Define the following terms according to your understanding.
1. curators – are people whose task is to select, organize, and manage the collections
in galleries, museums, and exhibit areas. They are responsible of choosing the piece of
art to present, they interpret it and provide meaningful context from it.
2. medium – are the things artist used in creating art. It can be paint, clay, wood, digital
materials. The choice of medium affects the look, feel and general appearance of the
artwork,
3. dimensional art - two-dimensional arts which include painting, drawing, printmaking,
and photography while three-dimensional art is the term used to describe artwork that
has dimensions other than just height and width. Dimensional art includes sculptures,
installations, and other forms that take up space and may be seen from various
perspectives.
4. combined arts – is the merging of many creative forms or disciplines to produce a
cohesive and comprehensive artistic expression. The intention is to dissolve traditional
barriers between art forms to produce a more engaging and deeper artistic experience.
5. technique in arts – is technique describes the processes, methods, and abilities an
artist uses to produce a piece of art. It includes using instruments, supplies, and
procedures to accomplish goals.

This is a framed photograph of my family. The technique approached used in this


visual art is the fill the frame technique. This is to emphasize the bond and intimacy of
the bond of each other. This also use the symmetry and patterns that shows the
balance in spaces. And to put in literal way, we framed the photograph so it can be
preserved and cannot be forgotten easily.

The things I have realized and appreciated is the


effort of the artists in creating artworks. I also
appreciated the managers, curators, buyers, Things I have realized and

The thing I have discovered is that art


takes a long process to be fulfilled. Just by
using the right medium and techniques
until the finishing touches and it doesn’t
end in it. It also needs consideration of the
curators, buyers, collectors, managers and
art dealers to be presented in the world.
