club (DLF TMC). Keeping in TM Dr. Snehalatha L
line with the scintillating energy of
the club, I am extremely happy to
present to you the third edition of
DYNAMIX, the newsletter of Dynamic
Leaders Forum Toastmasters Club.
The theme of this edition of DYNAMIX
is “GO BEYOND”. It has been a tough
time for most of us struggling to
survive and stay safe in the
pandemic time. Nonetheless, we
must think beyond the covid times
and look forward to a normal happy
life.
Most of us are at DLF TMC to stretch
beyond our self-imposed limits and
to rise above our fear of public
speaking. Expressing yourself
through writing and sharing your
thoughts with others is found to
have therapeutic effects also. Our
members have come forward to
share their thoughts through a
plethora of topics which will surely

and thoughts clearly, learn to accept
our mistakes, have the ability to work
with diverse teams, and constantly
keep learning.

One such example is of a Graduate
student working part-time in a
Coffee shop, and she was a Zoology
student. She worked there day and
night to fund herself financially. But
to keep her job interesting and keep
her customers engaged, she would
ask the waiting customers what their
favorite animal was and based on the
answer, she would rattle off exciting
facts about the animal. This news
slowly spread, and people started
visiting the coffee shop where the
animal lady worked.

tried, failed, and learned to
do it differently. Allow me
to share my views with you.
It is rarely achievable when we try to
step outside of our comfort zone,
based on others’ opinions. Unless we
do not have any pressing need within
us, it will not help to move forward.
The moment when we try to do new
things that we are not comfortable
with, the most possible instruction
from our inner critical voice is: Stop
doing it! This happens because of
fear and hesitation to do the
unknown.
Any action that we do with fear,
supported by its allies – worry and
anxiety, that action will not help us
to try new things. Aspiration, Deep
desires, Will to grow are the
motivators to try new things.

to get freedom, are the front runners

we try to achieve, why do we want to
achieve it and how is that going to
benefit us. The most important factor is
not trying to attempt just because of
others' opinions.
It is not necessary to step out of our
comfort zone completely, but we can
always expand its boundaries by
exploring the things we like to do and
leveraging our existing strengths.

comes and don't want to “GO

would get the same old results.
But if you do that extra bit of effort,
then you would see a better result
coming in.
While it is easy to state this but
practically, we must approach this in
a manner that can fetch the modified
better result.
Any Cricket fan would have spoofed
in the ’90s or the 2000s about
scoring a double century in a One
Day International (ODI), but on 24th
Feb 2010, Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar
made it happen by scoring the first
ODI Double Century in World Cricket
history. He was staying there for a
short period of time when Rohit
Sharma joined him in the company in
2011. Today as I pen this article

forte. Some may say we can deviate but
should not bend the rules. I never do
the latter but try to avoid the former as
much as possible.
I went beyond my family contours when
I got my job in a public sector company
when I was about to turn 20 years of
age. Losing my father at the tender age
of 11 years I took this as a challenge
when I got posted in a place near Erode.

called fear. When does this giant
monster grow enormously?

HISTORY OF CLUB
The club was chartered on 16th June 2020. Demo meetings were initiated
in October 2019 by Manju K Manohar DTM along with TM Aswathy. Demo
meetings were conducted in Sree Shanthi Anand Vidyalaya, School in
Thirumudivakkam, Chennai. The meetings were conducted every Sunday
without any break and visiting TMs from other clubs came to support. In
March 2020, the lockdown due to the COVID pandemic was announced
and the club switched over to the online meeting mode.
