siraat (The Bridge), They Watch Over Them At All
Times And In Every Condition. In Fact, They Are Not Unmindful of
Them (i.e. of Their State) At Any Place. [Al Istimdaad of Sayyidi Aala
Hazrat]
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہstates that Imam Sha’raani ر ضی الہ ضنہfurther says,
When the Awliya (the Masha’ikh) watch over their followers and
disciples during all times of apprehension and difficulty in this world
and in the hereafter, then what can be said about the A’imma of
the Madhab. [Al Istimdaad of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat]
This couplet of Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis also a reflection
of the couplet of Huzoor Ghaus ul Waqt Sarkaar e Mufti e Azam e
Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہ, wherein he says,
148
THE THIRTY-THIRD RAY OF LUMINOSITY

149
In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis speaking about
the blessed manner in which Huzoor Mufassir e Azam ر ضی الہ ضنہwould
converse, and the manner in which he would convey The Message of
Islam. He is telling us that when he spoke, his words revived the
withering hearts. In other words, the words of Huzoor Mufassir e
Azam ر ضی الہ ضنہwould give hope to the hearts of those who went to him
for advice, and to those who listened to his discourses and lessons.
After saying this, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہsays that
Huzoor Mufassir e Azam Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہwas amongst those Blessed
Personalities, who shone brightly as the Manifestation of Allah’s
Most Beloved Rasool ﷺ. This was because Huzoor Mufassir e Azam
Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہwas always absorbed in the profound Love of the Beloved
Rasool ﷺand he would always be seen reciting Durood Shareef
upon the Beloved Rasool ﷺ. He strived to follow in the Sacred
Footsteps of the Beloved Rasool ﷺand thus strived to follow and
uphold the Sunnat.
150
He would often be heard saying,
• When You Have Done Everything, Still Think That You Have
Done Nothing
These Gems from the blessed lips of Huzoor Mufas’sir e Azam e Hind
ر ضی الہ ضنہfurther support what Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضن ہsays
151
THE THIRTY-FOURTH RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽
ت ببن ن ن
و نن ھم با نان ی ینوم ّ یدننن، و ٓہ و ببہ رام ا بن نین،دہ ونّی و م ی روہ ییرم
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis giving hope to all of us and
saying that even though you have sinned and made mistakes in your
lives, repent sincerely, and do not be anxious, for The Intercessor of
those who are carrying the burden of sins, is our Beloved Nabi ﷺand
He is Shafi’ ul Muznibeen ﷺ.
152
In saying this, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis also refuting the
Wahabis etc. who say that the Beloved Rasool ﷺdoes not have this
power and that intercession is not as we think it is. They deceive the
Believers and give the false concept of Shafa’at.
So, while refuting this, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling
us, that do not be anxious and do not think that your Nabi ﷺcannot
benefit you in any way but know that the Beloved Rasool ﷺhas
been chosen and appointed by Almighty Allah to intercede for the
sinners, and until and unless the Beloved Rasool ﷺdoes not open
the Doors of Intercession, none will be able to intercede.
Ghaus ul Waqt, Huzoor Sayyidi Mufti e Azam e Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہbeautifully
says, Rasoolullah ﷺis already chosen and appointed for
intercession. Without Him ﷺ, none can open the Door (of
Intercession). In fact, the intercession of all others, is before
Huzoor ﷺ, and the Intercessor in the Grand Court of Allah, is
Huzoor ﷺ. [The Appendices of Al Istimdaad]
Our Aqida is that our Beloved Nabi ﷺis already appointed, and
therefore, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us that, do
not be anxious and do not feel that you will be alone on that day, for
on that day the Intercessor is The Beloved Rasool ﷺ.
153
The Beloved Rasool ﷺsaid,
slaves of Mustafa Jaan e Rahmat ﷺ, so never think that you are
alone, for our Nabi ﷺis Shafi’ ul Muznibeen ﷺ.
In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis also presenting
the reflection of the beautiful couplet of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam
Ahle Sunnat Ash Shah Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Qaadiri Barakaati ر ضی الہ ضنہ
in which he says,
154
THE THIRTY-FIFTH RAY OF LUMINOSITY

After mentioning this Dua, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis
saying, let me tell you why I am making Dua for Maslak e Aala Hazrat
to prevail and remain elevated. It is because in this era, Maslak e Aala
Hazrat is the true recognition of the Deen of The Beloved Nabi ﷺ,
and it is this, which is the real Maslak e Ahle Sunnat.
155
What does Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہmean here when he
says that Maslak e Aala Hazrat is the recognition of Deen e Nabi ?ﷺ
The best answer to this question can be found in the words of Huzoor
Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہitself.
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ننہsays, Allah Almighty has
appointed and chosen Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہto guide people like us in
this era, and (he chose him) for the sake of serving His Deen. This is
a great blessing of Allah upon him that he granted him the special
right of serving the Religion, and in the correct time as needed, He
granted him the special responsibility of guiding the Ahle Sunnat
Wa Jama’at and fighting the corrupt sects.
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہfurther says, Allah and His
Rasool ﷺgranted him such a blessing; that love for him, has
become the means of the recognition of the Righteous Men.
Through his name, the Deen of Allah and The Deen of
Rasoolullah ﷺand the Deen of the Sahaba e Kiraam and The Ahle

Bayt e At’haar ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن ضينand from one era to the next, the Deen of
the Awliya Allah, being the Deen of Huzoor Ghaus e Azam ر ضی الہ ضنہ, and
the Deen of Imam e Azam ر ضی الہ ضنہbecame recognised (i.e. is
identified). His name and city became a means of the recognition of
the True Religion and another name of Maslak e Ahle Sunnat in the
era became Maslak e Aala Hazrat.
This is what Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis explaining in this
couplet, and this is why he is making Dua for the Maslak of Aala
Hazrat to prevail, for Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہfought against the
deviants his entire life and made sure that the True Message of the
Deen of Nabi Kareem ﷺwas protected from the modernists and
from the agents of unholy unity (i.e. the Sulhe Kullis).

Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us that the Authority of
Nabi Kareem ﷺis universal. In other words, the Grand Authority of
Nabi Kareem ﷺprevails over the skies and the earth and it prevails
over every region and domain.
157
The Beloved Rasool ﷺhad been blessed with such Grand Authority
from the Divine Court of Almighty Allah that, He ﷺmay do as He ﷺ
Wishes and He ﷺmay change what He ﷺwishes. In other words,
Almighty Allah has made Nabi Kareem ﷺMaalik o Mukhtar and this
is why The Beloved Nabi ﷺbrought back the sun which had already
set in the West, to the East, and this is why He ﷺsplit the moon with
His ﷺMubaarak Finger, and moved the Moon while He ﷺwas still
in His ﷺcradle.
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that Almighty Allah has
given Him ﷺsuch authority that He ﷺmay transform the sky into
the earth and the earth into the sky and not only this, but He ﷺmay
bring the Galaxy of Stars from the Heights of the Skies to the lowest
level beneath the core of the earth. This could also mean that He ﷺ
may take a king and make him a mendicant and then take a
mendicant and make him a King. All of this, is because Allah Almighty
has given everything in the Grand Control of Nabi Kareem ﷺand in
reality everything has been created for Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
This is the Manifestation of the couplet of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضن ہ
wherein he said,
158
THE THIRTY-SEVENTH RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽

In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis explaining the
Grand Excellence and The Radiant Beauty of Nabi Kareem ﷺ. Every
Muslim waits anxiously, to place his or her sight upon the Holy
Kaa’ba. When a person reaches the Holy Haram e Makkah, the first
thing that he or she wishes to see and that which his or her sight
seeks out, is the Holy Kaa’ba.
159
Here, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that everyone seeks out
the Kaa’ba, but the Holy Kaa’ba is looking towards Rasoolullah ﷺ, for
the One Who Cleansed The Kaa’ba of Idols and Idol Worship, is
Rasoolullah ﷺ, and the One Towards Whose Home, The Kaa’ba
Shareef Bowed, Is Rasoolullah ﷺ.
So, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis in fact telling us that which
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہsaid,
160
THE THIRTY-EIGHTH RAY OF LUMINOSITY

Fragrance is prevailing in all the gardens. Here, he has said ‘All The
Gardens’ to show that this Mubaarak Fragrance is not only prevailing
in the gardens of the earth, but it is also prevailing in the Gardens of
Paradise.
He further says that, fragrance itself and the real fragrance, is the
Blessed Fragrance of Nabi Kareem ﷺ. In other words, the essence of
every pure fragrance is through the Blessings of the Fragrance of
161
Nabi Kareem ﷺ, and he emphasises that there is no fragrance more
fragrant than the Mubaarak Fragrance of Nabi Kareem ﷺ. And what
do we know about this Mubaarak Fragrance of Nabi Kareem ?ﷺ
Hazrat Anas ر ضی الہ ضنہsays that, when Nabi Kareem ﷺwould pass by any
street, the people smelt such a Beautiful Fragrance on that street,
that they would proclaim, It is only Allah's Beloved Rasool ﷺwho
passed by here.
Hazrat Anas ر ضی الہ ضنہfurther says, I smelt all types of perfumes, be it
Musk or Amber, but I did not smell any fragrance sweeter than the
Fragrance which flowed from the Sacred Body of Rasoolullah ﷺ.
Imam Bukhari ر ضی الہ ضنہquotes a narration from Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah
ر ضی الہ ضنہin Taarikh e Kabeer that, when Nabi ﷺpassed by any place,
then the person who came afterwards would be able to sense the
fragrance of Nabi ﷺand he would know that Huzoor ﷺpassed by
this place. This beautiful, sweet fragrance was from the Jism e Athar
of Nabi Kareem ﷺand not from the fragrance which He ﷺused.

Murshid e Kareem Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that

people such as Hazrat Abu Bakr, Hazrat Umar, Hazrat Uthman and

Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis then humbling himself in the
Court of the Beloved Rasool ﷺand requesting His ﷺSpecial
Blessings and saying that Ya Rasool’Allah !ﷺYou have blessed the
best of the best; now place your blessed sight on sinful ones like us as
well, so that we too may become pious and virtuous through Your
Blessed Sight.
Hazrat Shaiba Ibn Uthman ر ضی الہ ضنہexplains how he became a Muslim. He
says, I was fighting against the Muslims on the side of the unbelievers
during the Ghazwa e Hunain. I remembered that my father and my
ضی
uncle were killed by Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Hamzah ر ضی الہ ھا. So, I
thought, why should I not avenge their deaths today and kill their
Nabi Muhammad ﷺ.
164
With this intention, I proceeded towards Huzoor ﷺ. I was just about
to attack Him ﷺwhen a huge ball of fire, like lightning, came
towards me. I turned on my heels and fled. As I fled, the Blessed Sight
of Allah’s Nabi ﷺfell upon me. Rasoolullah ﷺsaid, ‘O Shaiba!’

