Task 2:

As major cities in the world are growing today, so do their problems.

What are the problems for young people who are living in the cities as
the result of continued growth? What are the solutions for these
problems?

Major cities are now expanding rapidly in social and economic development, but this
phenomenon also has many consequences. This essay would offer some recommendation to deal
with these issues
First, the high growth rate of cities leads to the concentration of high-tech jobs, leading to a lack
of diversity in employment. As young people do not meet the requirements of the job, they
cannot find their own jobs. Therefore, they cannot support themselves with wages. Second, the
expensive rent is due to the rapid development of the city center. Habitat increases as the level of
development of that place increases. As a result, real estate developers refuse to build a low
standard of accommodation such as affordable apartments and houses that employees can afford.
It is clear that young people struggle with housing difficulties and lack of work.
Firstly, the government can introduce a scheme of rental which can control so as to limit the
rents is mandatory. A typical example of this is the authority can set up a proportion of rent base
on their salary. Consequently, the living conditions are protected by the mechanism. Secondly, it
is crucial that employers should offer jobs that require different necessities. For instance,
breaking down a single project into several tasks gives rise to the provision of more jobs.
Obviously, it can change the working situations.
In short, the problem of employment and housing of young people stems from the rapid growth
of urban areas. By coming up with a plan and a corresponding project from the government and
the employer, these problems can be solved easily.
