OSB F.A.T TESTING PROCEDURES Steps for F.A.T testing for electrical switchboards . First of all, plug off all the fuses, meb and surge arrestor. yb = . Begin the insulation resistance test. w . Begin the test, by using insulation resistance tester (meggar test) to test every single phase to earth, phase to neutral, phase to phase with 1000v DC. 4. Make sure every single of test insulation resistance is more than 2 MQ. w . Secondly is Dielectric test, to make sure again the insulation resistance, test the phase short to other phase & earth to test the insulation resistance before start the dielectric test. (Remark: each result must more than 2 MQ) 2 . Next is using dielectric tester to check the leakage current for phase to every phase & earth with 2.5kV and duration with 60 seconds. x . The dielectric tester will showing the leakage current for the overall board. - . Test again for the insulation resistance, test the phase short to other phase & earth to test the insulation resistance. (Remark: the result might be slightly different with the previous insulation resistance test after the dielectric test) 9. Lastly, power on the switchboard & functioning test for all the compartments.
