method:

Involves making decisions about which skills to teach, what content to include, and the order
in which that content will be presented. It combines approaches, designs, and procedures to
create a comprehensive plan for instruction.

Approach:

An approach is a theory that guides language learning. It provides an understanding of the


psychological and cognitive processes involved in learning a language, as well as the
conditions that support successful learning.

Proposal for syllabus design:

Syllabus design proposal involves determining the structure through which linguistic content
is specified in a method. Traditionally, syllabus has been more aligned with
product-centered methods rather than process-centered ones. It includes criteria for
selecting and organizing linguistic or subject-matter content.

Classroom Procedure:

Classroom procedures are the moment-to-moment practice and actions used in language
teaching following a specific method. They are where we describe how a method puts its
approach and design into practice in the classroom
