Detailed Lesson Plan in English 2

I. Objectives

At the end of a 50-minute discussion, the students should be able to:


a. identify words with short “e,i” sound in CVC pattern
b. read words with short “e,i” sound in CVC pattern; and
c. appreciate the value of cooperation.

II. Subject Matter

Topic: Read word with short “e,i” sound in CVC pattern.

“My Pet Twigs”

I am Kim. My bedroom has a lot of things. I


have a red big wig and a pet named twigs.
Twigs is a cat and she hate to get wet. She
doesn’t like water for it wets her fur. She love
to play with the things in my bedroom, a ball,
pin, pen and my little fish key chain. She loves
to lay in my bed beside my six cute bears. I love
my wig as I love twigs.

V. Assignment
Directions: In your English notebook,
draw a thing that can be found in your
house with short “e” sound and “i” sound
in CVC pattern. Draw at least 2 things
each sound.