By seeking Aid from Huzoor Ghaus e Paak ر ضی الہ ضنہ, Huzoor Sayyidi
Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis reinforcing the Aqida of The Ahle Sunnat Wa
Jama’at that we believe in Istimdaad.
166
This is the message which Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis
conveying in this couplet, by seeking the Aid of Sarkaar e Ghaus e
Paak ر ضی الہ ضنہ, who is not just a 'Peer' (A Spiritual Guide), but he is indeed
the Peer of all the Peers (The Grand Spiritual Master of The Spiritual
Masters).
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis then telling us that, Huzoor
Ghaus e Paak ر ضی الہ ضنہis not only the Peer of all the Peers, but he is that
Kaamil Peer who is The Leader of all the Pious Ones. In other words,
he is the Leader of the Mystics. Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis
not simply saying this on his own accord, but he is saying this because
even the great Awliya who came before Ghaus e Paak ر ضی الہ ضنہ
announced that he is the Peer of the Peers and the Leader of the
Awliya.
After he exited this deep spiritual state, his disciples questioned him
concerning these words, and he said, I Have Been Informed That, A
Great Saint Will Be Born Towards The End of The Fifth Century. His
Name Will Be Abdul Qaadir And His Title Will Be Muhiy'yud’deen.
He Will Be Born In Jilan, And He Will Reside In Baghdad. One Day,
On The Command of Allah, He Will Say, ‘My Foot Is On The Necks of
All The Awliyah Allah.’ While In The State of Spiritual Meditation, I
Saw His Excellence And These Words Were Uttered By Me Without
My Control.
167
This is Ghaus e Azam ر ضی الہ ضنہand this is the grand personality from
whom Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis seeking aid, for all the
Awliyah have clearly acknowledged the Wilaayat of Huzoor Ghaus e
Paak ر ضی الہ ضنہ. This couplet of Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ننہis the
reflection of the couplet of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہin which he said,
168
THE FORTY-FIRST RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽
ت ببن ن ن
و نن ھم با نان ی ینوم ّ یدننن، و ٓہ و ببہ رام ا بن نین،دہ ونّی و م ی روہ ییرم
169
In this couplet, it apparently seems that Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush
Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis only expressing his sadness, but by him saying, where
have you gone? Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying, that
this is Amin e Shari’at, the personality whom I regard as the Karaamat
of Huzoor Mufti e Azam e Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہand a personality who was
always absorbed in the love of the Beloved Nabi ﷺand who is not
any ordinary person, but he is that person who is a fragrant rose from
the blossoming Garden of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
So, when Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہcommenced with this
couplet which is the opening couplet of a Kalaam which he wrote in
tribute to Hazrat Amin e Shari’at ر ضی الہ ضنہ, he was saying, yes, we all know
that Hazrat Amin e Shari’at ر ضی الہ ضنہhas left this world and he has
journeyed into the hereafter, but let’s ask him, about whereto has he
really gone? In other words, to which great height has his soul
ascended?
170
Huzoor Murshid e Kareem ر ضی الہ ضنہsaid and wrote this, so that we may
realise who this great personality is, and so that we may strengthen
our Aqida about the pious servants of Allah. In other words, we
should always remind ourselves that they have gone to Jannat, and if
we too wish to reach Paradise, we should hold firmly to their way,
and we too will reach our final abode.
In the said couplet when Huzoor Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہasked, where
have you gone? Then, there is an ocean of information flowing in that
question alone. In another couplet regarding Huzoor Amin e Shari’at
ر ضی الہ ضنہ, Murshid e Kareem is telling us that, he has reached the heights
of paradise as the rose of Imam Ahmed Raza, but what was his secret
and the means of his success? Huzoor Murshid e Kareem ر ضی الہ ضنہsays,
In His Heart He Always Preserved The Spot Of The Love Of The Nabi,
Taking This Radiant Lamp Of His Grave, Blissfully He Has Gone

However, all of this which I have mentioned above are matters which
are understood from this couplet in the apparent and clear sense. Let
us now look a bit deeper at this couplet and let us try to understand
the spiritual sense of what Murshid e Kareem Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush
Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us.
It feels as if Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis in fact speaking to
the Beloved Rasool ﷺin his state of profound love, and in doing so,
it seems that when Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah said,
173
It is as if he was in such a profound state of Ishq e Mustafa ﷺthat he
was seeing the Beloved Rasool ﷺ, and he was saying, Ya Rasool'Allah
!ﷺThe Cause For The Pleasure in Life, The Consolation To The Soul,
and the true beauty of life is not this materialistic world, it is not the
pomp and splendour of this world, it is not our wealth, it is not our

Murshid e Kareem Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ننہis reminding
and warning us about the destructive outcome of adopting western
culture. He is telling us that, O Muslims! You are Believers, you are
the servants of Almighty Allah and the slaves of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, so
why are you so influenced by this western culture?
175
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis then telling us that, we should
break free from the shackles of western culture and ideology.
Many of them have become trapped into slavery of the West. They
feel that they are held in esteem when they dress like the
unbelievers, and when they behave like the unbelievers, and when
they adopt their culture. They regard this as liberation, and they feel
that this gives them strength and that they are being afforded their
rights.

