DETAILED LESSON PLAN

1st Quarter/ Mathematics/2023-2024

I.OBJECTIVES
Content Standard

The learner demonstrates key understanding of key concepts of factors of

polynomials, rational algebraic expressions, linear equations and inequalities in two
variables, systems of linear equations and inequalities in two variables and linear
functions.

Performance Standard

The learner is able to formulate real-life problems involving factors of polynomials,

rational algebraic expressions, linear equations and inequalities in two variables and
linear functions, and solve these problems accurately using a variety of strategies.

Learning Competency

Illustrates the rectangular coordinate system and its uses (M8AL-Ie-1).

Objectives
At the end of 60 minutes session, 75% of student from Grade 8 expected to achieve
at least 75% proficiency on:
1. names the coordinates of a point;

and start the prayer)
Before you sit down, kindly arrange your chairs, pick up the pieces of trash
that you can see in your surroundings. (Student will pickup the trash and
arrange the chairs)
Class, who are absent today? Kindly check your seatmate if they are around.
(The class will tell the teacher who
are absent.)
I have here printer emojis that will represent your mood right know.
So how do you feel today?

I know that everyone of us have a lot of things to do, but still we need to listen (Student will us the emoji to state
very well and if you think your seatmate have a question just raised your hand. how they feel/mood.)

Student will see the “Stop Light “ (1 minute to go to respective groups)
