What is a TED Talk?

TED is a nonprofit devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks, often
called “TED talks”.
A TED talk is a short speech, demonstration, or performance around a big idea that is meant to educate,
shift people's perspectives to encourage positive changes, or provoke conversations that matter.

The purpose of the TED talk is to allow people with different experiences and disciplines to come
together to share their knowledge, understand each others views and transform people's lives around
the world.