Battle), And I Have Resolved To Seek Your Blessed Advice. He ﷺ
Said, Do You Have A Mother (i.e. Is Your Mother Alive)? He Said,
Yes! Remain With Her, For Paradise Is Under Her Feet. [Nasa’i
Shareef]
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis reminding us about this and he
is commanding us to break free from the shackles of the western
ideology, so that we do not fall into complete destruction.
Therefore, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that those of
you that proudly wear a necktie, thinking it makes you look good; to
the extent you wear it during your weddings and during your other
occasions; then know, that this is not something to be proud of, and
it is not beauty (i.e. light), but it is darkness, because it is the sign and
177
the mark of the western and Christian culture and it is that which will
cause you darkness here and in the hereafter.
He is telling us that if you wish for true radiance and brightness, then
forsake their way and adopt the Sunnah of the Beloved
Rasool ﷺand you will attain pure light here and in the hereafter.
This is why Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہsaid in his renowned
Tie Fatwa, ‘Hazrat Mufti e Azam e Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہused to say that the Tie
is a refutation of the Quran. The persons sitting in the presence of
Hazrat Mufti e Azam e Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہalways observed him expressing
annoyance when he saw anybody wearing a tie around their neck.
Hazrat Mufti e Azam Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہused to make that person take off his
tie. Further, he used to call it the sign of the Christians.’
This is why Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہused to often say,
‘Untie Your Ties With The Tie.’ So, it is also this message, which
Hazrat is communicating in this couplet, when he says,

Subhaan’Allah! Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying, when I
leave this world and the Angels enter my grave to question me, and
even though it is the most difficult time, I have hope and I have faith
in the Mercy of Almighty Allah and in the Special Blessings of Nabi
Kareem ﷺthat, when the Angels do come to question me, and when
179
they look at me, they will say to each other, Now Let him sleep
comfortably; in other words, put him to sleep peacefully, for he is
already absorbed in the love of Aaqa e Do Aalam ﷺ, and he is so
profoundly absorbed in the Love of Nabi Kareem ﷺthat the answer
is already visible from his state, and it is clear that he is a true slave of
Rasoolullah ﷺ.
It could also mean that when they look at me as they question me,
they should simply look at me and already know my answer, even
before I respond, as they will recognise me as a true slave of Nabi
Kareem ﷺ.
What Murshid e Kareem ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying here is that this is the wish of
every Aashiq e Mustafa ﷺthat, when they see him in his grave and
question him, then even before his answer, they should say, Let him
sleep comfortably, for he is a true slave of Aaqa Kareem ﷺ.
Now, to better understand why Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
is saying this, we need to look at the couplet in the Kalaam which
follows the couplet which we are discussing. Within it, Huzoor Sayyidi
Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہsays,
180
In other words, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that, it
is my wish and the wish of every Aashiq e Rasool ﷺthat when I die,
the Beloved Nabi ﷺshould say to the Angels, Do Not Wake Him
Now, For He Has Just Fallen Asleep In My Love.
In other words, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that, I
will make this request to Nabi Kareem ﷺas I pass away, that Ya
Rasool’Allah ﷺ, tell them to allow me to remain asleep in Your Love
and in the Love of Your Mubaarak Face.
In saying this, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis explaining his
deep love for Nabi Kareem ﷺand his expectation and his Yaqeen
(conviction), that when Akhtar Raza closes his eyes, he will be able to
say this to Nabi Kareem ﷺ, for at that moment Akhtar Raza and
every true slave of Nabi ﷺwill be blessed with seeing the Nabi ﷺin
their final moments.

Ye Kya Sawaal He Mujh Se, Ke Kis Ka Banda Hai

Now, when we read this couplet of Huzoor Mufti e Azam e Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہ,
we will understand the initial couplet of Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ,
as to another reason why the Angels should say, Let Him Sleep
Comfortably!

Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis firstly telling us that, O Sunnis!
We are all truly blessed to have kindled in our hearts the flame of the
love of the Beloved Rasool ﷺ. In other words, he is telling us that
this flame is not any ordinary flame, but it is the flame of the Love,
Remembrance and Reminiscence of Allah’s Most Beloved Rasool ﷺ.
183
In this couplet, he is also passing another important message. He is
telling us in a veiled manner, that the real Sunnis are those who have
kindled and ignited in their hearts the true love for Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
In other words, he is telling us that we are the real Sunnis, for we are
the ones who remember the Beloved Rasool ﷺwith complete love
and devotion, also we are the ones who have kindled
His ﷺRemembrance in our hearts, and we are the ones, who sit in
the remembrance of Nabi Kareem ﷺand we are the ones, when we
gather in the love of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, the Najdis are infuriated and
burn in enmity. In other words, the real Sunnis are the Sunni
Bareilvis, for we are the ones who cause the hearts of the Najdis and
all the deviants to be incinerated.
In saying this, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis also passing
another message. He is saying that the real Sunnis are not those who
befriend the Najdis, the Wahabis, the Deobandis, the Sulhe-Kullis and
the other deviant sects, but they are those, that when they sit
together and remember Almighty Allah and His Beloved Rasool ﷺ,
they cause the evil and diseased hearts of the deviants to burn.
In other words, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that, if
you wish to keep the enemies of Almighty Allah and His
Rasool ﷺaway from you, and if you wish to incinerate their hearts
184
and burn down their bastions of kufr, then increase the
remembrance of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, by reciting Durood Shareef in
abundance and by sending Durood and Salaams upon Nabi
Kareem ﷺin all your gatherings, and in this way, you will burn their
hearts and further ruin them.
In saying this, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis also saying that
it is the duty of the Sunnis to remember the Beloved Rasool ﷺin a
manner whereby they also refute the enemies of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, as
this was the manner of Great Personalities such as Hazrat Has’saan
Ibn Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہand all the other Beloveds of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
In this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis encouraging us
to say, Ya Rasool’Allah ﷺ, for the Najdis burn in enmity when they
hear this, and he is further encouraging the Sunnis to increase the
gatherings of the remembrance of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, for in the
remembrance of the Beloved Rasool ﷺis the remembrance of
Almighty Allah, and therefore it is mentioned in Shifa Shareef that
Almighty Allah said to Huzoor e Aqdas ﷺ,
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہalso inspires this message in
another one of his poetic couplets, from which it is understood that
the remembrance which burns the hearts of the Najdis is the
commemorating of the Meelad Shareef,

