Subject: Motivation letter for admission to Energy Engineering

To whom it may concern

The thought of studying higher education in one of Italy's esteemed, renowned, and oldest
institutions excites and motivates me. A number of scientific innovators, mathematicians,
astronomers, political economists, and Nobel Prize winners have received their education at
the highly regarded University of Genoa, which is one of the best institutions in Europe.
Because of the high standards and quality of instruction, the range of study options, the
potential for research, the affordable tuition, the availability of programs taught in English,
and the opportunities for internships during the academic year, the University of Genoa has
always been among my top priorities.

Thus, among the many topics of study at the University of Genoa, Energy Engineering best
matches my interests, and I am anxious to apply. I'm going to demonstrate my passion in the
field I picked while holding a bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering with a 3.4 CGPA.
Thermodynamics, heat and mass transfer, power plant engineering, sustainable energy
technologies, compressible flows, and propulsion systems are just a few of the topics that
have captured my attention. In fact, these are the topics in which I received exceptional
grades, demonstrating my intense interest in the aforementioned subject matter. In addition,
for my final year project, which is based on the Brayton cycle in gas turbines, I designed and
built a turbojet engine, which was not as easy as it sounds, but by using two turbochargers in
a cross-configuration with the combustion chambers in the middle to ensure its operation
without any axial compressor and turbine, which I later named Twin Turbo Cross-flow Dual
Tabular Combustor, or TTX2TC, a novel turbojet Engine.

In order to further support my expertise, I would like to mention that I have been employed
as a Sub-Assistant Engineer in the Mechanical Workshop department of one of Pakistan's top
textile companies, Artistic Milliners, since November 2021, shortly after graduating. In this
position, I am in charge of ensuring the efficient operation of mechanical machinery and
equipment, as well as the efficient use of energy. I regularly assess energy systems for
correction in order to lower industrial energy use. As a result of the aforementioned
successes, I want to specialize in my area of interest and work in the future to ensure that
energy and its forms are sustainable.

To conclude, I feel confident to secure admission into the applied field of study because of my
interest and past attainments that make me strong to get my passion. Undoubtedly, securing
admission will help me and my interest to grow, but also be beneficial for the country and
university in which such talent gets enrolled. That’s all over from me, now, looking forward to
a suitable response.
