Do you agree or disagree with the following statement:

First impressions are usually correct.

Use specific details and examples.

First impression is very important. By that we can try to guess the second person’s
character a little bit and also may match it to our preferences which are especially useful when
we want to make new friends. First impressions are like making a quick judgment about
someone or something when you first meet them. Some people think these fast judgments are
usually right, but it’s not always that easy.

Sure, sometimes we meet someone and instantly feel good or bad vibes about them.
Like when someone seems confident and friendly, we think they're probably nice. Or when
someone seems nervous or unfriendly, we might feel uncomfortable around them. These quick
thoughts can be helpful, like giving us a clue about what to expect.

But relying only on first impressions can be tricky. We all have our own ideas and
feelings that can get in the way. We might judge someone based on how they look or act
without really knowing them. Plus, people are more complicated than just one first impression.
Someone who seems quiet at first might turn out to be really fun once we get to know them.

It's not just about the person, though. The situation matters, too. Sometimes, we might
misjudge someone because of where we are or how we're feeling. Someone might seem
grumpy in a loud, busy place, but they're actually really nice in a quieter setting.

Furthermore, it's important to remember that people can change and grow over time.
Just because someone seems one way at first doesn't mean they'll stay that way forever. We all
have good days and bad days, and sometimes our first impressions don't capture the full picture
of who someone really is.

So, while first impressions can give us a hint, they're not always right. It's important to
stay open-minded and give people a chance to show who they really are. Instead of deciding
right away, let's take our time to get to know someone before making up our minds. That way,
we can learn more about them and maybe even make a new friend.