In the first line of this couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis
reminding us once again about the Aqida of The Ahle Sunnat. In other
words, he is highlighting the Aqida, that The Beloved Rasool ﷺis
indeed our Benefactor, by the Grace of Almighty Allah. It is our Aqida
that Almighty Allah has made Nabi Kareem ﷺthe Most Generous
amongst the entire creation and Blessed Him ﷺwith The Grand
Power and Authority of Legislation and Distribution.
187
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis then speaking to himself in the
second line of the couplet and saying that, how did you even consider
that you would be turned away empty handed from the Grand Court
of Nabi Kareem ?ﷺThis is only the Nafs (i.e. the inner self) which is
trying to cause this complexity, for in reality The Beloved Nabi ﷺis
the Benefactor by Allah’s Divine Decree, and everything that
everyone receives in this world is through Nabi Kareem ﷺ, for
He ﷺsays,
Now, if one reads the couplet carefully, you will realise that Huzoor
Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis not only speaking to himself, but he is
also speaking to every Aashiq e Rasool ﷺand in doing so, he is first
addressing himself rather than addressing the people at large, as this
is the manner of humility, whereby the true servants of Allah do not
advise the people before they address themselves.
So, it seems as if what Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying
to himself and that which he is conveying to every Sunni Sahih ul
Aqida Muslim is that, there are times while seeking the Special
Blessings of Nabi Kareem ﷺand when going to Madina Shareef, that
the mind and the heart starts to wander, and one starts to think that
I am so weak and I do not know how to really ask, as I am not even
worthy of this; and sometimes the mind and thoughts say to you
that, you will probably come back empty-handed and you will not
receive what you wished for, and you probably will not attain those
blessings which you expected, because you are such a weak and
sinful servant.
188
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis thus addressing himself and
saying, how could you even think this way? In other words, O Akhtar!
And O every Aashiq e Mustafa !ﷺYour Nabi ﷺis the Most Exalted
and The Most Revered in the entire creation and there is none more
generous than Him ﷺ, and none in Allah’s Creation loves you more
than Him ﷺ.
He ﷺis that Nabi ﷺ, who would spend His ﷺnights weeping for us.
He ﷺnever allowed us to remain empty-handed at any stage in
His ﷺBlessed Life, and He ﷺWill neither allow us to return empty-
handed today, nor will He ﷺallow us to be empty-handed on the
Day of Reckoning, for He ﷺis Rahmatulil Aalameen. He is the Mercy
unto the Worlds, and it is through His ﷺMercy and through
His ﷺMediation that the entire universe is surviving. So, how will
He ﷺever leave you empty-handed, for you are from amongst those
who love Him ﷺ, and He ﷺis aware of the condition of your heart.
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis then saying, O Allah! I repent
and I reject such a thought, for this is not what I believe, and it is not
what any Aashiq believes, but this is the tactic of the Nafs (inner self)
to make you feel vulnerable, and it seems as if Huzoor Sayyidi
Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying, O Akhtar Raza, the truth of the matter
is that which your Noble Forefather Imam Ahmed Raza Khan ر ضی الہ ضنہ
said,
189
From The Court Of My Generous Master,
For A Single Drop If Anyone Wished,
In other words, how can you be left empty-handed from the Court of
The Beloved Rasool ﷺ, for no matter how weak and sinful you may
think you are, His ﷺSpecial Blessing is there for this reason, so that
you are not left unrewarded, and our Nabi ﷺis He ﷺ, regarding
Whom, my Noble Grandfather taught us, that if you ask The Beloved
Nabi ﷺfor a single drop, He ﷺgrants you oceans, and not only does
he grant you the oceans, but He ﷺeven grants you the most
precious pearls which are in the depths of the oceans, so always
know that our Nabi ﷺwill never turn us away empty-handed.
This couplet of Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis teaching us
how to truly love Nabi ﷺand how to shun and control our Nafs if it
ever tries to leave us vulnerable. It also teaches us how to fortify our
faith and our conviction in the Grand Generosity of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
Finally, it must be said that this couplet is in fact the manifestation of
a couplet which was written by the Maternal Grandfather and the
Murshid e Kaamil of Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ, Ghaus ul
Waqt, Huzoor Sayyidi Mufti e Azam e Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہ, who said,

