1. The resource teacher always has an effective routine which helps the students to follow
and build discipline. He always has this counting 1, 2 and 3 which means, one is arms
forward, 2 is hands up, and 3 is hands sideward. This routine before class was very
effective because it gets the attention of the students right away especially, when they are
too noisy and not listening. Another routine that he has was, letting the students follow
the Zumba dance as their energizer before class. It boosts the student’s energy and
attention before starting the recap and new lesson. Telling them to sleep in their armchair
when they are not yet called when checking their activities and assignments.
2. All of the routines that I have mentioned in item number one are consistently applied
every day, in different section that our resource teacher is handling. This is his way to let
the pupils think that when he is the teacher, they will surely enjoy first before learning.
Also, this is the way that he can have the command and can be able to manage the class
every time.

1. From what I have observed in my resource teacher, most likely that I will apply is the
counting routine and Zumba dance. Whenever they are not listening, the beat in counting
the numbers can catch their attention and then right away, they will respond to what to act
on the numbers. Zumba dance is also a good start before the formal lesson because they
will be more energized and awake before lesson.
1. Be responsible -It helps the students to be mindful of their
things and roles inside the classroom.
2. Be respectful -Reminds them to show respect all the time,
to the faculty members and their classmates.
3. Raise your hand to talk -Let them to share their thoughts during
recitations
4. Listen to the teacher -Helps the student to focus on the lesson.
5. Sit nicely in your chair -Trains the students to sit properly when they
are either inside or outside the classroom.

1. In making the rules, what makes it to formulate is that, the teacher also looks into the
factors that will occur and grade level of the pupils. Just for example, raise your hand to
talk, the teacher will do really apply these rules because if the teacher does not have this,
the students will use to answer in chorus. There are also possibilities that the other pupils
will only copy and speak together the answer with their classmate.
2. Yes, classroom rules are very important for the pupils to also feel like they were inside
their house. There are rules to follow, there are restriction in behaviors and action, and of
course for them to be trained as earlier about what to act or respond on things around
them. In school, the pupils did not just go there to learn the lesson but also to grow their
personality.

Most likely, I will also have the same classroom rules set by our resource teacher because I
can see that it was general rules and it was very effective when the teacher apply it along
with its proper personality and behavior inside the classroom. So that the students will follow
with my command and they will do really take it seriously.
The pictures above are examples of classroom routines that our resource teachers apply
every session. The picture at the left side is the counting 1-3 and in the right side is where he
tells the pupils to sleep and then stand when their name is called to check individually their
activity. These routines are very proper and easy to follow by the grade 1 pupils.
