BULLYING AND POVERTY

1. Setting: when and where do actions take place and general background. When: In 2014
Where: In USA. Background: Different classrooms

2. Main characters: your story must include 2 main characters and you have to
include the following information about each of them:
Introduction: They don't have a lot of money, and there are people in their school
who look down on them or treat them badly because of their money. For example, the last
time they did groups for a work in class, no one wanted to be with Alex.

a. Background information. They are siblings and they live in Texas, with their
parents, in a little but comfort house. Their parents are poorlypaid, Alejandra goes to a
bachelor´s degree, to the penultimate year of the high school, and Alex to the secondary
school, to the 4th grade.

b. Physical description and personality


Alex: He´s tall, brown eyes, black hair, with freckles. He is generous, kind, optimistic,
sensible and he loves traveling. He wants to be a pilot, because he wants to learn more
about the aircrafts.
Alejandra: She´s short, dark brown hair, with green eyes, with freckles. She is kind,
sensitive, brave, pretty and likes swimming and cooking. She wants to invent some recipes,
which she already has in her mind. And also she wants to do her mother recipes, but
improved.

3. Secondary characters: 2 at least


a. Who are them? Do they have any relationship with the main characters?
Which one?
Yes, they have a relationship, they are cousins, and they always convince others,
that the siblings are bad people, and they (Alex and Alejandra) want to take
advantage of them.

b. How are they introduced in the story?


It started because they began to talk ill, about Alejandra and ALex

c. Description of them.

Oliver: He is tall, blond, smart, arrogant, his favourite subject is mathematics and he
wants to be engineer
Sophia: She is short, brunette, rich, lazy, wears contact lenses, she likes listen to
music and likes to cook. His parents divorced recently and she wants to be a
musician

4. Main events
a. Develop your story linking events in a logical way
Their parents make an effort to be able to pay for school

Alex knows a lot about most of the countries of the world, and when he gave a
presentation about the countries of the world, the teacher was impressed because of
how many interesting things he knew.

On an excursion, when they were about to return home, they get lost because it
started to snow, and then he guided them all, because he knew where to go.

Oliver thanked Alex, because thanks to him, they were able to get out before the
mountain filled with snow. And then, apologized for everything she did to him. They
were not friends, but they respected each other.

Alejandra went with her class to a kitchen of the school, to make a recipe, there the
whole class started to cook, including Sophia, who was also in her class.

Sophia, while cooking, put a wrong ingredient in the frying pan, which made the
frying pan she was cooking in, start to flame and burn a curtain that was near, she
was surprised, so she moved away, but threw the frying pan away, which made it hit
Alejandra, burning part of her clothes. The fire started to burn the wooden cupboards,
but Alejandra went to the fire extinguisher and extinguish the fire.

Two days after that, Sophia went to thank her, because Sophia had caused the fire,
but Alejandra still fixed it and defended her, saying that it was unintentional. After she
apologized for everything she did to her. They were not friends, but they respected
each other.

b. Describe the events as accurate as possible
