Descon is a well-known organization for the designing of industrial processes as well as for its quality, safety and
on-time delivery of the projects and products. Being a piping engineer I own the following tasks there:

 Preparing the Material Requisitions for all the piping related items.
 Preparing the Data Sheets and Specifications for all the piping related items.
 Understanding of the different piping codes and standards along with the piping material specifications.
 Understanding of the P&ID’s and line-lists.
 Stress analysis of the Piping and generating the final results.
 Plot plan Preparation.
 Piping design for Pipe Rack, Sleepovers, Storage tanks, Towers, Vessels, Columns, Drums, Heat
Exchangers, Air fin Coolers, Pumps, Compressors and Blowers.

Descon is a multi-national company operating in Pakistan, Africa and Middle East working in engineering sector
for providing the process design, piping and lay outing of different oil and gas industries as well as fertilizer
industries. Descon is well known for its quality, safety and on-time delivery of the projects. As an intern in the
piping department of Descon Engineering, I am responsible for the tasks mentioned below:

 Assisting the on-job engineers in the piping department to get the real life experience of the industries.
 Gaining knowledge of different software like Cesar and PDS (Plant Design Software) used for the
analysis of stress in process pipelines and the routing of the process pipelines.
 Learning the basics of the industries lay outing and then apply my knowledge in the practical field.

yogurt and other dairy products. As an Intern my duties were to observe and understand the treatment process
on water plant. Here is an overview of my experience and key achievements at water treatment plant.

Final year project “UREA SYNTHESIS BY TOYO’S ACES PROCESS” ~ September 2020 to June 2021
During my final year project, I had worked on different aspects of the Urea Synthesis Process by Toyo’s Aces
Process. Following are the key points of my knowledge of the final year project.

 Design of the main process equipments in the plant.

 Comparison of different urea synthesis process and then finding the best process which is more
economical for the industry.
 Got knowledge of the whole urea synthesis process.
