Toros Samsun Terminal is operated under the structure of the Toros Samsun Production Plant which

produces NP/NPK compound fertilizer and DAP fertilizer (the ones commonly used in Turkey). The plant has
a production capacity of 575,000 t fertilizers per year.

According to ISM sources, due to a convenient structure for handling both bulk solid cargoes and liquid
chemical products, Toros Samsun Terminal is capable of serving up to 600 vessels per year and handling about
4.2 million t dry bulk cargoes such as grain, iron ore, fertilizers, sulphur, clinker, etc.

The terminal manages a 204 m long pier with two berthing areas on each side with a draft from 9.5 m to
19.5 m, which allows serving up to 50k dwt vessels at the Berth-1 and up to 30k dwt vessels at the Berth-2.

The Berth-1 is mostly used for handling dry bulk cargoes. The berth is equipped with a SWL crane offering
30 t lifting capacity and 1,000 t per hour l/d rate. The conveyor of 1,000 t per hour carrying capacity is
connecting Berth-1 with all fertilizer warehouses. The incoming coal is discharged by jetty crane with further
weighting and carrying to open fields by trucks.

Berth-2 is equipped with a mobile crane of 250 t per hour loading and unloading capacity. The berth can
handle bulk and general cargoes, but it is more often used for handling liquid chemicals, especially ammonia,
phosphoric acid and sulphuric acid.

There are four warehouses for different dry bulk cargoes (1 x 13,000 t, 2 x 60,000 t and 1 x 45,000 t), three
special warehouses for bulk fertilizers (1 x 45,000 t, 1 x 40,000 t and 1 x 13,000 t), a warehouse for bagged
cargoes (4,300 t) and a 150,000 sq m open storage area.
