CHAD,

for this claim is CA-081523973674. Please print this page or write the confirmation number down for your records.
Please read the important instructions below.

WHAT SHOULD YOU DO NEXT?

1. YOU MUST FILE WEEKLY CONTINUED CLAIMS TO REQUEST PAYMENT FOR EACH WEEK OF UNEMPLOYMENT.

Your first weekly continued claim must be filed between Sunday 08/20/2023 and Saturday 08/26/2023 to request
payment for week ending 08/19/2023. You must then file a claim for each consecutive week to request payment for
the prior week. IF WEEKLY CLAIMS ARE NOT FILED IN A TIMELY MANNER, PAYMENT WILL NOT BE MADE.

If there is a break in your filing sequence i.e., you skip or forget to file for a week or more, YOU MUST FILE A NEW
APPLICATION TO RESTART YOUR CLAIM.

YOU MUST FILE YOUR WEEKLY CONTINUED CLAIM ON THE SAME WEBSITE YOU FILED YOUR APPLICATION FOR
BENEFITS ON.

2. PROMPT RESPONSE TO ANY REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS EXPECTED AND WILL EXPEDITE
YOUR BENEFIT ELIGIBILITY DETERMINATION.

If you choose email as your contact preference, it is your responsibility to check your email regularly. You may
receive request for additional information by U.S. Mail, email or phone. Failure to respond to any request for
information will result in your eligibility being determined on the limited amount of information available, which
could result in a denial of benefits. You have the right to appeal any determination you receive.

3. IMPORTANT ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT THAT YOU MUST MEET :

Chad, you are required to maintain detailed records of all work search efforts for each week you wish to
file for benefits.

Unless you have been advised in writing by NH Employment Security per State and Federal law, you must actively
perform work search activities and/or make direct employer contacts and document your efforts for each and every
week you file for UI (Unemployment Insurance) benefits. A reasonable work search activity and/or contact requires
more than one or two activities and/or contacts per week and the use of more than one method to look for work
during various days of the week. The types of work considered suitable and the number of activities and/or contacts
considered reasonable generally increases the longer you are unemployed. Listing the same contacts and/or
activities each week is not considered an adequate work search. The department periodically reviews the number
and adequacy of work search activities and/or contacts provided. Penalties exist for providing false
information. If you do not meet this requirement, your benefits may be delayed or denied. If you are later
found to be ineligible for previously paid benefits, due to your failure to meet the work search requirements, you
may be found overpaid and be required to repay the benefits.
