Higher Order Derivatives
 The derivative of y with respect to x ( or the first
derivative or y’) if differentiable, then its derivative is
called second derivative (or y’’) of the original
function. If y’’ is differentiable, then its derivative is
called the third derivative (or y’’’) of the original
function and so on.
Note:
 y’ is read as “ y prime”

 y’’ is read as “ y double prime”

 y’’’ is read as “ y triple prime”
