I am greatly interested in joining the restaurant crew as a Server at the Merced Olive Garden. I believe I am
fully capable of managing the responsibilities of the role for which I am applying for. I'm currently a high
school student seeking part-time employment and then full-time employment upon graduation to expand
my restaurant experience in preparation for my intended career as a culinary arts teacher.

I enjoy meeting the needs of people when it comes to having a meal. I am good at communicating with
people and can speak fluently in English and Spanish. I have worked in a fast food/restaurant environment
where I took orders and prepared food in a timely manner for customer needs in which I have been able to
gain better customer service and speed at completing tasks. I am capable of understanding people from all
ages while staying friendly and professional, and when I don’t quite understand something I am not afraid
to ask for help.
