I. OBJECTIVES Objectives must be met over the week and connected to curriculum standards. To meet the objectives, necessary procedures must be followed and if needed, additional lessons, exercises and remedial activities may be done for
developing content knowledge and competencies. These are assessed during Formative Assessment strategies. Valuing objectives support the learning of content and competencies and enable children to find significance and joy in
learning the lessons. Weekly objectives shall be derived from the curriculum guides.
A. Content Standards MUSIC: The learner demonstrates understanding of the musical characteristics of representative music from the lowlands of Luzon.
ARTS: The learner (1) art elements and processes by synthesizing and applying prior knowledge and skills (2) the salient features of the arts of Luzon (highlands and
lowlands) by showing the relationship of the elements of art and processes among culturally diverse communities in the country (3) the Philippines as having a rich artistic
and cultural tradition from precolonial to present times.
P.E.: The learner demonstrates understanding of guidelines and principles in exercise program design to achieve personal fitness.
HEALTH: The learner demonstrates understanding of holistic health and its management of health concerns, the growth and development of adolescents and how to
manage its challenges.
B. Performance Standards MUSIC: The learner performs music of the lowlands with appropriate pitch, rhythm, expression and style.
ARTS: The learner (1) create artworks showing the characteristic elements of the arts of Luzon (highlands and lowlands) (2) exhibit completed artworks for appreciation and
critiquing.
P.E.: The learner designs an individualized exercise program to achieve personal fitness.
HEALTH: The learner appropriately manages concerns and challenges during adolescence to achieve holistic health.
