BOMBA INSPECTION GENERAL

GUIDELINE
A. GENERAL

1. Architectural (passive) and M&E (active) plan must be endorsed and approved by Bomba.

2. Passive (Architecture)
a. Installation on site according to approved Bomba drawing.
b. External access road work must meet with bomba requirement
c. Tagging on fire door must be installed along with self-closing device
d. Tagging and labeling for all lift motor room, hose reel/wet riser compartment, service duct, pump room, electrical
room, and etc.
e. All electrical and mechanical risers at floor level and wall penetration must be sealed up with approved fire seal
material.
f. Water supply must be available for all firefighting water tank.
g. Water supply must be available for testing of Fire Hydrants.
h. All signage on fire system related rooms (pump/genset/MSB/transformer/main control) must be installed.
i. Tower Crane and Gondola to be dismantled.
j. External window and facade to be closed

3. Active (Mechanical)
a. Standby generator shall be tested for cranking test and change over mode.
b. Electrical testing (fireman isolating switch, essential power supply for emergency light and Keluar Sign).
c. Electrical supply must be in operation to all firefighting panels and pumps, fireman lift and fire alarm panels.
d. Affix mimic floor plan at lift lobby.
e. Smoke Spill/Pressurization system must be operation and functional
f. Tagging on each jockey, duty, standby pump for sprinkler, wet riser and hosereel systems must be installed.

4. Other services
a. Fireman lift and lift must be inspected and operational.
b. Power supply must be permanent.
c. Water supply must be permanent.

5. Please prepare tables, chairs and light refreshments on the day of inspection.

6. Please make sure all the doors are unlocked and all the keys for any firefighting related equipment are available on the day
of the inspection.

7. Please make sure at least one volunteer from maincon, architect and M & E consultant to closely follow the Bomba officers
during the inspection.

8. Please prepare sufficient walkie-talkie and prepare enough people to standby at main control room, genset room, rooftop
(wet riser) and pump room.
B. BOMBA FORMS & LETTERS

1. COVER LETTER TO CALL FOR BOMBA INSPECTION

- To be prepared by architect
- For site that will be inspected by Bomba Putrajaya HQ, then this letter has to be submitted to OSC first to obtain
OSC acknowledgement receipt before it can be submitted to Bomba

2. BORANG SENARAI SEMAK PERMOHONAN PEMERIKSAAN KESELAMATAN KEBAKARAN

- Form to be filled up by Fire Contractor & signed by Architect

3. BLUE FORM (PERAKUAN PEMASANGAN, SISTEM KEBOMBAAN & ELEMEN STRUKTUR)

- Title to be provided by Architect
- JBPM reference number to be obtained from approved Bomba passive or active plan
- Form to be signed & stamped by Ar Architect (2 copies)
- Form to be signed & stamped by Ir M&E Consultant (2 copies)

4. C1 C2 C3 FORM
- Title & JBPM reference number as per blue form
- Each form must come with valid Bomba certificate: ‘Sijil Perakuan Bahan or Sijil Pepasangan Keselamatan Kebakaran’
- Materials that required C1 C2 C3 form are as listed in below table:

8. E-FEIS EXTINGUISHER PAYMENT RECEIPT & QUANTITY

9. WATER AUTHORITY (SYABAS/SAINS/PAIP/SAJ) CLEARANCE LETTER OR ANY DOCUMENT THAT CAN PROVE WATER SUPPLY IS
PERMANENT
- To be provided by Developer or M&E Consultant

10. TNB CLEARANCE LETTER OR HANDOVER LETTER OR ANY DOCUMENT THAT CAN PROVE ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY IS
PERMANENT

- Final mimic graphic floor plan, site plan, and side elevation plan to be provided by architect
