There are two patterns for questions: Œ Do you xxxx?  Are you xxxx?

Œ VERBS: I like pop music. Do you like pop music?


I want a holiday. Do you want a holiday?
He watches TV. Does he watch TV?
They work in the city. Do they work in the city?

 ADJECTIVES He is tall. Is he tall?


I am happy. Are you happy?
Boston is crowded. Is Boston crowded?
English is easy. Is English easy?

Practice #1: Write Questions:


1) They live in the UK. Do they live in the UK?
2) He is strong. Is he strong?
3) I like chicken.
4) I read magazines.
5) She is a teacher.
6) John is intelligent.
7) Sarah works in New York.
8) I have a car.
9) My parents surf the Internet.

Practice #2: Underline the correct answer:
