INTRODUCTION
Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib is
known as the cousin and
son-in-law of Prophet
Muhammad. He was born in
Mecca in 600 CE. His
academic talents,
unbreakable piety, bravery
in war, and lineage make him
a highly respected person in
the Muslim community.
Often referred to as the
"Lion of God," Ali's life is
proof to his bravery,
judgment, and love for Islam;
it serves as an example for
believers of all ages to
follow.
 LINEAGE
His lineage can be traced
back to the Quraysh tribe,
which was one of the
important tribes in Mecca at
the time of Prophet
Mohammad. His father was
NAME Abu Talib ibn Abdul Muttalib,
his mother was Fatimah bint

HIS RELATION WITH
THE PROPHET
The Prophet Muhammad and Hazrat Ali
had a close, a family-friendly connection
based on mutual respect. Their shared

strengthened their bond as cousins. Ali's
early conversion to Islam and his
continuous support of the Prophet
during both good and difficult times
showed his unshakable loyalty to the
Prophet. Hazrat Muhammad, on the other
hand, respected Ali's knowledge and

significant roles within the Muslim
community.
The bond between them grew
stronger when Hazrat Ali wed
Muhammad's daughter Fatima. Their
marriage strengthened their
spiritual bond in addition to their
family ties. Ali was highly regarded

CHILDHOOD

strong sense of justice and
compassion, which laid the
foundation for his later status as a
respected figure in Islamic history.
BROUGHT UP
Living near the Prophet Muhammad
and with his father Abu Talib as his
guide, Hazrat Ali was born with
determination, self-control and a
strong commitment to Islam. Ali's
early years were made better, with
the economic difficulties, by being
exposed to Islamic teachings and
the noble example of the Prophet,
which shaped his undying devotion
to the faith and his deep sense of
justice.
CHARACTERISTICS
Hazrat Ali gained the title of "Asadullah," or the "Lion of
God," for his constant bravery and his unbreakable
dedication to justice and morality. He demonstrated his
intellectual prowess by conveying the principles of Islam
with grace and depth in speeches and messages. Ali was
an example to Jews because of his modest lifestyle,
humility, and piety, which were shown in his dedication
to prayer. Above all, his constant loyalty to and support
of the Prophet Muhammad, as well as his leadership and
contributions to Islam afterward, established his status
in Islamic history.
 SKILLS
Hazrat Ali was praised for his many talents and qualities.
He was a superb military commander who was well-
known for his bravery and strategic brilliance. In lectures
and writings, his fluency and intelligence offered an
understanding of Islamic principles. In addition to his
vast understanding of theology and ethics, which made
him a famous scholar and guide, Ali was renowned for his
fairness as a judge. His moral honesty and unshakable

 SERVICES FOR ISLAM
