To provide quality training for youth leadership among the members of the Senior Scout section and to comply with the requirements specified by the Eagle Scouts Passport, Oriental Mindoro Council announces the conduct of Simultaneous Districtwide Crew Leaders Training Course (CLTC) on March 16-17, 2024 at the venues determined by the Clustered Districts 2. Objectives of the said training are: a provide leadership training skills to senior scouts update and refiesh on the basic concepts and skills of scouting program ©. acquire competence for active learning which is necessary in dealing with other senior scouts in their respective institutions. 4d. produce a well- trained, task- oriented, self-directed and motivated crew leaders who will serve as the primary agents in the realization of scouting ideals. 3. Participants to these trainings are registered Senior Scouts who have not yet able to complete the CLTC as required by the Advancement Passport especially those who are already working on their eagle scout rank. 4. All participants are expected to be at their respective training venue on March 15, 2024, at 6:00 PM for the opening program and start of the training and leave for home after the closing program on the last day of the course, Night sessions are expected to finish all the sessions. Likewise, all participants are requested to come ready with the following: ‘@ Official Type A Uniform, Type B Uniform, and enough clothes for the training b. portable tents, sleeping gears, flashlights, first aid kit and medicine ©. Advancement Passport 4d, other personal and optional needs. 5. A registration Fee of One hundred fifty pesos (Php 150.00) to be handled by Host Schools will be charged each participant to cover costs of training materials, certificates and other incidental expenses Boy Scouts of the Philippines ORIENTAL MINDORO COUNCIL Gov. However, Outfit Advisors may coordinate with the host school as to the meal of their senior scouts, They may also assign someone to cook for the meal/snack of their senior scouts, A two- day Service Credit will be given to teachers and staff who will serve in the said Training and Compensatory Time-Off (CTO) for school heads as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 76, s. 2012 Guidelines on Revitalizing Boy Scouting in Schools Nationwide to wit: 3.8 Service Credits, Other Credits for Awards Received and Trainings Attended and Other Incentives as reiterated in DECS Memorandum No. 143 s. 1997 that service credits shall be granted for attendance in Scouting Activities. . All Wood Badge Holders, graduate of the Course for Managers of Learning (CML) and Assistant Leader Trainers (ALT) are requested to serve as Members of the Training Staff. Graduates of the Basic Training Course (BTC) may also serve in the said CLTC. They must be at the venue of their assigned DistricClustered Districts on March 15, 5:00 PM for the meeting and preparations for the training, Attached as enclosure is the list of members of the training staff. Eagle Scouts who intends to serve as support staff of the said course are advised to seek Parental Consent and permit from their respective Institutional Head and Outfit Advisors, For information and proper guidance.