There is no doubt that we will all die one day, and it is a fact that this
world is only a transit point towards the ultimate journey into the
hereafter. However, many have lost sight of the true meaning of
success, and many have forgotten about what our means of being
blessed with a great life in the hereafter is.
191
It is this, which Huzoor Murshid e Kareem, Sarkaar e Taajush Shariah
ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying in this couplet. He is saying that if you want an
In other words, sacrifice the pleasures of this worldly life and sacrifice
the temporary, transitory and materialistic entities of this perishing
world and this ending life, for the great and everlasting life of the
hereafter, by making the Beloved Rasool ﷺand the Love of the
Beloved Rasool ﷺthe purpose of your life.
Here, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis speaking in a spiritual riddle. He
is saying that, if you sacrifice everything for Him ﷺand breathe your
last breath in His ﷺLove, then you will attain a life without
remission; in other words, you will be blessed with an everlasting life,
and then he is saying, why then should you not love death?
192
He is saying that if you truly love Rasoolullah ﷺ, why should you not
love death, for the only means of attaining this life in which you will
see the Beloved Nabi’s ﷺSacred Manifestation and be blessed with
an everlasting life, is if you leave this world with Imaan, and to die
with Imaan is to die in the love of Nabi ﷺ, as a true slave of Nabi ﷺ.
So, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying to himself and to us that,
when to die in the love of Nabi Kareem ﷺis the means of an
everlasting life, then love death, and when you love death because of
the love of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, then death itself will embrace you with
love, and your soul will be removed in the love of your Master ﷺ.
In other words, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis teaching us that, dying
in the love of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, and sacrificing everything for
Nabi ﷺis the means to true life in the hereafter, for the Sahaba e

have received such a blessed position in the hereafter.
Hazrat Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہsacrificed everything in the love of Nabi
Kareem ﷺ, and he was even willing to give his life in the love of
Nabi ﷺ, and he was blessed with such a wonderful everlasting life,
that he got to rest beside The Beloved Rasool ﷺ, and he got to
remain in His ﷺBlessed Shade until Qiyaamat.
Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہknew that true life is to be a slave of Nabi
Kareem ﷺ, and to be willing to even sacrifice your life for Him ﷺ,
like he did in the cave of Thaur, for this is the grandest Fard and
obligation in life, and this awards the true lover with a life which is
beyond one’s imagination.
The essence of this couplet of Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہcan be
observed in the following couplet of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Azeemul
Barkat ر ضی الہ ضنہ:
193
Saabit Huwa Ke Jumla Faraa’iz Furoo’ Haiñ
Asl ul Usool Bandagi Us Taajwar Ki Hai
Ibn Abdur Rabah ر ضی الہ ضنہsaid to Makhool, ‘Do You Like (Desire)
Jannat?’ He Replied, ‘Who Would Not Like (Desire) Jannat?’ So, He
Said, ‘Love Death Because One Can Never See Jannat (In Reality)
Before Dying.’ [Sharhus Sudoor]

The reason for me saying ‘within your heart’, is because true love is
that which is in the heart, and it is this Love, which Huzoor Sayyidi
Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us to increase and strengthen.
The First Perspective: Is the apparent sense, which means that if you
wish to extinguish the flames of Hell, then increase the flames of
love.
Now here, in the apparent sense, this means that if you wish to
extinguish the flames of the hereafter, then increase the flame of
true love. Now, which love is Murshid e Kareem speaking about? He
is speaking about the True Love for Nabi e Kareem ﷺ.
196
It is reported by Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud ر ضی الہ ضنہ that the Beloved
Nabi ﷺsaid,
س ﹻي ﻳﹷ ْﻮ ﹷم ا ْﻟﻘ ﹷﹻﻴﺎ ﹷﻣﺔﹻ أﹷ ْﻛﹷﹹه ْﹹﻢ ﻋﹷ ﹷ ﹽﹷ ﹷﺻﻼﹷ ﹱة
أﹷ ْو ﹷ اﻟ ﹽﹷﻨﺎ ﹻ
This, I think is because Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling
us that, we are all Aashiqaan e Mustafa ﷺand the heart of every
Aashiq e Nabi ﷺalready has the lamp of love present in it.
197
This is the kind of love and these are the flames of love which Sayyidi
Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis speaking about in this couplet.
In this couplet of Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ, there is also the
reflection of the couplet of his Noble Forefather Sayyidi Aala Hazrat
Imam Ahle Sunnat Ash Shah Imam Ahmed Raza Khan ر ضی الہ ضنہwherein,
the Has'saan ul Hind says,
198
THE FORTY-NINTH RAY OF LUMINOSITY

