“RACE TO WIN “

The month has started with a flurry of activity across the blocks in a village in
Dindivanam. Days went by and one fine day the panchayat head received a letter from
the central government. He wasn’t sure what was it about and he felt really nervous.
The moment he unfolded the letter his face was enlightened with happiness. He was
extremely amused and thrilled and with all those spirit inside him, off he went to
announce this delightful news about the celebration the next week to all the
townsmen residing in that serene village.

After getting to know about the celebration , people started the preparation. The
entire village was lit up with shimmering lights and bright coloured rangolis. The fresh
and pleasant flower garlands were hung in the streets which made the surrounding
refreshed and aromatic. The whole village was in festive mood. but aren’t you
wondering what is the so special about this occasion ? let’s travel back in time
whoosh !

Around 445 villages across Tamil Nadu still practice untouchability, a form of
suppression against people belonging to Dalit and Tribal communities . And this village
was also under such superstitious practice. but one incident has brought a change in
the condition of the village. One fine day a boy from a family who holds the highest
social status was strolling in the village. He went to each child and was bragging that
he was the richest in that village. He was also praising himself .After a while he went to
the nearby river, which was ethereal with its gentle flow and peaceful surroundings. He
was admiring himself in the crystal -clear water and was proud of his looks and
appearance.

But all of a sudden he fell into the river and was crying out for a helping hand .”
HELP ! HELP ! ” he yelled . There was this one child who wanted to help the drowning
boy but he stopped and said “ NO , don’t help me. I don’t want be saved by a poverty
–stricken boy like you. I will not let my family’s honour to droop down. just go away “
and mournfully he was dragged into the water and he departed this world Forever.
Every villagers there were also deeply saddened . and they finally came to decision that
henceforth they would not allow anyone die due to racism.

As we all know small steps yields big results. So the village of Dindivanam protested
against RACIAL DISCRIMINATION and wanted to put an end to racism. The people of
this village were illiterate but they had a sense of humanity in them. They didn’t treat
anyone as an inferior and they despised social discrimination. After a period of time
the village got their reward from the Central Government stating that their village got
themselves a unique identity - The 1st Racism free village award.

And thus they earned what they deserve. Following their principle other nearby
villages have also started to abolish racism. Your future is created by what you do
today. So Fight against racism.

2 minute motivational speech

Tell yourself – I want to be the best! Tell yourself – I’ll be the best! Tell
yourself I’m the best!!! The path begins with the first step. Action from
thought, thought from desire. Say – I want to become the best, I will become
the best, I am the best! It’s not the easy way, but the best! And you chose it
because you are strong, because you can do anything!!!

Go to the end. From the very moment you said – I want to become the best,
until the moment when you became one! The main thing is to believe that you
are the best, to believe you are strong, to believe that you can! Whatever
challenge you face, you can solve it! Whatever obstacle is in your way, you can
overcome it!!!

Giving up is impossible! Be true to the words you said. Thinking once – I want
to become the best, you promised yourself to become the best. There is no way
back! You have to be the best, no matter what! Go to the goal, ignoring the
pain, ignoring everything that hinders you! You can do it!!!

I want to be the best, I will be the best, I am the best!!! Repeat these words
every day! Remember – the strong one is not the one who did not fall, but the
one who fell and got up! Failure, defeat make us better and stronger if we get
up and keep going! If you fall, get up and go! And remember, you can do
anything! The road to construction is always under construction .
