External Visual Inspection:

‐ There are no signs of damage externally
‐ Valve & Actuator was stuck halfway – Either Valve or Actuator problem.

Stroking Test:
‐ The actuator needs to be forced air by 7 bar for it to be able to completely OPEN & CLOSE
‐ Spring are not able to open the valve
‐ Air at 4 bar are insufficient (during supply, we sized the air at 4 bar only is enough)

Stroking Test without Valve:

‐ Actuator are able to stroke open & close normally. No abnormality during travel.

Conclusion: The actuator are in good condition, The valve seems to be the reasons why we
could not stroke properly(stuck).

Way Forward: Cosmos will quote the sparepart of the valve. During valve inspection &
servicing only we will know the reason why the valve stuck.