In other words, the Grand Authority of Nabi Kareem ﷺis over the
Worldly Domain and over The Heavenly Domain as well. Allah
Almighty is Rab’bul Aalameen.
Nabi Kareem ﷺis the Nabi of the humans and the Jinns, and He ﷺis
the Nabi of all on the earth. Nabi Kareem ﷺis also the Nabi of the
sun, the moon, the stars and the Heavens, so He ﷺis also Nabi ul
Ambia ﷺand He ﷺis the Nabi of all The Angels as well. Thus, He ﷺ
has been blessed with Authority over all of them, and thus indeed,
He ﷺhas Authority over both the worlds. The Beloved ﷺhas been
blessed with such Grand Authority that we have been commanded to
take whatever He ﷺGives and to abstain from whatever He ﷺ
Forbids, just as Almighty Allah says in Surah Hashr, Verse 7:
And whatever the Beloved Rasool gives, take it, and whatever
he forbids, abstain from it. [Surah Hashr (59), Verse 7]
200
It is this message, which Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis
conveying in this couplet. In other words, here too, the Word of Nabi
Kareem ﷺis Final and there too, the word of Nabi Kareem ﷺis
final. Thereafter, in the second line of the couplet, Huzoor Sayyidi
Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that, every kingdom and every country
of the world has a Capital City, but the Capital City of the entire
universe is Madina Shareef. In other words, the Capital City of The
Heavens and The Capital City of the Entire Earth, is Madina Shareef,
and The Authority and The Directives of Nabi Kareem ﷺare being
Decreed from His ﷺRaudha Shareef in Madina Shareef. So, Murshid
e Kareem ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that in both the worlds is the Grand Authority
of Nabi Kareem ﷺand the Most Exalted Station of all, The Grand
Stations, is The Raudha e Rasool ﷺwhich is in Madina Shareef, so
over every place in the Skies and Earth, is the Grandness of Madina
Shareef.
Here, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis expressing that, indeed
the Grand Authority of Nabi ﷺis over both the worlds, and Madina
Shareef is the Grand Capital of the Universe, for in reality, both the
worlds have been created for Nabi ﷺ. Thus, Sayyidi Aala Hazrat
Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Faazil e Bareilvi ر ضی الہ ضنہsays,
201
THE FIFTIETH RAY OF LUMINOSITY
﷽
ت ببن ن ن
و نن ھم با نان ی ینوم ّ یدننن، و ٓہ و ببہ رام ا بن نین،دہ ونّی و م ی روہ ییرم
We all know well that the grave is a very dark and constricted place,
and once a person is placed in his grave and the grave is covered with
sand and sealed, then the darkness of the grave is darker than the
darkest night.
202
We also know that when one is in complete darkness, it causes one
to feel afraid, anxious and restless, and thus when one enters the
dark grave, one will most certainly feel a sense of apprehension, for
in the grave, each one of us will have to face Munkar and Nakeer, the
two Angels who have been appointed by Almighty Allah to question
us in our graves. Their appearance is sufficient to cause the dweller of
the grave, fear and apprehension, like never felt or experienced
before.
Now, after saying this, he also mentions how this darkness of the
grave, which is darker than the darkest night, will be transformed
into brightness, brighter than the brightest days. Huzoor Sayyidi
Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that this darkness can only disappear,
and the light for which I am wishing can only appear, when the ‘One’,
Whom I desire to meet, enters my grave.
Who is Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہtalking about? He is talking about
none other than, The Brightest Lamp of Our Graves, The Noor of
Almighty Allah, Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ. Huzoor Sayyidi
Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہsays, that my dark grave, which is expected to
be darker than night, will be transformed into brightness, which is
brighter than the brightest day, when in my grave, appears Allah’s
Beloved and my Master Nabi Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ.
203
He is saying that this is my wish, and this is my desire, for I know that
when He ﷺwill enter my grave, and I will get to make Ziyaarah of
the Beloved Nabi ﷺ, then my entire grave will be bursting with Noor
(Light), for the Beloved Rasool ﷺis ‘The Noor of Allah’ and when He
ﷺenters my grave, then His ﷺRadiance, will illuminate my entire
grave.
It is this very same message which Huzoor Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہ
conveys in one of his beautiful couplets, when he says,
In this couplet, Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہis also reinforcing the
Aqida of the Ahle Sunnat, that the Beloved Rasool ﷺwill indeed
appear in our graves and we will be blessed with seeing the Beloved
Rasool ﷺand we will most certainly see Him ﷺ. Huzoor Sayyidi
Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہdiscusses this Aqida of the Ahle Sunnat in one of
his Blessed Discourses.
204
The Great Imam says, The grave is the test and examination centre
for everyone, for both the truthful ones and the liars. This is the
examination spot for everyone. In this domain, (i.e. in the grave), we
will be asked three questions:
ﹷﻣ ْﻦ ﹷر ﹽﹹﺑﻚﹷ
ﷲ
ﹷر ﹷ ا ﹹ
My Rab’b Is Allah
ﹷﻣﺎ دﹻﻳْﻨﹹﻚﹷ
My Deen is Islam
205
The Third And Deciding Question is:
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہthen says, I want to ask you
something. In Arabic we say ‘Haadha’, in Urdu we say ‘Ye’ and ‘Wo’,
and in English we say ‘This’. These are used to indicate, point at or
gesture at or towards something (which is near). When you indicate,
(i.e. gesture) towards something, what is the requirement for it?
At this time, the one who accepted the Beloved Rasool ﷺas a
Rasool, in other words, even without seeing Him ﷺhe accepted Him
ﷺ as the Rasool, He will stand up, and say, This is Allah’s Rasool ﷺ.
[End of Discussion From The Discourse]
206
Therefore, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہsays in another one of
his Kalaams,
Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہsays in one of his Blessed Discourses,
When a person keeps such a strong connection to Rasoolullah ﷺ,
then when he passes away, his grave becomes radiant and full of
light.
Such a person kept his relation and connection with the Noor Waala
(i.e. The Most Radiant Personality), and that Noor Waala is such a
Noor Waala, that His ﷺDeen is Noor, His ﷺKalima is Noor, and
hence the one who sincerely recites His ﷺKalima, also becomes
Noorani (i.e. radiant) and when he passes away and enters his grave,
then his grave is illuminated.
In this final couplet of this book, Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam e Ahle
Sunnat Ash Shah Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Qaadiri Barakaati Sunni
Hanafi Bareilvi ر ضی الہ ضنہis conveying an important message. He is telling
us to absorb and drown ourselves in the love of Sayyiduna
Rasoolullah ﷺand to wish for and to desire His ﷺZiyaarat more
than anything else, so that when we leave this world and enter our
dark graves, then our dark graves will be transformed into brightness,
through the Blessed Countenance of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.

