# GPSCorrect.ssf invalid in Pathfinder Office

GPSCorrect.ssf invalid in

Pathfinder Office
I am trying to post-process data collected with a Juno 3B connected to a
ProXRT, running ArcPad 10.0 R4 and GPSCorrect 3.40. I'm collecting data as
shapefiles (points) in a QuickProject and have copied the entire QuickProject
folder
! 8691onto
"my2 hard drive. 02:49 PM
07-02-2014

When I try to open the GPSCorrect.ssf file in the Differential Correction Wizard
in Pathfinder Office, I get the following message:
"Warning: One or more of the selected SSF file(s) are invalid or contain invalid
time period information."

I've read the answer at this thread (http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/49643-w)

and it doesn't seem to apply to me. There is only one ssf file in the project,
and the shapefile was created and all data collected within about 2 hours.

CheckSSF gives the following output:

[INDENT][INDENT]Check SSF Started

Any suggestions? Is there a setting in ArcPad somewhere that I've missed? Is

that 15 second UTC offset the problem, and if so how can I fix it?

That's a common error when GPS freezes up, or you close out of the collection
software without exiting. It also happens if you power off the GPS without
exiting collection software. I usually have to open a trouble ticket and send the
file to Trimble to have it processed.

Thanks for your reply! Unfortunately, that does not seem to be the
problem in my case. I just collected some data in a new shapefile and
made absolutely sure to close all the software -- still nothing.

Although this time the initial error message is simply "Invalid data file.
Cannot open file." without mentioning a bad time period.

CheckSSF still gives the same output as above (barring obvious

differences in the time of collection).
