Subject: Request of Availment of one (1) unit Composting Facility for Biodegradable
Wastes

Dear Director Bares:

On behalf of the barangay council of Poblacion West, Calasiao, Pangasinan,
may we request to avail of the 1 unit composting machineries needed to process
biodegradable wastes. The tremendous increase in the bulk of biodegradable waste
generated daily by our residents, the numerous food establishments, and the schools
most specially the Calasiao Comprehensive National High School with its 6,000 student
population, plus the numerous smaller canteens outside the perimeter of the school
which also cater to the food needs of the students which the school canteens can't
meet, including schoolyard garden wastes.

We intend to process these biodegradable wastes so as to convert them into

compost or organic fertilizer, which we can contribute to the pool of compost that will be
used in other barangays in our municipality.

We appreciate it so much if you could include our barangay to be a recipient of

this highly needed facility.

We are looking forward to a great working relationship with you, as we all aim to
help in the renewal of our only home, the planet Earth.

Subject: Request for Availment of 1 Unit Composting Equipments for

Biodegradable Wastes

Dear Dir. Bares:

On behalf of the barangay council of ___________, Calasiao, Pangasinan, may

we request to avail of one (1) unit Composting machineries for the processing of
biodegradable wastes.

We learned of the highly beneficial program for our farmers from the office of our
Municipal Mayor Kevin Roy Macanlalay and we deem it a high necessity to acquire the
said machineries, to support the Department of Agriculture's commitment to achieving
food security in the country by converting market and agricultural wastes into organic
compost (fertilizer), thus increasing and enhancing agricultural production and reducing
the environmental impact of waste accumulation.

We are hopeful and grateful of the inclusion of our barangay as a beneficiary.

Rest assured, that we will provide and submit to your office all the requirements needed
to fulfill the genuine intent of this facility that will surely help in improving the quality of
farm soils, better harvest, and sufficient food for every Filipino family.