SAYYIDI A’LAA HAZRAT IMAM AHLE SUNNAT ASH
SHAH IMAM AHMED RAZA KHAN QAADIRI
BARAKAATI IS ‘A SIGN OF RECOGNITION’ FOR THE
DEEN OF ALMIGHTY ALLAH & HIS BELOVED RASOOL
ﷺ
208
I felt that it was necessary for me to expound on this discussion, so
that I may remind myself and all of you about how blessed we are to
be connected to Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat Imam Ahmed
Raza Khan ر ضی الہ ضنہand how important it is for us remain connected to
him and to the Maslak of Aala Hazrat.
We are now seeing more than ever, on a global level, that the
enemies of Islam and the badmazhabs (the deviant and misled sects)
especially the Sulhe Kullis (the agents of unholy unity) are raising
their heads once again, determined to harm and undermine the Ahle
Sunnat Wal Jama’at.
We must hold firmly to the way of the Noble Ahle e Bayt e ‘Izaam and

Illustrious Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا ج ين ضن, and to those blessed and pious
predecessors who have conveyed their true message to us.
209
Mustafa Qaadiri Amjadi and Huzoor Sayyidi Qaa’id e Millat, Hazrat
Allama Mufti Asjad Raza Qaadiri Razvi Noori.
This Noble Aashiq e Rasool ﷺis not just an Aalim and a Scholar of
the Sacred Sciences, but he is that personality who was completely
absorbed in the shoreless Oceans of the Love of the Beloved Rasool
ﷺ.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat, Imam e Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہis that personality, who
in this era, instilled the true Love for the Beloved Rasool ﷺin the
hearts of the Muslims.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam e Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہand his City Bareilly
Shareef, have become the ‘Sign of Recognition’ in this era, and
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہhas been chosen from The Court of Almighty
Allah and His Beloved Habeeb ﷺas a Grand Fountain of Light and
Love, which manifests the Pure Light of Deen and The Pure Love of
The Beloved Nabi ﷺthroughout the world.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہstood against the deviants and all the forces
of evil and singlehandedly unveiled their deviance, and their malice
against Allah and His Rasool ﷺ.
210
In doing so, he saved the Imaan of the Muslims until Qiyaamat, for
through his writings and his words, he revived the Deen of Almighty
Allah and resuscitated the Imaan of the Believers.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnah ر ضی الہ ضنہwas chosen as a ‘Saviour’,
so that he may guide our hearts towards Al Madinatul Munawwarah,
and so that he may direct us towards Ghaus e Azam and Khwaja e
Azam ر ضی الہ ضیھا, in a time when the deviants were declaring this to be
‘Shirk’ and ‘Bid’at’.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہleft no stone unturned, in
trying to protect the Imaan of the Muslim Ummah. Whilst doing this,
Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہestablished around him, a powerful fortress
of knowledge, wisdom and piety, in the form of his blessed sons, his
illustrious students and his distinguished Khulafa such as, Hujjatul
Islam Hazrat Allama Mufti Ash Shah Haamid Raza Khan Qaadiri
Barakaati, Ghaus ul Waqt Huzoor Mufti e Azam e Hind Ash Shah
Imam Mustafa Raza Khan Qaadiri Barakaati, Huzoor Sadrush Shariah
Badrut Tariqah Hazrat Mufti Qadi Imam Amjad Ali Azmi, Huzoor
Burhan e Millat Jabalpuri, Malik ul Ulama Allama Sayyid Zafrud’deen
Bihari, Sadrul Afaadil Allama Sayyid Na’eemud’deen Muradabadi, She
Be She Ahle Sunnat Hazrat Hashmati Ali Khan Qaadiri, Haami e Sunan
Mufti Mahmood Jaan Peshawari and Mubal’ligh e Islam Allama Abdul
Aleem Siddiqui Meeruti etc. (Allah Is Pleased With Them All), who
manifested and propagated the Pure Teachings of Islam in the shade
of Imam e Ahle Sunnat’s instructions, throughout the Globe.

Sayyiduna Imam Bukhari ر ضی الہ ضنہnarrates this Hadith Shareef from
Hazrat Sayyiduna Anas Ibn Malik ر ضی الہ ضنہthat the Beloved Nabi ﷺsaid,
The Sign of Imaan Is The Love For The Honourable Ansaar And The
Sign of Hypocrisy Is Hatred And Animosity For The Ansaar
This Hadith Shareef proves that in every era, there was a sign of
recognition of the Deen, in this time the sign of recognition is Sayyidi
Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
His Maslak has become the sign of Haq and Maslak e Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ننہ
is indeed another name of Maslak e Ahle Sunnat.
Those who have opposed the Noble Mission of The Love for The
Beloved Rasool ﷺwhich Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam e Ahle Sunnat
stood for, have been destroyed and their evil plots were destroyed
with them. This will surely be the outcome of such people in this
present day and age as well.
We can never repay his favour upon the Ummah, for saving our
Imaan from the thieves of Imaan. How can we not be indebted to a
personality who was chosen by Almighty Allah for the Protection of
the Deen?
213
If you wish to be truly accepted in the Court of the Masha’ikh, then
remain connected to that Imam who gave us their Daaman e Karam
in our hands and to his way. Hold firmly to Aala Hazrat and Maslak e
Aala Hazrat.
May Almighty Allah keep us and our children and all our descendants
firm on Maslak e Aala Hazrat which is another name for Maslak e
Ahle Sunnat, and may Allah save us from the deviants and their
agents of unholy unity. Aameen.
