A reptilian predator endemic to the Enkharan Jeweled

Desert, the shardsnake is one of the largest ophidians
in Valerna, often big enough to hunt and kill humans.

A shardsnake attacks by biting and coiling around its
target, allowing its jagged shards to pierce and cut into Proficiency Bonus +5
oponents that try to resist. When threatened, the snake Condition Immunities Petrified, poisoned
coils up into a hard, gemlike defensive shape, making Senses Darkvision 60 ft., passive Perception 10
most other creatures think twice about striking it. Languages –

Shard coat. A creature that makes a melee attack

against the shardsnake must succeed on a DC 14
Dexterity save or take 1d6 slashing damage.

ACTIONS
Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one
target. Hit: 7 (1d6 + 4) piercing damage plus 5 (1d10)
poison damage, and the target must succeed on a
DC 14 Constitution save or become Poisoned until it
finishes a long or short rest.
Coil Bulwark. The shardsnake becomes a coil
surrounded with sharp crystal shards. It speed
becomes 0, and it gains resistance to bludgeoning,
piercing and slashing damage until its next turn.
Cutting Move. The shardsnake extends its shards and
moves its speed. Every creature within 5 ft. of the
shardsnake during its move must succeed on a DC 14
Dexterity save or take 1d6 slashing damage.
